I got the mouse to work immediately upon putting in the battery, but I have not been able to use the keyboard. I put in the battery and, for some reason, I can’t get it to work. I am sure that it will once I figure it out.

TBD I would like nothing better than do perform a review, I review nearly every opportunity, however my XPS 8960 arrived only last week and I await my code for my digital locker hence I have been unable to give the new keyboard a ride. This is my fourth Dell computer and second XPS. I noticed immediately that both the wired and wireless keyboards and mice are lesser quality than the equivalent from my last XPS that was purchased in 2018. Although functional, this product is flimsy, cheaply made, and overpriced. Better to save your money and purchase a third party wireless keyboard and mouse.

Great rechargeable keyboard and mouse
This is a great wireless keyboard and mouse combination. The mouse has a great feel in the hand. The keyboard is much wider than typical wireless keyboards. It has some weight to it as well keeping it in place. My favorite part is that it is rechargeable opposed to using batteries.

The keyboard works fine. Lightweight plastic doesn't provide for good tactile response of the keys, but its functional.
Be aware that the keyboard connects using a USB Type A plug. I bought it for use with a Latitude 7320 Detachable computer (tablet), which only has USB Type C ports. So I had to buy an adapter to connect the keyboard to the computer. Dell advertised the keyboard as "compatible" but I disagree (due to the need for a separate adapter).

The keyboard is great - there's a nice spring to it, very comfortable to use. The mouse is horrible. I've never had so much trouble moving a mouse in my life. Doesn't matter how sensitive I set the controlling software, the mouse acts like moving diagonally is just not a thing. Not responsive at all. Not returning because I love the keyboard and pretty sure this is just a cheap mouse. Using my old mouse instead.

The wireless keyboard and mouse have a nice feel and are very responsive. You do have to be careful if there are large metal objects between the PC and the keyboard/mouse. At one point, I had my old desktop next to my new PC and the keyboard was very sluggish and duplicated keys. As soon as I moved the old PC out of the way, the keyboard and mouse have been working fine.

Std keyboard and mouse. Only issue is you need to turn off or batteries run low quickly. I had assumed there would be a "shut down" function that didn't draw on the battery. Connected seamlessly to multiple brand devices .. big positive.

Keyboard is just as bad as the one on a laptop. It has flat, widely spaced keys that are impossible to type on. Total waste of money. Only one dongle provided with this set, so you can't even use it elsewhere in the house.

The mouse is acceptable but not great. The keyboard keys are "wobbly" and difficult to adapt to if the previous keyboard you were using had much better keys. I would not buy it again!!
It was purchased to replace a Dell combo Premier Wireless Keyboard and Mouse KM717. The keyboard still works fine but the mouse no longer functions properly. (purchased May 30 2019)

Ergonomics: great. Price: great. But the mouse does some nutty things from time to time - e.g., continuing to scroll after I've stopped scrolling, only showing up on certain parts of the screen as I'm navigating a page. So I have to unplug the USB and plug it back in again to "reset" it - probably as often as 2-3x/wk. And both batteries - mouse and keypad - died within the first month. Really?!?!

This is great. I love the keyboard and have always loved the wireless mouse. No cords for keyboard. I can hook computer to 65 inch TV and work with the keyboard and mouse from the sofa. Great product. Same as mine at the office. Wouldnt expect anything less from Dell.

The keyboard is responsive, and has a "nice feel". The cordless mouse wasn't satisfactory - often VERY slow to respond, frozen on screen, non-uniform movement/tracking. I went back to a corded mouse with this keyboard - works great. A bit expensive for just a cordless keyboard.

It was advertised as wireless. I didn't realize that it did not have bluetooth capability and I needed to use a usb port in order to use the keyboard and mouse. I think the description could be better so the customer will understand what they are purchasing.

Dell Pro Support staff is great. I just replaced my 8 year old Latitude and Dell Pro Support worked to get my new Latitude set up right. I buy computers for my clients and I insist on Dell. Every Dell agent knows what to do and gives all the time needed to get it right. My last Dell laptop purchased in 2014 still works great but it's time for a new Dell.

It is a keyboard and mouse and it does what it is supposed to. It is full sized which I like. The keyboard is relatively quiet, but not silent, and responsive. The mouse is ok. It is not very ergonomic, but not uncomfortable either. The mouse clicks are not quiet.

I'm disappointed in the actual feel of the keyboard. It feels "plastic-ie" or cheap. The feel of the keys is firm and precise. It's very easy to mistakenly double tap a key. It's ok but in the future I will shop in store where I can get a better feel of the product.

