Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would may purchase another one for my TV. I replaced the old B*****, it gave me 18 years of service. This Tripp-Lite will handle the newer internet speeds up to 2.2Gig. I can protect my coax feed to my modem, wireless router, as well as the power supplies and my POE camera feeds. It was fairly easy to mount on the wall, just opposite all of my equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tripp Lite Protect It! on the job. I bought 2 Protect It! surge protectors with 8 outlets for our TV's. High joule protection was a big factor in my decision. Lifetime warranty is great and the ability to check the protection status at a glance. Since the old surge protectors were older than I can remember, the new Tripp Lites ease my mind here in the lightning capitol of America. (Gulf Coast Florida)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We had a lightning strike last year and bought this product because it allowed ethernet protection which we did not have previously. Very few products seem to have this capability. We also liked the joules rating and the number of available outlets. It is also compact and keeps the cords neatly under the desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS IS GENUINE PROTECTION Quite frankly, there really isn't any better protection for your television and other audio/video stuff. I have two of these and I have confidence in their level of protection. The cost of this product is extremely reasonable considering the level of protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been looking for wellmade well-designed model - this is it For protection and power to my desk computer with printer and monitor. I did not use the Modem/Coax/Ethernet jacks because the cable is not long enough as computer and phone outlets are in separate rooms. I had another company's model but now they do not make them they used to. This model is sturdily made unlike the thin encasing that seem to be the standard produced by other companies. Very pleased with it. Considering getting another for another desk computer and or laptop and a couple of desk lamps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working just fine This surge protector was purchased to protector our computers, monitors, attached audio and modem equipment. We're in Northern California, where public safety power shutoffs have been historically random and haphazard, as well as hazardous to electronic equipment. I have used my inverter generator infrequently as well, and thus far this surge protector has functioned without a hiccup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind protection Added this to my battery backed cable modem & wifi router to protect the network and cable lines that were otherwise unprotected. Small price to pay for peace of mind during the severe thunderstorms such as we had that did damage one piece of equipment. Hopefully no more future damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wished I knew these had a life span before This is a new device to replace an older surge protector that had turned into a power strip without my knowledge. Just learned that these devices have a lifespan and had a power surge take out my receiver and cable box. I bought this particular one since it defaults to not working rather than just loosing protection and having to rely on an led (behind my entertainment center) to tell me I'm protected. I'd rather have the inconvenience of my devices not working all of a sudden because I need a new surge protector than have to drop $500 on a new receiver that had been working without being protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will continue to buy your products. We had a tree come down about five miles from the house. Every one in our area lost appliances, clocks, coffee pots and mini splits. Everything we had plugged into your surge protectors were fine. We had five surge protectors pop, yet not one item plugged into one of your surge protectors was harmed. Thank you for your GREAT product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Joules & clamping (330/400/400V) are excellent; 10' cord OK solution for our second home office, though the cord is longer than needed. We had to go with a somewhat longer cord, due to the angle of the cord where it exits the right-angle plug; but we did not need 10 feet. Joules and clamping voltage (330/400/400V) are excellent. We don't need all the outlets, nor the Coaxial/Ethernet/2-line modem/fax surge protection, but we had to get this unit for cord length and level of protection. It hasn't yet been tested by a surge, but so far, so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would buy that product again and again I mainly use it with my computer, modem, router, and printer. Due to the thunderstorm season, we have around here to many power failure and outages (3 since June 1st.) it seems that it's holding up perfectly during last week outage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bang-for-the-buck surge protector Using this for my computer setup (gaming PC, monitor, modem+router, TV). Outlets are nicely spaced for all the different plugs. Build quality is solid and looks quite discrete tucked into the bottom of my desk (I love tidy cable management). Would love it if there was a shorter cord (5-6ft) version of this exact one but the extra long cord may come in handy some day. The surge protection rating is just the extra peace of mind for all of my equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Already planning on purchasing a second one. This product is the best I came across searching for Lightning Protection on top of surge protection, at least from what could find from Tripp-Lite...most of my house is protected by Tripp-Lite and I don't plan on that changing anytime soon. When I called with some questions about what they would protect, lets just say for simplicity sake they were so confident nothing would get zapped through this even if I was hit by lightning...they almost shrugged it off as whatever you wanna plug in within the limits of safely so the device could still do its job. That is reassuring...considering they weren't blowing me off, they just didn't seem very concerned it could possibly happen. If there was anything I would change, I wish it could do 10/100/1000 for ethernet (and came with two cords lol) instead of just 10/100 but i'm not knocking off a star for something I was well aware of and the one cord was a bonus as it is. It has enough voltage for my entire PC setup I run through an SU1500XLCD, without all the mass amount of bells and whistles, but none the less...you won't be lacking for juice on a 15 amp breaker to say the least. Port covers are extremely nice and seem solid, it can be wall mounted like most of their surge protectors. Even came with a phone line, which I suppose would be nice if you own a fax. Not much else to say in all honesty...great product, great company. I can't think of any reason NOT to buy this, unless you need a faster ethernet port protected desperately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice design Does all you could ask for, plus avoid the unwieldy nature of many surge protectors. The three "wall wart" spaced outlets on the one side seal the deal. All this, and a cord that's long enough for the widely spaced outlets in my older home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Power Strip/ Surge Suppressor It has five regular outlets and three transformer outlets all with child safety covers. