But, by then, there were no wireless keyboards to be found. I bought a wired keyboard instead but am not completely happy with it. Some keys are too close together so I press the wrong ones.

The keyboard it came with had a streamline design with a wide hand rest but it was almost impossible for me to type on. The HPK2500 keyboard has a much more classic design and is like typing on a standard keyboard and is an absolute joy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not want to connect I have used this keyboard for less than a week and all of a sudden it did not respond to any text I type. I replaced the battery and nothing works. I went online at hp support trying to get some help hoping it will fix the problem and nothing happened. It exactly what I paid for it. cheap and poor quality is what I received in return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing quality I purchased this keyboard assuming an HP product would be a no brainer, but I was wrong. I found the keyboard to be of poor quality. Some keys required extra pressure to activate which resulted in a lot of mistyping and some of the keys were very noisy with a "cheap" rattle sound when you use them, especially the Enter key on the number pad. I also didn't like the lack of a caps lock light. I returned it and bought a Logitech K270. It was a superior product!

I bought this wireless keyboard, because I had purchased a wireless mouse before, and I loved how I could used the mouse while my laptop was closed after waking from a hibernating or sleep state. Some it was only right to complete the set, and now when my laptop automatically wakes from sleep or hibernation. I can use my wireless keyboard and mouse on the monitor without even opening my laptop. Thanx HP

It is alot more lighter and keys are easy to type and/or message. No USB connection...so easy to move around. Thank you HP for prompt delivery and at a great price.

Full size keyboard, keys have a good "snap" to them which always makes it easier to type for me. Connection and setup was super simple - just plug and play. HP products are usually my go-to because of their quality, and this keyboard is no exception - very satisfied with this purchase.

Its been less than 2 weeks and I have already changed the batteries. Major latency issues with both. I have them both less than 3 feet from their receivers. I'll be sending both back in exchange for Logitech's. I use them for work so I don't have time to mess around with a junk keyboard.

Sometimes it locks up and will not accept any keyed inputs. I had to go back and replace missing letters in this review caused by this keyboard missing keystrokes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Poor Quality and Very Unreliable Extremely poor quality for a company like HP. Very unreliable, easily looses connection with the RF/USB dongle. The first one I received did not work and HP replaced it, incredibly good customer service. I was, however, able to then use the replacement so that I could find out just how bad this keyboard is. I have two other HP wireless keyboards that work perfectly, the K2500 is just a cheap version.

I miss the light that indicated cap lock and it could also use a light for num lock but I don't miss the wire. I do like the volume controls above the number pad.

It wasn't a lot of money, so for the money it's great, just a couple things, like not having a light to show you the Caps Lock or Num Lock is on...but what do you expect for the price. It serves it's purpose.

Contacted HP with the problem and was instantly issued a full refund and return shipping label. Immediately purchased a wired keyboard and am currently awaiting its arrival. I anticipate better results, never was a big fan of wireless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, cheap, doesn't work. Product was fine for about 2 weeks, before the issues started. I'll start with the quality of the materials, cheap plastic garbage. The cheap plastic allowed the keyboard's feet that allows height adjustment to break so easily. Next issue would be that frequently when typing, the keyboard stops registering the key presses. I'm not sure why this is happening unless the internal electronics and/or Bluetooth module is poorly made. Last issue is not really an issue but more of an annoyance, but it would be nice to have a place near the battery compartment to store the USB when traveling or moving. The take away is do not buy this keyboard unless you can deal with broken tabs and frequent key press issue.

I also have an HP Pavilion 400 wireless keyboard which I use when composing documents. One can really fly when using this flat key keyboard, I like it as well.

After unboxing and using it, The"m", "o", and the "up" arrow key needed to be pressed several times in order to register. I've never had problems with HP products before. I ended up replacing the HP and throwing away the faulty one.

It is so convenient NOT to have my laptop on my lap while sitting on the couch or bed. I will however be going back to order a keyboard with the built in mouse pad.

This time I decided I decided to buy this inexpensive HP keyboard and it is smooth and easy. Set up is so easy. It comes with the battery so all you do is pull the tape out to activate the battery. Insert the small plug into your usb port on your computer and your wireless keyboard is ready. Takes less than 3 minutes to set up. Forget about buying those $45-75 keyboards. This does everything those do ONLY LESS EXPENSIVE.

I took it for granted that this was a common feature on all keyboards. Wrong. Not for this keyboard. How could this left out from a keyboard? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy I run a business and have found in just two weeks that the key sometimes work and sometimes don't. I was working on a spread sheet today and the arrow down key would work normally the all of a sudden drop to the bottom of the page. Very frustrating when working on a large spread sheet.

It's a computer I don't use often but, still every so often. I'm so grateful that HP still make s a keyboard compatible with Vista Software. Easy install & works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Caps indicator First, for $15, you can get a better keyboard, even if you buy a used keyboard. And, I recommend you do. Number one, the tactile feedback is towards the "lacking side". It is definitely NOT for speed typists. I cannot count the number of times I have had to go back and retype this review because a letter was dropped. I am not even a fast typist...40WPM at best. But, the worst fault of the keyboard is that there is no indicator of CAPs! Not on the board, which is understandable, to extend the life of the keyboard. But, often I find myself typing long paragraphs, not realizing I fat-fingered the CAPs Lock when hitting the shift key. At least have the CAPs key have a discernible click to indicate it was pressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Wires! I had entirely too many wires for my little hutch-like computer desk. Computer, keyboard, printer and telephone wires --plus others. This removed one of my more troublesome wires. The keyboard has the volume on it so I don't have to find on screen. I am totally happy with this keyboard.