Terrible Keyboard
This keyboard is a throwback to the last century. The model it replaced was far better. This keyboard has keys with smaller, thinner letters that are barely legible in dim light, and the symbols are so small they are almost impossible to read. Furthermore, the keys are loose in their slots and have far too much travel. Why on earth Dell would produce such a poor keyboard, when its previous model was a reasonable facsimile of a modern keyboard, is unfathomable. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

I was disappointed to see that the mouse had only one programable button (pressing down on the wheel). It appeared that it was going to have three. I immediately purchased a replacement with four buttons from a different manufacturer. That being said, my main purchase was an XPS 8950 to replace my eight year old 8700. The 8950, which I souped up a bit, is a marvelous machine. Ditto for the Dell 27 inch monitor that I bought at the same time.

COMPLETE DISSATISFACTON WITH THIS XPS COMPUTER
The keyboard and mouse work fine but the computer is the most inconvenient because none of my plugins work with the USB-C clots. If I had been told that fact I would have never purchased tis computer. I have to find and buy a usb-c or a usb-a for everything. Dell has gone over the edge just like the others in only selling for the computer geeks. The rest of us can go to ----.

The keyboard is OK, but the mouse doesn't work properly. You have to apply pressure on it to make it work. I've switched back to my old mouse and keyboard that work properly.

I paid extra for the wireless set and it was a big mistake. Has not worked well since I set it up. Tried brand new batteries, didn't help. Light stopped working on mouse. I paired up a spare set and I am back in business.

Not having a new keyboard and mouse for 9 years, these are great! They are responsive, a good fit for a touch typist, and the size is good as well. A good basic product at a reasonable price. I only buy Dell products. I have done this since Dell was Gateway. I have never had to buy replacement ANYTHING due to failure. Keep in mind, I keep my computers for approximately 9 years. That's performance! Great customer service too.

This is a great keyboard and mouse. 0 problems with the hardware. The only issue I came across is, when turning on and using the mouse, the signal would disrupt my baby monitor if it was too close. This is of course not a problem with the product, just a personal issue.

They're OK, I guess, but I wouldn't have bought them if they didn't come with the system I ordered. Tactile feel is "meh" and blind typing is difficult coming from a mechanical keyboard (or even an early 2000s Dell keyboard).

The keyboard works well; but the mouse is a stuttering, unreliable mess. (Yes, the mouse is close to the dongle when in use, and I installed fresh batteries.) Unpairing and then re-pairing the mouse through the Dell Peripheral Manager didn't help, and even that was difficult to do because it took many unsuccessful attempts to initiate the re-pairing process before it finally kicked in.

Don't Waste Your Money
This is the worst wireless keyboard and mouse I've ever seen. The keyboard has a place for dongle within the battery compartment; however, no dongle is present. The cover for the battery compartment is very difficult to get back into place once the batteries are inserted. The instructions are so microscopic - they are unreadable. No indication of functionality from the mouse at all. If you drop the keyboard, it comes apart - no durability at all.

Buy a USB extender cable for the Keyboard/Mouse NIB.
OK, a bit smaller foot print. Biggest con is that fact I had to add a USB extender cable for the Keyboard/Mouse usb nib to get it closer to the mouse. I purchased a Dell XPS 8950 Desktop, which sits on the floor under my deck and the mouse would not always respond until I extended the Nib to the top of the desktop.

Overall great keyboard and mouse. The feel of the keys when typing is pleasant, the mouse is very responsive, it is easy to connect, and easy to get batteries in and out of. The USB pairing receiver can be stored inside the mouse or keyboard, which is convenient when travelling for work. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel the mouse could be somewhat more ergonomic, however, this is based on the shape and comfort of me personally. If you are someone who would need a more ergonomic mouse this one may not be best suited for you but for a basic set up it's great.

The cursor often sticks while moving the mouse. I tried using a new mouse pad and had the same issue. I have switched to a wired mouse. The keyboard has issues with letters not typing when struck or sometimes typing a letter multiple times when struck a single time. I have switched to a wired keyboard.

Great but Caps Lock Could be Better
If you don't need anything fancy, this is for you. The only thing I dislike about this keyboard is that there is a pop-up notification when you turn caps lock on and off, but it goes away quickly. I never remember which I'm on when I stop typing and go back to it. A little light on the key that stays on when caps lock is active would be MUCH better. That is the only thing that annoys me with this keyboard. Everything else is A-okay.

Pretty disappointed. These combos do not hold up well at all. Letters wear off rapidly. Many issues with mouse having click and or scroll issues. If you get a year out of these consider yourself lucky. I wont be purchasing these any longer.

