A must have should you buy a G2 docking station!
The extra money to purchase this module for the G2 dock is a must have. Turned my G2 into a conference call center for online meetings. Has capability to be used as a phone should you purchase a phone dialer on your computer.

Incredible addition to G2 Thunderbolt dock
I decided to buy this companion with the purchase of the G2 230W docking station. What a fantastic surprise. I absolutely love the fact that I can use it to make conference calls and attend college online classroom sessions without having to wear a headset. I would strongly recommend the purchase of this item, and installation was seconds and the screwdriver was included.

Great addition to G2 Thunderbolt Dock
If you purchased the HP G2 Thunderbolt Dock without audio, get this add on audio module yo won't be disappointed. Super easy to install. Sounds great. The best way to do Zoom, Skype, etc calls from your PC and it is great for music and videos as well

Speaker is decent, microphone is terrible
Like many of us, I have started working from home and purchased the USB C Universal dock from HP that has been a great addition to my home setup. I purchased this Audio Module hoping that it would also be a great hands free video conferencing solution but have been very disappointed. Numerous times people have not been able to hear me clearly and I have had to switch back to my laptop microphone, cheap headset, etc. It was not worth the money and if I could I would like to return it. That being said the speaker is ok, a step up from my laptop speakers but this was not the main reason I purchased this module. I would much rather have a great microphone, that my colleagues can easily understand, and plug in a set of headphones for audio.

Plug and play, sounds fantastic for the size.
I bought this not expecting much out of the speaker but it surpasses any speaker bar i've used with my office machine. Great for taking jabber calls in my office.