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and practical The best thing about this surge protector is that it has little things that set it apart. The electrical outlets have slide covers so things can't get into the unused sockets. It has a plugs and outlets for a network line, telephone line and coaxial line as well. Plus it has lights to let you know that your lines are grounded and the switch is "on". I am currently using two: one for my home theater system and the other for my computer equipment. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatility for an amazing price We've owned four of the TLP810NET surge suppressors for nearly a year now, and have had zero problems with them. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for a versatile surge suppression solution without having to break the bank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value to price/protection ratio 02/02/18 - I found the Tripp-Lite 8 outlet surge protector modem/coax/internet protection RJ-45 to be well made and present an excellent value to cost/protection ratio. Appropriate spacing of the outlets for use of small power supplies, and phoneline and cable coax protection against voltage surges use accommodates a variety of plug-in requirements. Very pleased with the overall construction of the unit and the length of the power cord, with the flat wall plug. Tks! Roger Bell USA

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product easily handles the components needed to keep my office running smoothly. The Tripp Lite TLP810NET was purchased for an office. We have had it for 21 months without any problems. Living in an area that has frequent thunderstorms in the summer months, we needed a good surge suppressor. It's a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Equipment Protections for a Small Price! Love the design and its features go into it. It comes with an extra long cord which makes connection much easier. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has almost all the features I need I would have preferred to have two coaxial cable in-outs so I could also protect my cable TV; since there is only one, I am using it to protect the connection to my cable modem. My telephone is in another room so the telephone protection port does me no good. Otherwise, I bought it for the high level of power protection, higher than the others on the market. I will depend on it to protect my new DELL desktop computer and TOSHIBA external back-up hard drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well constructed - easy use The product obviously is well constructed upon taking it out of the box. The connections are easy and the internal safeguards seem more than adequate. And, the price is quite satisfactory. The warranty for the product itself is fine and the warranty for equipment connected to this product seems fine also. Just be certain to register the warranty within 30 days of purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product This product has many nice features, except for the fact that it is a pain in the rear to mount. If you want to mount it to the wall, find another product. The "Key holes" are very small and nearly impossible to mount. Otherwise good product without issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would buy that product again and again I mainly use it with my computer, modem, router, and printer. Due to the thunderstorm season, we have around here to many power failure and outages (3 since June 1st.) it seems that it's holding up perfectly during last week outage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great It's everything I want, with a little bit more, you can't go wrong having all things into one unit. Plus the sockets are spaced out so there's room enough for the big plug in things. I really like it. Not to mention the long cord, and the joules, did I say "GREAT"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new Tripp-Lite saved my computer. I live in a rural area and have a electric co-op as my utility provider. I have multiple power outages yearly and power surges caused by demand spikes and lightning to ground strikes often. I owned a Tripp-Lite surge protector for 5 years which finally was tripped so many times its internal warning system started to beep constantly telling me its protection was failing due to just plain being worn out from doing its job. Not once in dozens of surge protection activation did my Tripp-Lite fail to save my equipment from damage. Bought another Tripp-Lite surge protector to replace the worn out unit confident it will work just as well, and I was proven correct, as the power surges have continued and my equipment is still undamaged.

It blew but all my stereo, amp, TV, DVD players, etc .that were plugged in it are all ok. The unit was replaced free under warranty. What more can anyone want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Protection is what I need I live in Florida, the lightning capitol of the United States, and I would be a fool not to protect my expensive electronics with anything but the best, and that's Tripp-Lite. I speak from real experience. On two separate occasions, major lightning surges were stopped dead by my Tripp-Lite equipment. Unfortunately, because the surge was so intense, the Tripp-Lite gear lost it's protection. I contacted Tripp-Lite, and without any hassle what so ever; my Tripp-Lite gear was replaced, and quickly. What more can I say about a company that makes products that do what they are supposed to do, and stands behind them with a warranty that means what it says.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has exceeded my expectations I had a large format printer that had went bad due to some power surges. I replaced the printer and protected it with the 8 outlet surge protector with Ethernet protection. I have been running this for over four months now and had no issues with the protected printer. I would recommend using this on all of your sensitive electronic devices.