I love the size and feel of this keyboard and mouse. And the flexibility of not being bound by a wire is great -- I often take the keyboard and mouse with me when I travel, so I am not stuck with my smaller laptop keyboard and touchpad. The negatives: I have way more typos because the keyboard did not register a keystroke. That, combined with autocorrect on most applications, means that I really have to proofread EVERYTHING I type -- even short emails that I jot off. That is disappointing. I also get a frequent low battery warning -- on both of my keyboards and mice (I have the same model at the office.)

It works as promised. Dell sells a wireless keyboard that is a little less expensive — but I ended up returning two of them as the space bars on both were defective. It was worth spending a few dollars more on this keyboard, which is comfortable and easy to type on. The function keys [the top row] are also more useful than those on the cheaper keyboard — they allow you to adjust speaker volume, among other things.

Completely wireless and excellent product, just when I don’t tile, even for a few seconds, it goes to “sleep mode” and I have to “wake it up” by hitting any key and THEN continue typing… don’t know if it’s just me…

intermittent operation of both keyboard and mouse on my xps 8950. Seems like the unified remote chip has very weak signal to devices. Tried moving usb chip to front port of computer so that it would be closer to keyboard and mouse but did not improve much. Going with wired devices to get reliable connection.

Minor issue installing.
I was very unhappy with the way it worked. The mouse was mostly unresponsive, skipping all over the screen. When typing on the key board, about half the letters were skipped. The instructions said to install the Bluetooth toggle in a slot in the rear of the computer. I moved the toggle to a port on the front panel and everything is working as it should and I’m very happy. For the minor issue of relocating the toggle and the performance of the product, I give it a 5 star rating.

Install of wireless mouse and keyboard
Good products at a reasonable price. The only issue we had is buying this product was combined with buying a new Dell system. When we powered up the system for the first time with windows 11 it wanted us to start initializing the system with select the country you are in. Since the wireless drivers were not loaded the keyboard and mouse did not seem to work. We also had an issue when we connected the antenna for the keyboard and mouse to USB 2.0 480Mbs port. The mouse acted erratically and the pointer would disappear or move oddly. We moved the antenna to a faster port and the problem went away.

Good switch after initial snafu
The wireless mouse did not function initially, so to begin my new CPU's operation I had to resort to an older wired mouse. Later I switched to the wireless mouse with success. The wireless keyboard is similar in arrangement to my old wired keyboard, so this made for an easy transition; the keys seem to press more crisply. I am satisfied with no further complaint.

For the amount you pay you get a great quality product that feels good in your hands and the response is enough for the average IT person. I do IT and I use this wireless set to connect to anything that requires a KB. From a server to a laptop or a video surveillance equipment.
I would like to add that I won't mind paying more if the product were made in the USA.

A good wireless keyboard and mouse
It is a full-sized keyboard but is wireless and occupies less space than older wired keyboards. The mouse is also wireless. Both share the same USB dongle. I do wish that a trackball offering was available to even further reduce desk space.

At times the keyboard does not key in the letter/number even though I hit/press the key several times. The arrow does not move with movement of the mouse...sometimes it is jumpy and other times it does not move at all. The mouse also causes a right button menu on the screen, even I have not touched the right button.

The mouse was very intermittent at best, and I had to purchase a different one. The Keyboard is ok, but again it is not great as it doesn't pick up on all the keystrokes, so I have to go back again to type missed letters. I will probably purchase a different keyboard as well.

Would have rated it a 5 except for the poor instructions that accompanied the keyboard. Caused me to return the keyboard and get a replacement. Replacement was same as original. No instructions for the chip that plugs into USB port so computer recognizes keyboard. Actually have to use chip from the mouse. A few simple written instructions would have saved a lot of time. (And Dell expense).

I miss the caps lock indicator light
I am an editor and the one thing I like about older keyboards is the caps lock light on the keyboard. I see the caps lock message on the laptop screen, but I am often looking down at paper ir a book as I type. Otherwise my new wireless keyboard and mouse are working as expected.

Spacing between keys is great. However, keyboard repeats keys at random times. The only fix is to reboot. Mouse constantly says battery low. Product is being returned.

