The Gamber-Johnson Lind Low Profile Shut Down Timer protects the automobile battery from over-discharge. It turns off electrical loads at a preset time after the engine is shut down or when the battery is discharged to a low voltage level. This timer enables low-voltage shutdown at 10.5 VDC and high-voltage shutdown at 18 VDC, with auto reset. It gets automatically activated by sensing the battery voltage (battery not charging = timer ON). Time is adjustable from 5 seconds to 4 hours.
