If I did not have this cordless oscillating tool in my arsenal, I would have had to replace the whole toilet on a job I recently had. Thank goodness I was able to have a control cut on rusted bolts about a 1/4 inch from the porcelain.Thank you Dewalt!!!! My grandfather used Dewalt and now Dewalt is helping me!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool to have I got this tool a while back as I both needed and wanted one. It has proven to be very useful in multiple aspects while remodeling my house. I have used it for cutting drywall, cutting small pieces of trim/wood, cutting through nails in wood, flooring, and even metal strapping. It also works good for sanding with the proper attachment. It fits good in the hand and is very easy to operate. Lightweight, powerful, and being able to move the blade to different positions is a plus. I don't have any cons with this tool. Great purchase!

I use it regularly to cut drywall, cut door trims for flooring, removing grout from tile, cutting wood, and nails. I would recommend this tool to anyone!

When the excess grout set too quickly and I could not remove it by hand, I knew I would need a hand tool. DeWalt’s multi-tool with the grout removal attachments and a carbide tipped cutting blade solved the problem in short order! I purchased the kit with the battery, charger, two cutting blades and the storage bag. The tool is powerful and has an led light to place extra light on your work area. This tool has been a life and a knuckle saver.

But DeWalt has made this tool light weight compared to others and when u have arthritis in your hands weight is most definitely a factor. It's versatile and easy to switch between the different tools it can be used for ... Thank you DeWalt for making such a great tool

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Compact Oscillating Tool I'm not kidding when I say this is the best compact oscillating tool currently on the market. The DEWALT XTREME 12V MAX oscillating multi tool is a compact and ergonomic tool that blows it's competition out of the water. DeWalts handle design for both the compact 12v and they're full size 20v models are actually comfortable in the hand compared to other companies. With the way these tools function being able to solidly and comfortably grip the tool is incredibly important in my opinion. The grip design makes it easy to control while still delivering enough power to cut straight through hardened steel screws, bolts, and more. The quick change system utilized for the blades/other attachments is easy to use with gloves on thanks to the large lever. The tool also features a bright LED light located at the front of the tool, perfect for seeing what your cutting or sanding especially in cramped spots. The use of a variable speed trigger is read of a speed dial makes easing up on the perfect speed so much easier. Having used a coworkers 20v model the 12v feels like it delivers slightly less power but not enough that I'd feel the need to buy a 20v model for anything I'd use this for. If you already have a few 12v MAX tools and are in the market for an oscillating tool then this is a great option. If you're not set on a particular brand or battery platform I can easily recommend DeWalts over all the competitors just because of the ergonomics. Overall this is a great tool at a great price.
