The Best Dewalt for Me and others
I got this for Christmas and it has easily replaced my old B&D driver, a cordless mini drill and a larger drill. Its just a great tool. I had issues with batteries and chargers but this one lasts a LOOONG time on a single charge. I suggest this unit with the torque setting vs the standard driver that Dewalt has. Its Just the best that I have seen a long time. Dont stop making this unit. I am an electrician and computer installer by trade.

this is an excellent tool, I purchased this for my wife, she is not a fan of my 18 volt (old school) DeWalt drivers and was afraid that the 12 volt would not have enough power. I assured her that she would be happy with the tool. The power to weight ratio was surprising to both her and I. I use the drill to access places my full size won't fit. I would purchase a newer lith battery driver but my old school driver just will not die. Thanks DeWalt

works very well
I hope this newer model has a better life expectancy than all the other dewalt cordless drills i have purchased - they seem to be of little to no use after the first 18 months - I am mostly reffering to the battery and charger of the older models.

Great Tool
I build furniture and cabinets. I have dozens of power tools and over a dozen dewalt tools. I use many of the 18v tools and they are great. Bought the 12v lithium ion for some of the lighter weight applications around the shop. Fell in love with this tool. Very ergonomic in your hand and I find it can handle much more than I thought in terms of power. Only downside is the lack of a hard side case like all my other tools. Makes it difficult to store in the shop and still be handy when needed and more difficult to take out on a job site.

Tiny powerhouse
I purchased this for maintenance and love it. The light works great and doesn't leave a large dark spot. It is a lightweight powerhouse in a tiny package. If you are looking for a small drill that has plenty of power this is the drill for you. Way to go Dewalt.

perfect compact driver
I was looking for a compact lightweight driver that had power for occasional drilling. This is a great tool for driving screws and basic drilling. Perfect for working on a ladder hanging curtains or working in tight spaces. Comfortable grip and excellent LED lighting. Add a set of hex shank drill bits and you can leave your big drill in the tool chest most of the time.

Best Screwdriver!!
I’m an appliance repair technician, and this drill is the absolute best for my line of work. I really love the adjustable clutch. In the lower settings i never have to worry about stripping screws. But i have enough power on the high end for almost any job i face. Very lightweight. Incredibly compact. Super comfortable. Every thing i want in a drill. Im a huge fan of this Dewalt product, and i will definitely be getting more!!

It does what I bought it for!
I’ve had this for about screw gun for about a year. I use it just about everyday as a biomedical technician. I bought this mostly because of the clutch feature, and it works great! Battery stays charged for a good while.

I work at a store that sales this product..... Customers LOVE it!! I have serveral come in and say they dont like DEWALT. I told them about these 12V and they buy them and they come back and say they LOVE them!!! They want MORE!!!!!!!

Perfection
As an Electrician, I needed a smaller drill for the constant work involving installing outlets, drilling smaller holes, connecting electrical motors, etc. This drill is absolutely perfect. Has a great light which shines ON the object not under it. Love this drill. I use it more than any other tool I own. Its light yet strong.

Awesome tool! I am proffesional contractor and use my tools every day. This is a sturdy tool. Hex only bits is limiting especially drill bits, but if it had an adjustable chuck head it would not be as compact. I use it mostly for tight spaces on sheetmetal work and between joists.

Our son is a contractor in Minnesota and he only buys DeWalt tools.
If there not DeWalt tools he want buy them. Occasionally I borrow what i need from him and i was also impressed with their durability and their power. I will only purchase DeWalt tools as a result of my experience using them. They are the best by far.

Ease of use for senior with MS
I LOVE this drill/screw driver! I use it all of the time. I'm a 71 yr old woman with MS who enjoys projects of all sorts. The small size, easy to use and light weight keeps me going. I repaired cabinets yesterday and drilled holes in garden pots today. Next week I'm working on fixing the height of a table and building a birdhouse.