Quick setup, not really.
So far satisfied with the hardware but the quick set up documentation is awful. Tiny little accordion folded piece of paper with minimal diagrams of the units and absolutely no verbiage to assist in setup. There was no indication that there is only one USB receiver which came with the mouse that is used for both the mouse and keyboard. Made more confusing because there is a slot for a receiver on the keyboard but no receiver. The on/off switch for the keyboard is in such an inconspicuous place that I could not find it initially and of course the keyboard would not function. I had to go to the online user manuals to get things working. Anything but quick and very cheesy. Not what I was expecting from my first Dell product.

wireless keyboard works flawlessly, HOWEVER, the wireless mouse not so much. The mouse seems to hesitate or lag slightly rather than move the cursor smoothly throughout all processes. The "transponder chip" is plugged into the back of the computer a mere 2' away. I have reverted back to my LOGITECH wireless mouse and it works perfectly :-(

The mouse is the worst. The wheel works "sometimes" and the mouse eats batteries like they are cheese. The keyboard is just ok, requires a long downward stroke when typing. I'm looking to replace them both. Would not buy them again.

The keyboard and mouse work, with no extra frills. They are what you'd expect, and do what you are looking for. I've only used this for a month, so I am not sure how well the parts will hold up over time. If I had that information, I would rate it higher.

This laptop and remote keyboard & mouse were purchased for my wife. The units respond quickly with no problem. However, I find the keyboard very uncomfortable to use. I have a similar set-up for my laptop but have a Logitech key board/mouse. The Logitech key board has a few function keys located around the key board itself and includes an extension for your wrists, which I find very useful.

This keyboard has a major defect
I originall ordered this keyboard to replace the original on on my Dell computer. It arrived and ai was dumbfounded to find out that the normal boots triggered by either the F12 or F2 keys did **not** work. I got two more of these keyboards with the same result. I view this as a fatal flaw because I have occasion to go both the BIOS and boot mode area of the computer which I could not easily do with this keyboard. Then, quite by accident I found if you press the FN key in addition to either F12 or F2 the machine behaves as it should and boots either into the BIOS (F2) or the boot mode area (F12). I view this as a major flaw. While the workaround is simple enough, this keyboard should either be modified to give the correct response with the F12 or F2 key, as the very, very lease there should be a note regarding the Fn key in the directions. I spent a total of 4 days trying to figure that problem out and I was very disappointed in this keyboard as sold.

Not what I was told I was ordering.
Besides the technical aspects which I also don't like (mouse feels super cheap and it already glitches), I was told that the purchase would have bluetooth connectivity. This was especially important to me because I purchased it with the XPS, which has no USB slots. So as of right now I need to carry the dongle around as well. Not ideal, at all.

It's a good mouse and keyboard combo. Pairs easily. Single dongle for both devices. Works well. Seems to have good signal strength as my old set would find random dead zones on the desk, causing me to move the mouse around until it reconnected. I haven't had this issue with this set.

Poor performance of wireless keyboard and mouse combo.
This is a poor product design. I received and installed the wireless keyboard and mouse and quickly found its behavior awkward. The cursor halts and stalls, difficult to navigate the page. Changed mouse pad and batteries, no improvement. Also, the scrolling wheel goes to sleep - just plain quits responding. Takes a few mouse-clicks to wake it up.
Customer support was kind enough to send me a replacement. Sadly, its problematic behavior is identical to the first one. It's a 'lightless' optical pickup - could explain the poor cursor performance, but doesn't explain the scroll wheel going to sleep often. I would avoid this product - I'm discarding this one and have ordered a different brand.

Almost perfect
Keyboard very silent, and low travel distance of keys makes my typing life easier. Mouse is smooth and the wheel is silent though the click is rather loud and piercing, I wish it was as quiet as the keyboard. The distance of the dongle was disappointing. I had to move my pc to the front underside of my desk for the connection to remain when I used my standing desk.

I prefer a keyboard that makes a little noise, but this one is essentially soundless. The mouse is not as responsive as I like, but it works well (and I'm finicky. Overall I learned about my preferences and got a good mouse and keyboard.

Consider upgraded mouse and keyboard options
I was disappointed in the quality of the product. Very cheaply made and 1) a key on the keyboard started to stick after one day. In addition the mouse was also disappointing. I had a mind of it's own. Jumping when I wasn't even touching it and the pointer would start to flicker for now reason. I should have known my the price (low). You get what you pay for. Dell however should offer upgrade options for mouse and keyboard and give the buyer options. I reverted to my old wireless mouse and keyboard from my desktop and they worked as expected.

Pretty good set for a good price!
I bought this set because I don’t like the high clunky keyboard keys, the lower profile are so much better! They could still be a little lower profile but I can still type with more ease. The one thing I would say about the mouse is that batteries do not seem to last! I get the battery is came with not lasting but I have already replaced the battery twice in less than three weeks! Overall good set with a good price.

