Great Printer!
I bought and received this printer yesterday, August 16, 2023. Installation was a breeze after downloading and installing the software. Connected thru wireless in 10 minutes. Blazingly fast. Two-sided printing works flawlessly. Buy it.

Prints great - when hardwired to computer
I have had a series of problems attempting to print wirelessly on my home network. At first I thought it was Norton 360, but even with that disabled the printer is shown offline. I have tried removing the printer and reinstalling all the software with the same result. Getting by with hardwiring the printer to my PC.

Easy to setup and use
This printer was delivered as promised as a sample to review. Setup via download went smooth and I immediately proceeded to print a 30 page document without a hiccup. So far using black and white only and documents come out clear and legible. Not a lot of noise and not too big for home office use.

Great printer!
I should mention that I was sent a free sample to give this review. I set up was great. Super easy and quick! The only improvement I’d love to see is the addition of colorful ink! Other than that, ITS GREAT! I love that it’s wireless, and any item on my wifi can print directly to the printer.

Better Than Expected!
This is a great home/office printer that has enough features to make it feel more expensive than it is. I received this printer as a free sample to review. This printer is meant to make everything a breeze to accomplish, from the initial setup, to loading the paper, to changing ink cartridges. This printer is also compatible with HP Instant Ink. Wi-Fi ready and print wirelessly from your smartphone.Print almost anything with confidence and ease. I would recommend this printer for first time printer owners to more advanced printer operators.

This machine was the worst printer I have ever purchased from hp. Returned it. After 250 prints it stopped feeding paper. On off button on worked part of the time. Hp stood behind and gave a full refund 5 stars to them.

Nice Printer
Well, I really like this printer. Black n white...all I need. Its fast and I can print from my phone, tablet & laptop. For the dont likes. Four different web sites or apps to deal with. Downloads are a mess, wifi only connects if you use WPS and other than a couple features on the web sites its useless. One web site shows my printer the others dont. I would think with the tech world we live in this would be much easier. But, it is what it is. The printer gets the five stars because I like it. I used one a couple models above this one and it worked and lasted a long time. This is perfect for my situation but Im disappointed with some features not being available. I hope HP gets it together.

IF you can get it set-up correctly, it's awesome!
As a homeschooler, I do A LOT of printing. I received an HP LaserJet Pro 2001dw Wireless Printer to review. I'm a huge fan of HP. I was currently working with a HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, so this one was smaller and more space efficient, which I loved. I also don't love printing a lot in color (because it is expensive), so having this LaserJet only print black and white was nice. But if you needed color printing, this isn't the printer for you.
After unboxing, which was a breeze, I attempted to connect the printer to my computer/wifi to print wirelessly. This was a huge fail (and my biggest complaint about this printer). I spent hours trying and trying to figure out how to make it print. I tried to contact HP but kept getting redirected to YouTube videos that didn't help or back to their website. I gave up and came back the next day, and I finally figured out how to get the HP Smart Printing screen on my computer, but I can only manage to print PDF's from that screen. I can't print anything else. I did print quite a few PDFs (thanks, Math Curriculum!) and the printing quality is great - and very fast! It's not too noisy, and it sits nicely in the tray as opposed to hanging over like most printers.
Overall, the PRINT QUALITY was 5 stars for me. The look and aesthetic was 5 stars. The speed and sound were 5 stars.
The setup was 0 stars and the product support in this experience was 0 stars.
So, in a perfect world, if it had been a breeze to setup, this would have been a 5 star review. But the fact that I still can't print anything except PDFs from the HP Smart App is a big, BIG flaw for anyone who doesn't have an IT department to help them figure out setup.
I'm averaging the final grade to 2 stars (but only for the print quality based on what I was able to print).

I got this printer due to Linux compatibility and have been impressed by how it operates (the quite mode) as well as the web based interface.

I received a free sample of this printer to review. Overall, it's a good printer. It was easy to setup and connect. The print speed is very fast and the quality is really nice. The only thing is that it only prints black and white, no color print. If you only need black and white printing, then this is a great printer to use.

Love the fast speed and wireless capabilities!
I received a free HP LaserJet Pro printer for review and it works much better than regular ink printers. It printed multiple pages extremely fast and with such high detail. I will only be using laser printers from now on if only for the printing speed and quality. I print lots of shipping labels and product barcodes which require sharp printing in order for the barcodes to scan. This is exactly what I need to run my small business. I just wish it also printed in color, although I don't really need it for my business, it would just be nice to have for any other projects. I also love the fact that it is wireless and connects to WIFI and Bluetooth. It makes it so much easier not having to deal with so many cables.

Great quality
I received a free sample of the HP LaserJet Pro 3001w Wireless Printer. We mostly use it to print school related work and I am impressed with the printing quality. The pages print quickly and without effort. Unfortunately I had a lot of difficulty with trying to connect it to WiFi, so we are using the USB cord in order to print. I tried downloading the software to my computer and after numerous attempts gave up due to time constraints. I'm hoping to get it connected to WiFi so that we will be able to print from multiple devices. Otherwise it would be a perfect rating.

Good Product, No Internet Needed After Setup
This printer replaces my HP1100 from 1999. I needed a faster black and white printer that I can print from my PC or iPhone. I’m happy and it prints duplex. I used a USB cable to complete setup (not included). Other than software download, no internet was required. I was not able to complete setup without the USB cable because my PC does not have Wi-Fi. But otherwise, it’s been great!

