HP ProBook 4 G1a 14" Notebook - WUXGA - AMD Ryzen 7 250 - 16 GB - 512 GB PC is rated 1.00 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color is Unusable - Red Look Orange These Laptops can't display pure red, it comes out orange. I tried talking to HP support including reinstalling drivers, adjusting settings and reinstalling Windows 11. In the end I ran a Calibrite Colorimeter calibration on it, which confirmed it has an atrocious gamut <65% sRGB. I didn't know screens this bad were still made, especially not on mid-grade business laptops. We bought two of these and they both show the same issue. I am stunned and disappointed! To add insult to injury one of the laptop serials is not recognized on the HP Support site, I can copy and paste it right from the shipping email or type it in from the back of the laptop, same result "please enter a valid serial". Terrible. Additionally the speakers sound like tin cans, No Bass at all. When I close it it doesn't seem to sleep (the fans are still running and it's putting hot air out the back). This is bottom of the barrel engineering- engineered to be as cheap to make as possible and sold at a price well above what it's worth.
