Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probook 450 G10 Probook - HP reduced the number of PCI slots, the network adapter card needed to be replaced, the power cable has a cheap cell phone type connection into the laptop (it replaced the workhorse cylindrical connection. Until this G10 model, the Probook had been a very functional laptop for my requirements. I returned the Probook to HP. It's time for product management to refresh this product with a focus on functionality and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meets My Needs Perfectly I write fiction and needed a large screen for plotting. This monitor is perfect for me. I have it attached to a HP laptop. Really nice display and resolution. It comes with a power cable and HDMI cable. It has other slots you can use for the hookup; you don’t have to use the HDMI cable. It was on sale at a fantastic price when I bought. It is a pretty light and “fragile” monitor. I have a Ben Q attached to my main computer and it has a bunch of hookups, it’s heavy, sturdy, etc. But for my writing station, this monitor is all I need. It’s perfect. I am very pleased. And, as always, HP sent it out promptly and I received it in no time, well packaged.

After a sudden need to replace my HP computer for a new one with Win11, I suddenly realized I was not thrilled with the old basic monitor and decided that should be replaced as well. The new HP monitor is twice the screen width (diagonal) as the old one and presents a much clearer and systematic work surface to complete multitasking operations. This, like HP, is a superior electronic component the the workplace.

The bezel actually popped off a few times for no reason, but it's too much work to send it back. Other than the bezel not being sturdy, it fits great on a VESA monitor setup I have for my WFH office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hardware ruined by terrible software The hardware is great, especially at the discounted price that I purchased the monitor for, but the software experience makes me want to avoid HP gaming monitors in the future. Somehow, probably through Windows automatic driver installation, the Omen Hub installs automatically, and even if you uninstall it just comes back. This is an issue both because I'm using these monitors when I work from home with my work issue laptop, and also because the Omen Hub sometimes resets my color settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible quality and very messy return process I ordered a new monitor and tower in December 2021. That was my first mistake. The order shipped separately, and the monitor arrived first. I expected this, no problem. When the tower arrived at the end of January I set up the computer and was shocked at how bad the picture quality of the monitor was. It was like looking at a CRT monitor from the 1990s. I tried a few different settings and contacted HP support but there was no way to improve it. I asked to send the monitor back and get a refund. Second mistake. It had been over a month since the monitor was shipped, so I "couldn't" return it. What ensued next was a several week long process to get special approval to return the monitor. Never mind that the tower required to use the monitor and assess its quality hadn't arrived (my previous computer was an all-in-one, so no way to plug the monitor in). What a nightmare. Would definitely NOT recommend this monitor, and would strongly caution against ordering a new tower and monitor together online, unless you already have a separate tower and monitor so that you can test out the separate components when they arrive.
