The high power connector unit was melted inside you couldn’t tell from the outside if there was a failure

Keeping an outdated Yeti battery charged.
My new go to setup is an EcoPro Delta with additional smart battery and a 400 watt solar panel. The yeti takes 4 times as long to charge so I use it as a phone charger while camping.

Goal Zero rocks
I use my goal zero power stations at my off grid cabin in Alaska. I also traveled on a 9 month road trip and they charged from my cars 12v outlet and from the solar panels. I recently bought a sherpa and yeto charger to plug into my house when I got home because I forgot where I had put my other one. I am upgrading my camper and hitting the road again and you can be sure my goal zero equipment is going too.

OEM Charger
Somehow we lost our wall charger for our Yeti 1250. Even though that’s not a current model, we were able to get one from Goal Zero. Superior customer service!

Seems to work for now
After my third Yeti 1000 failed, this time just outside of the warranty period, Goal Zero suggested I buy a new power supply. I did and now the Yeti charges once again. I don't know why the original power supply failed so soon. Goal Zero said it was a common occurrence. I wonder how long until I have to buy another one.

It works
I got my generator second hand. Wasn’t included. It’s way necessary to keep batteries in good health. This is so much more convenient for me to walk charge vs solar. Def less cool factor than solar, but it just makes sense.

A New Charger for my Yeti 1250!
Wall Charging my Yeti 1250 isn't as exciting as a PV Array, but it keeps both the internal and chained batteries topped off and ready for adventures.
