In response to growing state mandates requiring the secure storage of student cellphones during school hours, Higher Ground has developed a purpose-built solution to help schools maintain focus and limit distractions.

The Higher Ground VaultED™ pouch is designed with both functionality and security in mind. It features our easy-to-clean CleanShell™ fabric and integrated RF shielding to block cellular and wireless signals, preventing unauthorized device use or notifications during class. A high-decibel Velcro® closure alerts staff to unauthorized access attempts, while the integrated ID window ensures quick identification and assignment. The durable, wipe-clean surface and D-ring attachment (to clip to an optional lanyard or bag) make it practical for everyday school use.

Unlike competing products which rely on a physical lock and dongle system, VaultED™ prioritizes security without sacrificing accessibility. Locking mechanisms have been able to be compromised by students, which may result in permanent damage to the pouch. Additionally, the daily unlocking process may require students to wait in line at designated exit points, slowing dismissal and creating unnecessary bottlenecks.
