Ink Tank Magic / Connection Difficulties
This printer produces excellent quality black and white / color documents, copies, and photographs. The ink tanks are easier to fill than working with cartridges. It automatically stops filling when full. No need to worry about ink overflow or messes.
However, the initial setup to connect the printer to my Dell computer and Samsung phone were not as seamless as I expected. It was time consuming and frustrating.

Bad new, good news
Hardware start up was real pain. The Dell Service to help me get it all working was superb.
Pain caused by a normal software update that went south - it caused me to have to go (with Dell help) to a 'bitlocker'. Then, this happened, then that happened, Again the hardware startup of both a laptop and a desktop was awful - many many hours just to do simple stuff, the customer service by Dell support folks was very very very well done. I even got several follow-up calls to verify things were still working....

Not a bad printer for the money
seems like a fine printer so far. Set up was not quite as smooth as I would have expected as it took some additional steps to find the menu option for charging the ink. scanner works fine. I found the rear paper load to be a bit strange - the absence of a pull-out tray seems a little off. Also, the display is very small and quite hard to read.

Better than nothing
I bought this unit to replace my old Epson ET-2550. It is not as good as my old unit. It has trouble printing on 10 ml thick paper. I often have to put 1 sheet of 10 ml paper at a time in the feeder, especially when I try to print twice on the same sheet--once for a photo and a second time for text. It also leaves "skid" marks on a portion of 10 ml paper when it grabs it and pulls it into the printer.

Lengthy Setup
I tried using the Epson Smart Panel app to set up the printer but was only able to complete the ink initialization. I could not complete the Wi-Fi setup so called Epson tech support to complete. Spent quite a lot of time setting up the printer.

Epson was in stock, ya now I know why
I only chose this printer because Dell indicated that it was in stock. But that wasn't the truth I found after I ordered it. When it finally arrived, it doesn't come with a manual, Epson is too cheap to PRINT one for its new customers. It can be found online. The setup instructions that do come in the box are very confusing to understand. They don't want you to set up the printer using your laptop, so how are you supposed to download the files it needs?

Great printer, one which won’t quickly run out of ink
I love this product. It is excellent. I haven’t yet needed to get new ink and it’s been over a month. The picture quality is quite nice too!

Smaller than anticipated.
Very nice job of printing. Looking forward to not having to replace ink cartridges so often. I was surprised that it doesn't take up much room either.

Ease of setup with one problem.
Good Printing. Ease to set up and fill ink. The reason I did not give 5 stars was, there was lot of paper jam. Finally figured out there was a plastic tab in the paper feed area. Once I removed it seems to be working. The paper feed is still very loud. So check if you run into this problem. Very lightweight and I like it.

Missing USB port
Printer works fine. But also purchased this because I frequently print from and scan to a USB thumb drive. There is no standard USB drive on this printer. Only an old outdated "USB printer port" which Epson claims to be a USB port. This is misleading and renders this printer/scanner half useless to me. Their solution - they said I could buy a cable adapter which still would not solve this situation.

Haven't used it but set up was easy and it came with what they call 2 years of ink at 150 pages per month. If that turns out to be true then basically the printer was free and I only paid for ink up front so not a bad deal at all as long as the ink lasts.
