Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disaapointed so far I bought this a few days ago as a replacement for HP-15C calculator that I used for 35 years. This calculator did not come with a user's manual. All I want to do is to perform some quick scientific calculation and so far I am not happy. Plus the wireless connection is only good for a PC and I have an Apple system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful (Usage history - 15c, 48gx, 50g, 35s) This abomination doesn’t know whether it’s a phone or a calculator: (1) on a calc, the interface is with keys, I don’t like putting my fingers on the screen. (2) the key color scheme is hard to read (3) the split between number calculation and CAS is ridiculous, makes the machine essentially unusable (4) documentation is horrible (5) the rechargable battery life is unknown ; on all other calcs battery change is simple, have an extra set handy and you’re good to go. (6) to sum up, this is NOT an engineer’s calculator; If you want an advanced calc with a CAS, stick with the 50g.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A slight advance over an HP48GX. I bought an HP Prime in December 2017 as a collectors item and as an opportunity to see Hewlett Packard's very best effort at developing the art of the hand held scientific calculator. As a calculator, the HP Prime matches and exceeds an HP48GX but these days the limitation is I don't have enough time to read the Prime documentation.Another limitation is I have found no third party support group, so far, where I might learn how to make a serial data connection to a Linux laptop, or perhaps read data from an Arduino front end data collection device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product What a great calculator!!! Still have lots to learn, but, quickly determined that it more than meets my requirements. I also own the Android emulator and found that I prefer using the calculator over the Android tablet HP Prime emulator. Was surprised to find that the HP Prime calculator battery will out last the android tablet running the Prime emulator. Keep up the great work HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right Calculator for Engineers and Students. Easy and Intuitive. Within a week I've learned to do in HP Prime everything I was used to in my previous (HP-41CX), including programming. It is much more powerful than I could expect. It's a real palmtop calculation computer. Graphing is amazing. Calculus, Geometry and Algebra are solved with a couple of clicks. Moreover, Connectivity Kit (to computer) works faultlessly and as fast as the calculator itself. It allows firmware updates, new apps installation, remote operation, viewing parameters and variables, as well as helping a lot for typing large programs and for acquiring screenshots.Last, but not least, offers very well conceived exam mode, making it possible to use it during tests and exams.Honestly I'm impressed. I guess there's still a lot to learn from it. And every new feature I learn drives me excited to learn the next one.Great. Congratulations to HP Calculators Development Team.
