Rated 5 out of 5 by from So unfair The charging port was not functioning, and the screen had a dent. I had to send the laptop back to HP before they would send a replacement. Since it was a custom build, HP has had my $2,323 for over 60 days, but I still don't have a laptop, which has completely interrupted my business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A for the laptop, F for HP The laptop gets 5 stars - it's beautiful, fast, has excellent battery life, and is the perfect size for me. But as a first-time HP buyer, I will really have to think about whether I shop with them again. The PC showed up several days later than the original ETA, and it was shipped with the SIM card tray missing. Not knowing this, I looked for instructions on how to insert the SIM card into the slot, and ended up just going for it. My SIM card got stuck, and I had to send the PC back to HP for warranty service after explaining clearly what I needed to HP support. On the service slip, I wrote that the PC had no SIM card tray and needed one. I also needed them to get my (active) SIM card out of the slot, and I asked for it to be returned to me. After missing their own deadline again, HP sent the PC back to me, still without a SIM card tray, and with my card missing. I called support again, and after 90 minutes on the phone, the lead had left for the day, and I was told to check back in the next week. In the meantime, I have emailed the suggested address twice to check on my deadlines and request faster return shipping as a small reparation for a bad experience on a laptop that cost nearly $2K, but there has been no response. Today I am approximately 70 days past the original estimated delivery date, and I still do not have the ability to use the PC's WWAN/cellular service as advertised. HP clearly does not care about its customers other than revenue - this has been evident every step of the way. I strongly caution anyone looking to purchase from HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Except Fingerprint Sensor Doesn't Work Everything works great except the fingerprint sensor. That doesn't work. I tried dowwnoading a driver and whatever else ChatGPT recommended. Still doesn't work. Otherwise, the machine is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electrical Engineer - I ordered a spare power cord when I ordered the elitebook, the cord that came didn't work for this device. I gave it away. - Every now and then the ports on the side of the elitebook quit working (the remote mouse or charging things) then comes back a couple days later. Not sure about that yet?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cameras are a mess I bought this two weeks ago after exhaustive research to find a laptop that could handle my many zoom needs. The camera - a polycam pro - has a beautiful picture. However, the image lags behind the audio by at least a second, so it's a disaster on zoom. There is a second camera - the HP5mp - that has a TERRIBLE image quality, but the audio syncs fine. So, I am left with a hard choice. I can't seem to get any support on this. Other things to look out for: the keyboard takes getting used to. Because of the number pad, it is not centered over the touch pad. This means your hands have to shift left and your right palm is constantly hitting the touch pad and jumping the cursor around. Bad design. Also, the screen is a bit more square than horizontal, fyi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built but screen brightness is TERRIBLE! Well built laptop BUT the screen brightness (or lack thereof) is VERY disappointing even after using calibrating process. Would not recommend because of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard Drive Crash Two days after receiving this product and in the middle of the initial setup and downloading of software, the hard drive crashed and needed to be completely replaced. Completely disappointed right from the start; hoping there aren't any issues moving forward with the newly installed hard drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warranty expired I got the computer and support said the warranty expired 10 months ago. I had a service package they didn’t show. After multiple calls I got to someone who corrected the issue. Sounded like they are reusing serial numbers in there support system. Very irritating and if I had checked on the warranty I wouldn’t had known until I had an issue which would have been a bigger issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Computer Very Poor Customer Service both online and in-person. The computer itself is a great computer. The experience of buying it was lousy! I have several accounts over several HP domains. I have been attempting to consolidate them or get rid of old one and all of the automated logins that go with them. It takes forever to get to a sales rep,if you get to one at all, that understands your needs and can pair you with a computer that does what you want it to do. I spent four hours yesterday on hold waiting to register my new computer since it can not be found in the system. I finally got disgusted and hung up, so my computer is not registered. Not playing around with an AI prompt system to get to an actual English speaking and understanding rep would be a better option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my EliteBook 860 Love the EliteBook 860, especially the touch screen (which helps me move quickly through large documents) and the large display. Given that they eliminated the mouse button in the middle of the keyboard, I use a external Logitech ergonomic mouse, which, along with the touchscreen option, makes navigating seamless. The computer is super fast and integrates great with my HP enterprise and local printers. Highly recommend it.
