This was a replacement for one I used daily since 2018
IThis was a repurchase of one I used daily since 2018. . The new model is built a little cheaper in materials used but has the same great functionality for me.

Voltage too low from
Underpowered Input Voltage
The output voltage is underpowered. My goal was to have one hub that managed all the laptop inputs. With this undersized power input from the hub to the laptop, I'll have to buy a stronger unit for that input.

Quality Universal Hub Expensive
Universal hub works with 13” 2022 MacBook Pro M2 with Ethernet and backup drive plugged into one of two USB-A 3.2 port and no need for Apple charging adapter. In addition a HDMI port, Tx Display port are also available. Note: a 90W USB Type-C AC charger is required for hub to work. Hub plus charger are rather expensive.

Great hub for limited spaces
It works great. My only gripe is it doesn't have a button to turn my computer on, so I have to open my laptop lid and press it's on/off button. If it had a power button it would be perfect, and better then the big bulky docks.

Possibly 4 but 3 monitors
This universal multiport was everything I needed for using with my work laptop at home. I could actually have up to 4 monitors if I count the laptop screen as one them. But I actually get 3 monitors this USB-C multiport connection!

Make sure your HP model supports USB-C display out
The dock worked fine, but it did not work with the HP Laptop it was intended for. I sent it back.

Does NOT include power cord. Also, not compatible with all HP laptops-- even if recommended by HP.
HP recommended that I purchase this for the HP laptop that I just bought from HP. Unfortunately, it's not compatible with the HP laptop I just bought! Buyer Beware.
But even more importantly, this very expensive hub does not include a power cord. As a "service" to users, HP lets users determine which power cord to buy. Nowhere on the details screen does HP tell users this. Unless you open the Specs and scroll allllll the way down to the very bottom of the list, will you see the phrase "does not include AC adapter." Good luck trying to figure out which power cord to buy. Remember, HP's recommendations are not always compatible with the item you just bought!

No Power Adapter
Overall it works great but a power adapter was not included. I ordered it separately so I wouldn't drain my laptop when using the dock.
