Good Job (again) Gumdrop
After my son’s iPad 10.2 suffered a broken screen using another company’s “rugged” case, I went to back to Gumdrop. I shouldn’t have waited for his to break before doing this. These guys at Gumdrop understand that "stuff happens" & they make a very resilient and durable case that can take some real hard, real life, bumps and drops. This is my family’s 3rd Gumdrop case in 7 years and I must say, the thick silicone wrap surrounding the perimeter-frame is a winner to safeguard these iPads. I've never had one bust (yet) with a Gumdrop case. Hope they can continue to make these thick cases for the BIG 12.9” iPad Pro 4th gen’s soon. In my experience, Gumdrop makes the most durable, ergonomic and protective case available for the Apple iPad. Sure some other cases look high-tech and innovative, and this one may not be slimmest nor filled with 2 dozen lack luster & wonky features - but don’t let that dissuade you. We must all choose a case on our own factors and priorities, but if protecting your tablet is the prime concern - I think you’ll fare well with one of these. This has been my experience. Good job (again) Gumdrop … keep up the good work & continue this legacy with more great cases for future Apple iPads!
