Nice backup for the price
Never had a problem with this unit, we've been using this for years on our Ammonia Compressor computer module and it has been solid. I purchased two more for our optic network switches.

What can I say. It's like Insurance. You don't need it till you "need it".
Simply stated, If you don't have a Tripp Lite battery back up for your PC. Think it over and get one.

This has worked great at keeping my cable modem up so that I don't loose my network connections. That makes me very happy. With all the storms that we have had that is a big deal.

Whisper Quiet and hassle free
A no nonsense air-cooled unit. No internal wiring to connect unlike a chief competitor's UPS units. Just grab, charge for 24h and go.

Yeaah... but that monitoring software. :-(
It seems a good unit with great specifications, and I've never gone wrong buying Tripp-Lite. But the monitoring software (JavaScript) is horrendously difficult to use. If they could only fix that, it would be a six star review.

JUST GET ONE. YOU NEED ONE.
I was not aware of the different types of UPS available. Come to find out, in our city where electrical service is dicey, I actually needed THIS TYPE of UPS. I've been a TrippLite customer for many years. I anticipate and expect that this product will be as robust and reliable as anything else I purchased from them.
