The Hawking PN9235 Broadband DSL/Cable Router with built-in 4-port 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Switch provides a cost-effective means of sharing a high-speed DSL/Cable connection with your LAN (Local Area Network) for simultaneous Internet access. The PN9235 works along with your existing DSL/Cable modem to provide the perfect solution for connecting a group of PCs to a Broadband Network.

Using a single ISP user account, this router allows multiple computers to share the same broadband Internet connection at no additional cost for both static IP and Dynamic PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol Over Ethernet). More specifically, up to 254 users can simultaneously access the Broadband DSL/Cable Internet using just a single IP account. The PN9235 only requires one ISP account and one Internet address (supplied by your DSL/Cable provider) to allow every computer on your network to simultaneously access the Internet through your DSL/Cable modem.

The Hawking Broadband DSL/Cable Router is packed with features. It utilizes Dynamic NAT (Network Address Translation) to expand your existing network without affecting existing IP based account schemes. It supports Visible Computer and Port Mapping technology to allow you to host and remotely access Web, Email and FTP servers. A NAT natural firewall is created that hides your network to protect against outside intruders and that is not all. The PN9235 has a built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) that utilize DHCP Server for your LAN and DHCP Client for your WAN. Therefore, there is no need to configure each IP address. It also supports PPTP/VPN (Point to Point Protocol Tunnel Protocol/Virtual Private Network) Pass through that allows you to access your information safely over the Internet.

Managing the PN9235 is simple as well. The Windows-based Web management makes it easy to configure from anywhere using any networked PC’s web browser. This Broadband DSL/Cable Router can also be easily firmware upgraded using your Telnet or TFTP connection. Furthermore, it is compatible with all standard Internet applications and can be connected to any 10Mbps or 100Mbps network.
