Twice as fast as USB3. My mobo is x299 Asus that has onboard a Type C Gen2 port. So much easier and quicker ingesting 4k file in PC. Thanks so much.

Best choice I could find for my MacBook Pros
This card reader offers the USB-C connection that MacBook Pros only offer. It works for SD and microSD card. Its form looks nice, not bulky, and fits really well with my MacBook Pro. I'm happy with this pick.
