Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest return ever. Screen was too small for my needs. HP was great at making the return easy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure how to rate I purchased this computer to replace an Elitebook x360 1030 G3. I discussed at length with the HP sales people to make sure I was purchasing as close to the "same" computer as possible from a specification standpoint, but just more current. (I was literally looking for the exact computer) The functionality of the laptop seems fine, the screen display is crisp and much better, but a big issue for me is that this computer is physically much smaller than the old computer. The lit display itself is the same, which I guess must be where they get the measurements, but the body is about an inch smaller. Where this is an issue is that with the old computer, my entire hand and upper wrist could rest on the computer. With this new computer, the edge of the computer hits the bottom of my hand, with no wrist support at all. I'm having to hold my fingers closer to my palms which has been cramping my hands a bit. This is a nuance for sure, as the size difference is about the distance of a line of keys on the keyboard, but when you use a computer for 10-12 hours a day, this kind of matters. The touchpad and keys also seem to require more pressure compared to my other as well (I actually have both computers side by side comparing). If any of these things trouble you, make sure you evaluate the physical body measurements and not just the screen. I'm terribly disappointed that I did not get the correct size machine, particularly given my dialogue and advice from 4 separate sales people, and the fact this is a $2K+ computer. One other note, the hard drive only shows 477K GB, not 512K. If there is additional space somewhere, I can't find it. I'm conflicted with how to rate this as I'm confident the computer will have strong performance (this is my 3rd Elitebook), but for the comfort factor, honestly I'm not happy.
