NetTool includes a cable-testing capability, eliminating the need for a separate basic cable tester. NetTool is capable of simultaneous monitoring network health (frames sent, utilization, broadcasts, errors, collisions) for full-duplex connections. It provides a Problem Log that concisely lists problems detected on the PC and network such as addressing issues, email and web problems. The additional benefits include individual frame counts for both the desktop and the network conversations, and showing protocol mismatches between the PC and the network, with unwanted protocols identification.
