The Eaton Environmental Monitoring Probe (EMP) Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2) supports the collection of temperature and humidity readings in rack enclosures and monitor environmental data remotely using Eaton's power monitoring solutions or a standard web browser. It is compatible with the Eaton Gigabit Network Card (NETWORK-M2) and Industrial Gateway Card (INDGW-M2). EMPDT1H1C2 can be daisy-chained (up to 3 per host), allowing multiple sensors to connect to a single host.For optimum air intake measurement within an enclosure, EMPDT1H1C2 provides tie wrap mounting options for front and rear door perforation to specifically measure air flow at the intake point. This enhances the richness of rack-level environmental data for the top, middle and bottom of the rack.Each EMP provides one temperature, one humidity, and two dry-contact status data points. Compatible with 5PX G2 and 9SX UPS, the EMPDT1H1C2 features a translucent case and integrated LED to positively identify the status of each sensor at a glance while walking the aisles.
