The HID DESfire EV3 + Prox Security Smart Card ensures a smooth migration from 125 kHz-based systems to a secure credential technology. It secures card data with the implementation of DESFire EV3 toolbox. It features portable Secure Identity Object data model for added key diversification, authentication signatures and encryption. DESFire EV3 credentials offer full backwards compatibility with EV1 and EV2 based solutions. It supports read/write identification using 125 kHz contactless technology.
