HoverCam Orbit MediCam is a wireless 13MP medical documentation camera designed for sterile compounding pharmacies, hospital cleanrooms, pharmaceutical preparation, and clinical workflows. It delivers detailed 4K live and still imaging while wirelessly transmitting video and images to the connected workstation, eliminating the need for a USB video cable between the camera and computer.
Orbit MediCam uses HoverCam’s proprietary encrypted DEEP wireless connection with an included USB-C receiver and integrates with Epic Dispense Prep and other EHR/EMR platforms through the included MediCam Toolkit. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours of wireless operation, enabling cable-free use and flexible placement around the workspace. The articulated camera makes it easy to capture syringes, vials, labels, barcodes, lot numbers, expiration dates, volume markings, and other critical documentation from multiple angles. Designed for demanding clinical environments, Orbit MediCam is compatible with optional MediGuard disposable barrier sleeves.
