What a difference I I can easily move it to the correct distance depending on what I'm working on, and tilt it to reduce glare as the light changes throughout the day. Installataion was a breeze (very glad I watched a 'how-to' video first to understand all the features.) No more back pain, no more eye strain. Thanks, Dell. I especially love the snap-on feature for the monitor.

I have another brand on another desk and this is hands down better! 180° (locked) or 360° (unlocked) options are on the pivots are fantastic. Movement is smooth & responsive. Footprint is small. The weak link, if any, is cable management…but that is still really good. If this series had a dual laptop arm option, the arms on my other desk would be sent back.

This is definitely good value for the money. It articulates very well, is very smooth to adjust the monitor, and keeps your desktop clean. The only problem I have is that I can't believe I waited this long to buy monitor stands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Mount with Faults Overall, the mount has a solid construction, but the small plastic pieces used as guards for internal wiring leave something to be desired. The first time I set up the mount, the locking tabs on the plastic piece snapped right off, rendering it useless. The mount still works fine, but it's an annoying problem to encounter.

I have to grab the arm from behind and adjust, instead of just grasping the edges of the monitor like I do at work. Not sure if this is normal operation or a bad unit. Otherwise decent quality.

The quick release is a nice feature and the adjustability is on par with higher priced arms from Chief. I would like an option to have a through desk mount instead of the clamp. I ended up cutting the clamp portion off and drilling holes to screw down to the desk as the mount was not at the edge.

The reason I change so many arms is because I like to keep my desk clean and user friendly, and upgrading monitors. This Dell one is really amazing in terms of its feature and ability to declutter cables. The ability to limit the arm from going 360 degrees is great, since I don't want to accidentally hit the wall. Although the price is higher than other options, I do think this is worth it, and I should be sticking to this arm for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor Arm This is my first time using a monitor arm, have to say this is a very sturdy arm. Lots of adjustment and it was easy to put together and install on my desk. I do like the cable management as most arms you just have cables dangling everywhere. You do need to make sure your cables are long enough, as you'll use more length of cable to route along the arm. But that aside, once it's installed, you are good to go. Range of motion is good and it works good even up against a wall.

One of the buttons to adjust the movement of the arms keeps coming off when I change the setting, so just need to be careful not to lose it. Be sure to check that your desk thickness will be compatible. I had to cut a piece of the desk in order to make this work.

Also love how I can adjust the tension to hold it firm. Also you can swivel the arm 350 degrees to find the right spot. Finally, the attachment footprint is very small, so even though I have a privacy panel on my desk, this attachment point doesn't interfere with that!

Secures firmly to my desk, easily supports my 27" monitor. Easy to maneuver but a bit stiff raising and lowering. I think it has to do with their tension system - not completely easy to figure out. Other than than, very easy to assemble, comes well packaged. Cable management system is pretty cool, and I really like how easy (snap in) is is to attach the dell monitor. Package included parts for monitors without Dell's attachment system. Does what it's supposed to: I now have a lot more desk space which is what I need in this time of working from home! Would recommend to others, worth the price!

One of the plastic switches to "lock" the joints snapped off during setup; still usable you just have to jam it over the metal piece underneath it - probably fixable with super glue. Wobblier than I would have liked for the price considering I'm only using a 27" monitor, anyone with a larger/heavier display may find it too bouncy, even with the weight adjustment tuned.

Other brands, you have no idea if you are adjusting the tension in the right direction. Also the newer model now has an easier cable management. In the previous model, I would break the side clips trying to add and remove cables.

I can also visibly see my adjustments for my monitor weight. It has been great to have a monitor arm while doing photo editing in Photoshop. No longer am I bending over but bringing the monitor to me. I originally bought a monitor arm from ergoton that had great reviews - that was a mistake. It had rough edges where my power/monitor cables were to go and wanted to use cheap "ties" in another section for wire management. I also couldn't even loosen a screw properly with a drill!! I boxed it up and got this instead. So glad I did!!

It feels really stable and was simple to install my only complaint, which in the scheme of overall functionality, isn’t huge, is that the covers for the cable management don’t stay on very well. I wish the connections that keep the covers in place weren’t so flimsy. Even give that, I would absolutely buy these again (bought 2).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well with an ultra wide! Right out of the box I knew quality was worth the price. It’s a heavy arm but built well. It’s very easy to assemble, adjust tensions, and take on/off the cable management covers. It looks super clean and has a nice quality look to it that other monitor arms lack. Mounted a 34 inch ultra wide (U3419W on this and everything is working great! Just adjust the tensions right at the start and this thing is super sturdy. Did this with a little trial and error until it held the monitor without sinking. I’m just over the “half way” mark for the tension so this thing can hold a bunch more weight if needed. There is a nice display that shows you what your tension is at, it’s super handy. I tested it out, even with the arm fully extended with an ultra side, this thing is sturdy. The arm is completely silent when adjusting and feels very sturdy while doing so. You can rotate this thing pretty much anyway you like or prevent rotation all together depending on what you set this to. I have full confidence that this will hold my monitor safely. I can have my desk super close to the wall by mounting the arm to the side of my desk (not center). Took a bit of trial and error to get the desk mounting point right to line my monitor up in the middle of the desk. This does limit the range of motion, but not as much as you would think. This thing has a lot of different rotation points and even side mounted it can do a whole range of motions to get the viewing angle just right. The cable management system is almost perfect. I would like a bit more room to store the some excess cables, but it gets the job done. Right now I have fit a power cable, DisplayPort cable and a MacBook charging cable with ease. Would definitely buy this again, as I think it is well worth the price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mostly great but only one issue Assembly was painless and moving my monitor over worked perfectly. If you are strong enough and can stabilize it, you can install the monitor yourself. The problem for me is the length of the arm. If I was attaching it from the back of my desk, the length would be perfect but because of the way my desk is set up, I can only attach it from the side. So my monitor is just off center because the arm doesn't extend enough to be centered on my desk. Given that the Kensington arm I purchased for a different monitor was able to center that display when installed in the same position, I have to take a star off this monitor.

I use it for an LG 34" ultrawide monitor and it works great with the included VESA adapter. Be sure to plan out your cable lengths beforehand as the arm requires a lot of length to operate to its greatest range!

Very difficult to orient the mount plate to the monitor. Feels sturdy & work perfectly with an empty desk that’s only 1/2” thick.

Once installed the arm was able to be positioned for height and distance. The arm itself is well made and durable. I feel it was overpriced compared to other generic ones found online, but because my particular Dell monitor does not have 4 attachment screws in- place, I was locked into buying the Dell unit.

I use a standing desk, and despite the added weight my standing desk is not tippy. I do not lock the arm so I can spin the monitor around and use my it from the opposite side of my desk as needed. Cable management system was a bonus.

MSA20 clamp is minimal enough for a sleek look and space, the ability to have the Visa built in so you can just drop the monitor in it it's wonderful, so convenience, will hold your monitor without any issue, very easy to install, height is a win as well got it on sale price and I can't complain, I love the way it looks and the floating monitor style I'm getting from it is gorgeous, not leaving aside the build quality, superior
