Bad Charger
I have bought two extra of these and had one in my original purchase of a Yeti 6000. The original charger over heated and stopped working. My sister had the same problem with her unit and was told by customer service the over heating was a common problem. We both bought two additional chargers one to use and one for stand by when the one being used burns out. We both love our Yeti 6000. The generator is a great product, but the charger is crap. When I called customer service & tech support I was told there is no repair system at Goal Zero and the only option was to purchase additional chargers. I got the impression Goal Zero really was not concerned about producing such a bad product.

Needs complete revamp
The unit itself works, but the expansion tanks will not charge the Yeti. I've been dealing with this for months now, no resolve. Losing confidence in these products. My power goes out at least 2 times a week, just last night, 12 hours, I really need a reliable system!!!!

600 W of untaped power.
Get the brand new 600 W charger for your 1500X it will charge in a mirror few hours versus 11 or 12. If you see the size of it you’ll know why they had to charge a premium price. It’s built like a tank is heavy as any brick you’ll ever find it needs to be. It’s out 600W. What a power supply just get it

My Yeti X600W power supply arrived quickly which minimized the down time of my Yeti 6000. Plugged it in and it worked great right out of the box! My original power supply broke after only a couple of years and the replacement is expensive.

Burly power supply
This thing is a little scary compared to the stock power supply. No instructions but you have to plug it into different ports. At least that seemed to work. Good thing the cables are fairly long since this is the kind of thing you don't want to use with an extension cord. I really wish the power switch had a pilot light somewhere. I have to check the power bank itself to see if it is working. And yes, I did need the firmware update. Charging well, now. I made it sure it's exposed to the air and the fan isn't blocked.

Run for less than 24 hours and died.
things failed, maybe 24 hours of runtime on it. Not happy, don't want to spend $200 for a replacement. GoalZero should step up, emailed them a no response. Zero watts coming out of it, double checked with DMM, light on switch doesn't even come on.

Power Supply broke the first time I used it!
This 600W power supply deserves the one-star rating. I bought the deluxe system 3 years ago, and when my power went out 2 months ago, the battery powered my house beautifully. When I tried to recharge, the unit kept shutting off after 1-2 minutes. Four different calls to tech support, and now I know it is a crappy power supply as the culprit. I am buying the lower-powered charger which also has a higher star rating. I am very unhappy with this power supply!

Works on 3000x
I am off the grid and use the boulder panels to recharge my Yeti 3000x. However, when the skies are cloudy, solar doesn't work.. (duh) Using the 600w plugged into my gas generator juices the 3000 back up in 4-6 hours. I run a Starlink satellite dish/router and a small refrigerator. (And charge cell phones, laptops, etc..). I usually see just over 500w - 545w input. The only reason for 4 stars is that the 200w (?) that came with the 3000 is, to me, useless, so this is a required add, and therefore additional expense that I wasn't planning on needing.

Works great if needed and used properly
Depending on your application you may not need this. I was using the 1500 to power a pump and two compressors. Even with the 10A car charger I only get about 5.5-6 hours from a full charge. The 600W supply allowed me to not only completely recharge overnight. but recharge about half way during 1.5-2 hour pit stops. This will heat up the battery considerably. Do not use in a car with the windows up or while the battery is covered.

The best charger available. Hands down.
I am beyond happy. It arrived ahead of schedule. I plugged it in, my yeti 1500 was dead in the water. It was completely charged in 4 hrs. Amazing... Will be ordering my solar plugs next. Thank Yeti

Good, when it works
It worked as it should the first two charges. After that, the maximum output hovers between 187-198 watts. With me waiting for my Yeti 1000x to charge in 6 hours instead of 2. I can’t find any information for troubleshooting this issue. It’s frustrating as it’s hardly been used.

Best extra buy
Saves me so much time if I’m in a hurry. Well worth the money when I have land power. The one neg I have is I can’t use a extension cord to charge and being a nomad this can be an issue in bad weather. Suggest it comes with a longer cord or the ability to buy one (10 ft) but I know longer cords can be an issue.

Found where FedEx delivered the package yesterday, and we have the power pack plugged in. It's charging great!! works great with my battery pack. Now I'm not so scared to lose my electricity. My battery pack is charged and can run my oxygen... thank you yeti!!

Buyer Beware
Worked one time and then no more. Customer support with the RMA and return process is a joke. Been 3 months, they have my broke one and now and cannot even get a customer service rep on the phone the last 5 days.
