I doubt it would be comfortable even in an eight-year-old's tiny hands. I hate it. I hate it so much and it's literally not worth the effort to return. Just gonna call this a $20 lesson in what not to buy.

I was worried at first about the usb dongle but then discovered it's storage spot in the battery compartment. Speaking of, how cool is the magneticic battery compartment cover?! I love it. It fits in my slim laptop bag without protruding like a lump - excellent value for this little mouse

It works great and it's not bulky feeling when touching it. It's nice and light. The only negative is it came with a dead battery, but a new battery was the simple solution. Overall I would definitely recommend this mouse.

It works great without a mouse pad on all the surfaces I've tried, and it has a clever storage spot for the wireless USB transmitter when traveling (assuming you don't leave it plugged in to the computer) so it won't get lost. The low profile fits easily into a laptop bag, but requires a little getting used to if you normally use a full-size mouse. Personally, I hate using laptop touchpads, and this mouse is a big improvement. The only one disappointed is our cat, who no longer as a mouse cord to play with while we are using the computer.

I'm very happy I was able to do that. It's small so fits my hand very comfortably and it works well. The only disappointment was that my first one was rose gold and matched my laptop but the gold is close enough :) I'm very happy.

It has a sleek design, which isn't necessarily the best ergonomic mouse (reason for 4 stars), but I still like it. I bought a pale gold HP laptop so this mouse matches it nicely. It also works on many surfaces so far. I have read some reviews that state it feels cheap, but I disagree. I think it has a minimalist design.

New battery, special cleaning, speaking kindly to it did nothing to fix it. Went to HP and click click click! Wow, that was easy and it got here in a few days and now everything is perfect! (The old, dying mouse could not pick up the letters easily in "Words with Friends" and that was surely driving me crazy.) This model is a little more sleek than the old one and seems easier to manuever. Good job HP. Oh, and it was on sale, also! Double yea!

My fault for not researching this model. The other issue is that it sits to low. It doesn't rest well in your palm, since I have big hands it becomes awkward for my hand to move around. But its just a personal preference. Other than that it works well. Good for small hands.

I was looking for a wireless mouse, in fact, a Bluetooth mouse. It is not the one. The pictures don't show the device this mouse comes up with. You need to plug a device on your computer to sync this mouse with. I just have one USB port, so I cannot use this mouse most of the time I am on my computer. Know before you buy.

I just use the touch pad. If you are looking for a slim design this will suit you but just know for those who use traditional mouse, it does make a difference. Also causes awkwardness for wrist position and a bit fatigue.

Then I had a difficult time removing the metal part of the dismantled USB. So I am a bit disappointed. While it worked, it was beautiful, light, responsive, and I was enjoying my user experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cant get it to work consistantly the mouse only works if the receiver usb is very close. my tower is located to the side of my desk, and when i move the mouse across my desk to the far side/middle of my keyboard it stops working. only works on the side of my desk closest to the tower. it is also very glitchy no matter how i adjust the responsiveness. Gave it to a co-worker and he didnt like it either. I should have just returned it.

The USB connector is blue! so I cannot miss it and knock it by accident ruining the USB port. HP's own price made a direct purchase a better option too.

But after 3 months, there was something wrong with the scroll wheel. When I use the scroll wheel, it always went up and down. It made me quite upset when I browse the website, or use other software. I have to use the touch pad instead. Why do I still need to use the touch board since I have a mouse? Very unhappy. :-(

I just had a chance to use it yesterday on my Macbook. The gear doesn't work. I can't scroll up or down. I tried to report this to the customer service or send it for repair. It seems the customer service is not really helpful at all. The site always show: "We're sorry HP Customer Support site is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back later." Mouse is also poor quality and there is a scratch on it. I also expect the big company like HP provides very good customer care. It seems I am wrong. I have to say good bye to HP forever.

The logistics don't work! It was a waste of money. Also the mouse pad was larger than my computer table. I thought it would be a much smaller piece. This was a waste of my money!

Although I thought that it has bluetooth in the mouse, not as USB.The other is that shape is really specific. For me it leaves a whole between my hand and mouse, and it's a little uncomfortable. But I guess it depends on preferences. I would recommend to go to best buy and check it before buying.

I got it as a backup and because it looks awesome but I barely used it and I guess I had some stuff on top of it and the scrolling wheel broke already. I mean I've had other mouses and yes they've been thrown around a little and whatever, but none have gotten messed up. The fact that I barely used it makes me regret getting this because how cheap the material was.

I got so used to it I had to have another square mouse. Realized I couldn't replace it with anything similar enough so I bought the same one directly from HP. Not only did they have the best price also was on sale for 1/2 off and free shipping. I should have bought 2. The gold is more of a 'tan' to me though.

Poros- Good input, easy to set up, cool little storage system inside the body of the mouse. Cons- really small click, and because I tried some games out it now is running low on satisfying click sounds. also, I would recommend a mouse pad, it loads on a hardwood desk. The last con is that the laser on the bottom does not have an auto turn off, Ill see what happens in a few months.