Great for a Home Office
I received this printer to use and review and I found it to be super easy to set up, it looks great and makes high quality prints with no smudging. I print a lot working from home and this is perfect! It's lightweight and easy to move. Looks sleek and not big and bulky. Great product and easy to use as well as easy setup.

Difficult set up
I received this printer as a free sample. I have only had it for a short amount of time. The set-up was a little difficult. When I first plugged it in and turned it on there was and error message that the toner and paper were in error. I tried to check both the paper tray and the toner. I turned the printer on and off a few times. I unplugged the power source twice. I was about to pack it up and send it back. I finally got the error message to clear after I unplugged it from the wall for about a minute and plugged it back in. It then was working fine. I also had a difficult time installing the drivers to my laptop. I am finally able to print using the Smart Print option. It prints smoothly and quickly. I have not printed multiple copies. I really like that it automatically does double-sided prints without me having to reenter the paper. Overall, once I got over the initial set-up it was okay. I like that I now have a high yield printer at home to make copies for my work (teacher). I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

I received the printer - as a free sample, in exchange for reviewing it. Overall, this is probably NOT the printer I would like to keep, or to even recommend. First, the Positives: 1. Very quick printing. 2. Good-quality prints. 3. Easy paper loading. The Negatives: 1. The delivery of the printer was unprofessional, In fact, I nearly missed it. The delivery driver has carelessly left the box (with the printer) at the lobby of the apartment complex that I live in, without notifying me! Thankfully, our property manager happened to walk by shortly thereafter, and she notified me immediately; so I came downstairs and grabbed the box. However, knowing the spike in thefts & burglaries -- the delivery driver took a huge risk by openly leaving the box in our building lobby. The driver SHOULD HAVE notified me of the delivery. I will be sure to let the market-reserach company / client know about the unprofessional delivery by the driver. 2. No installation disk was provided with the printer; therefore, I was forced to go online and spend very long time on trying to find the proper software, and downloading it. Very time-consuming. 3. The website link to install installation software - was not properly working, an "app" was faulty - and gave me problems. 4. Eventually, I was able to download and install the software (thanks to my technical background), but not without issues and hickups. Very confusing and customer-UNfriendly installation. 5. The user manual is nearly useless, overly vague, and many details are omitted. Thank you.

Great printer but would not connect to internet. Great price & features but could not use wireless
I really like this printer. It is very substantial and does everything I wanted in a printer. However, I could not get it on the internet. I spent alot of time and finally called a friend who works in IT. He too, couldn’t get it to attach. I regretfully returned it. HP has made the return process easy which keeps HP in my stable of favorite companies. When HP solves the connection problem this will be a 5 ?? printer.

Good basic printer
This is a good basic printer. I was able to set it up relatively quickly and was able to print wirelessly from my Mac, PC, and iPhone. I wasn’t able to complete the setup through my phone and had to first set it up on my Mac. You have to download yet more apps to your computer and your phone in order to complete this process. I didn’t search for a driver option, but I am also not interested in printing through USB or Ethernet connections.
It prints quickly and I do like that there is a quiet printing mode. You do have to manually re-feed the sheets if you want to print double-sided but I wouldn’t expect a small printer like this to have to capacity to do this on its own. Overall, this printer will do just fine for my needs, which are mostly just printing shipping labels or work documents. I received this printer as a free sample in exchange for my feedback.

Nothing but agony
We bought a couple of these to have on hand to use as simple USB-connected desktop printers. They are anything but.
When trying to set them up, you will be prompted to use the HP Smart app to register them with HP+, which requires an internet connection, even if you're just trying to use is as a USB-connected printer. As far as I can tell, there is no way to bypass this step, even though HP's website says you can.
Furthermore, one of the units has a glitched out web UI and since there is no way to factory reset it without using the web UI, it's essentially a paperweight.
Another one of the units is working, but is still showing up via WSD Network Discovery on any computer on campus, even though WS-Discovery is disabled in the web UI. This means anyone can connect to the printer and print.
Do yourselves a favor and avoid this printer, and any HP+ focused printer at all costs.

Dead on arrival!
Bought this to replace an older HP printer (HP’s recommended “replacement” model). Unfortunately it was nonfunctional out of the box. The HP app diagnosed a paper tray that wasn’t lifting. I own and have owned multiple HP printers and this is the first one with a moving paper tray. Clearly the mechanism has reliability issues. Annoying but better to fail at the beginning than in 6 months! Also the printer is rather bulky. All in all an underwhelming experience.

A nice upgrade from my work-horse LaserJet 1300 that provided over 15 years of faithful service — unfortunately, the 1300 was no longer compatible with my new computer. The 3001 is quick to print & the double-sided printing option is great.

Love the new printer.
It's a little larger than I was used to; my last HP lasar printer was about half the size, but I love the convenience of a wireless printer, and it certainly is a much faster machine. I love it actually, and we can print from anywhere in the house.

Home office use printer
Simple set up, works great. I connected to my home wi-fi, use AirPrint from my iPhone, no problems, and Mac set up was easy, it found the printer on the network right away. I have had the printer for a month and no connectivity or printing issues.
