Works perfectly - exactly what I needed.
The power cord is perfect -- allows me an extra one to have for home/travel and one at the office.

Good power adapater.
It's a decent power adapter - and my only VERY small complaint is that the cord is just a little short - another 1-2 feet would be better. It's definitely shorter than the cord that originally came with my XPS 13. Also remember that when this adapter is used to recharge the computer through the USB-C port, one can't use the USB-C port to connect an external device like a monitor.

The AC adapter that should have been with the lapt
This is the ac adapter that should ship with the laptop. It powers my laptop and provides poser to my external blue ray drive. The USB C ports on the laptop don't do that. So this will be beneficial for travel as reduces my load of ac adapters. Highly recommend this.

Beautiful combo of styling and power
Bought 3 months ago, I can see why it is the #2 rated laptop in America. It has earned it ! I researched carefully the whole market of laptops, leaning to a robust system capable of editing large photo files in Photoshop, and doing 3D solid modeling in AutoCAD’s Inventor. This XPS machine never even blinked.... gobble it down and asked for more. Go for it.... you WON’T be sorry.

Great charger
I bought this to replace the original charger my daughter broke, and it's worked great and does what it's supposed to. I have no complaints about it working and charging my computer. I like that it has a USB slot in the charger so you can charge your phone or other device since my computer has no USB port (just USB-C).
My only complaint is that the part that goes into the computer breaks easily (or bends easily), but that's really my own fault for leaving my computer on the coffee table where my curious 13 month old can get to it and drop it on the ground. I think once that part is bent, it stops working even though it can still fit into its slot in my computer, and I don't think it's repairable. What would make this product better is if it was possible just to replace that part of the cord to the charger part instead of having to replace the whole charger. The charger works, just not the part that goes into the computer. I feel like it's such a waste of material and money.

Power cord not correct
I bought this for my children to use with school. They were excited. However, the separate power cord ordered online at the websites recommendation was not the correct cord. We asked for a return which was accepted and decided we would purchase a power cord locally. However, the actual power cord for this model is only available online. So anticipation of a school homework computer is on hold while we receive the proper power cord. Disappointing considering Dell should know which power cord will work with their computer. When did every item become an option? Can’t a computer, which doesn’t work without power or a charged battery, come with a power cord as a standard option? At what point does every single feature become an option that you have to buy separately and risk the wrong item? Which throws you into waiting for the right option and having to take the incorrect item to Fedex? Is this the future of consumer transactions?

Works great
Not sure what the one star review is about. This works very well for me, as it's a portable source for me. I also have the docking station, so this is my mobile solution. Works well for phone also, as a plus.

The charger is fine. The computer I purchased was a surprise. Did not realize I had 2 hard drives - which has caused some issues with Carbonite - and - I have had to work around the two different hard drives.

Not enough juice for XPS15
45W might be enough for XPS13 and smaller, but with the XPS15, it charges slowly and puts the laptop into energy conservation mode. I gave it to my kids and bought a 5mm to 3mm adapter cable for my "old" 65W.

A big improvement!
Working well. Seems to be a much better way to charge my 1 year old 13" XPS laptop. Doesn't seem so fragile like the one that came with it (which broke rather easily).

It works as it should for charging my Dell 2 N 1 laptop. Having the 2nd cord and ability to change my mobile phone at same time means I can carry only 1 charger when traveling.

A great charger -- and the extra USB idea is just brilliant!
Light and handy. And I love not needing to carry a phone charger, too -- just a cord. It's extra helpful when I'm using the cell data on my phone for my computer.

Not compatible to my system
Although the Dell site indicated this was compatible to my XPS 9365 2n1, the 50w adapter I was shipped made my system lock up. My original 30w adapter was not available on the Dell site. I returned this for refund.

Its pretty good
I really like having this as an alternate charging plug, but what I don’t like is everytime I use this I get a notification saying that there is not enough watts and the battery will be drained faster unless I plug in a higher watt charging plug. Why would Dell make a usb-c charging plug to drain your battery? I like how much smaller the plug is but I dont like the notification I keep getting when I use this charging plug. That is why I gave it 4 stars.

Nice small size - USB outlet awesome
The price is a little higher than the generic chargers out there, but the sleek design makes it well worth it.
The built-in USB outlet is genius.
The light at the PC end is perfect and the size weight is very acceptable.
This 50 Watt adapter works with all of the USB-C chargeable Latitudes in my care. I think I miss the rubber band that held the cords together on the old chargers better, but I like the rounded edges on the new design. The clip on the PC side cord isn't strong enough to hold the cord on the AC side when you wrap everything up.
I really like the right angle approach on the cord on the PC side. Dell used to have a similar right angle adapter on the AC side. Seems like I'm trading one broken strain relief and the PC side for a broken strain relief on the AC side. For some reason, users won't unplug the 3 hole plug from the AC adapter so it ends up stuffed in a case and it gets broken. Right Angle strain relief on both end is the key.
