600VA/300W/120V Battery Backup for PCs and Retail Point-of-Sale Applications
The BC600R standby UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise for computing, networking and point-of-sale equipment in retail, kiosks, food service, and light industrial environments. It's easy to set up in minutes. Just plug the BC600R into a properly grounded wall outlet, press the power button and connect equipment to the UPS outlets. For easy access, the input power cable, outlets, power button and status LEDs are all on the same side.
Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
During short blackouts and brownouts, the BC600R switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. This allows you enough time to save data and complete a safe shutdown in case of a longer outage. Incoming utility power keeps the user-replaceable VRLA battery fully charged, so backup power is always available. The BC600R restarts automatically once power is restored, regardless of battery charge level, saving you a costly site visit.
Easy Preventative Maintenance and Initial Troubleshooting
The BC600R's self-test capability and user-replaceable internal battery can extend the life of the UPS and minimize disruption to operations. A resettable circuit breaker helps prevent dangerous system overloads.
Premium Protection from Surges and Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
Rated for 190 joules of surge suppression, the BC600R and its four NEMA 5-15R outlets protect connected devices from the harmful effects of power surges. The BC600R also filters out disruptive electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can destroy data and contribute to lengthy downtime.
Audible Alarm and Diagnostic LEDs Keep You Informed 24/7
An audible alarm and a red LED indicate a low battery or fault condition. A green LED indicates power and line/battery mode status.
Hardened Housing Compatible with Versatile Deployment Options
The rugged compact housing allows use in locations with uncontrolled temperature or humidity (operating temperature range: 32° to 122° F / 0° to 50° C). The BC600R's small size is suitable for desktop or floor placement. Keyhole mounting slots on the bottom enable wall mounting and are spaced in a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for mounting to the back of a monitor with the included hardware. Attachment points allow installation on a shelf or beam with user-supplied cable ties. The five-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet.

great product, one of a kind for my needs.
I have Verizon Fios, and the optical receiver is in a small utility cabinet in a hallway closet, of my apartment. I needed a UPS that was small and could fit in that closet, so I can keep internet going in case of a power outage. This was the only product I could find that fit the bill. I was able to install it in the closet using zip ties. See attached photo. I closed the door. This device does not run hot in that small space. You can also disable the audible alarm if the battery kicks on, which is nice. I may get a second one for my WiFi router which is in another location. I recommended this device to my friends in my building for the same usage case. It is well built, and small enough to mount on a wall, or even on the back of a computer monitor if you want to hide it.

Does the job for which it was purchased
This UPS is used to maintain a cable modem, router/access point and an 8 port switch when the power drops for a moment. It takes 5 minutes to re-establish all the connections when the UPS is not being used, and when it's in place, all devices remain up and usable. I also like the small size because it fits easily into a residential in-wall wiring box. I do wish there was some sort of meter or LED indicator to show the remaining battery charge.