This keyboard is not quite what I had hoped for. I had wanted a continuous reminder of caps lock or num lock, and this doesn't have it. Furthermore, I initially set it up so that one of the function keys would put the computer to sleep, but that only lasted a month or less. Now I have no key to chose for the sleep function, and none for waking up.This should be automatically included but it isn't. I don't feel that I got a good replacement for my original (Dell) keyboard.

Sticky Keys
The keys stick and you never know when it will happen. So if you hit delete, the delete will just keep going. Same with letters, you will have the same letter for days if you happen to step away.

Mouse didn’t work so I threw it away and then Dell customer service said I’d have to return both keyboard and mouse or I couldn’t get a refund. I love the keyboard though and use it everyday so I didn’t want to return it and obviously no longer had the mouse! First order from Dell and my last!

Prepare for low battery and slow keystrokes
We ordered several for our office and all of them immediately started having battery issues. Seemed weird for a brand new product. We changed the batteries and we haven't gotten the notice again, so it didn't seem to be a fluke, it was just that the packages came with low batteries. And they aren't rechargeable so we had to replace entirely.
The keys often are either very slow to respond to the keystroke, or will completely miss what you type at all and you will have to retype it. Very odd and annoying.
Mouse seems to be okay, other than the low battery.
All in all, these get the job done, but are not top of the line. (our rep did inform us that these were just average items before we bought them, so my expectations were low. but i did think they would at least come with proper batteries.

This product has been a disaster. They constantly show that the batteries are low even after I have replaced the batteries several times. They do not respond properly to commands. This has been a nightmare.

This wireless keyboard and mouse work great. I was able to use the Dell keyboard management software to change the Function keys back to being F1-F12 without any additional keys needing to be held fairly easily.

The keyboard is ok. I'd like for it to have a ,"Caps Lock" light to indicate when the Caps is on. The mouse is not so good. It is too cumbersome and not tapered at all at the index finger area, this causes constant accidental right clicking of the mouse. This is very annoying.

One Minor Issue
Based on a Dell online chat with Arun Agarwal (Session ID: 2836443 I assumed that the Keyboard and Mouse could be connected directly via Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i (2x2) 802.11ax Wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 and not use a separate USB port. However, that does not appear to be the case. I was unable to find a way to make the Keyboard and Mouse discoverable by the Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i.

I love both items. My old keyboard and mouse were about 8 years old. The keyboard touch was noisy and the board moved around. I can hardly hear this one click, and it is much sturdier so it doesn't move around. The mouse is sleeker and is ergonomically easier to use. Both products are great and economical.

Okay so I had already purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse for my desktop about a year ago and once it came in I realized that my computer was too old for it. So receiving this one from TryIt was well maybe we can use it when we hook up our laptop to the video display at church. But I gave it a try on our old desktop to see if it would connect. And to my amazement the system recognized it right away and it was up and running in less than a minute. It works seamlessly. There was a slight lag at first but now it's not even noticeable.

really torn over this. On the one hand, it feels nicely designed, the keys feel great, and coming from my prior (10 year old keyboard I no longer sound like I'm pounding on the desk when I'm on a speaker-phone call.
However, the mouse is really "skippy"---it's almost as if there's interference, it phases in and out of working perfectly. Sometimes the mouse pointer just skips around and other times it's flawless. The keyboard randomly loses keystrokes. I'll go back over a paragraph I've written and there will be 30 missing keystrokes, one or two here, one there, requiring me to proof-read absolutely everything I've written.
Distance to the receiver is a non-issue: it's line of sight and approximately 18 inches from both; I should certainly hope 18 inches is not too significant a distance.

I use this keyboard and mouse combo with my laptop that I use closed and run two monitors from. I can use this wireless keyboard and mouse and it essentially turns my laptop into a desktop workstation. Great quality and because of the Bluetooth capability I can use it to control my TV too!

I didn't have to do anything. I just plugged in the thing that transmitted to the computer, put batteries in the mouse and keyboard and it worked. The buttons feel good. Everything works. It feels natural using it. It's nice not having to deal with the cord.

The wireless keyboard and mouse have come in Handy during quarantine. I’m constantly moving about the house getting work done and this way I can just move the keyboard and mouse with me and I don’t have to worry about them being plugged in and I can still get all my work done. The set was easy to connect to my computer and works great. It’s lightweight and easily portable. My only drawback is the keys, probably because I’m not used to keys that barely need to be hit to be depressed. I’m used to the feel of pressing down a key on a regular or mechanical keyboard so this just feels off to my fingers. It’s taking time to get adjusted to, but it would not deter me from recommending.

This keyboard and mouse have been perfect for my work from home setup that I put up and take down daily. The mouse and keyboard are not fancy, and are very similar to the stock wired mouse and keyboard you get with a Dell system. They are responsive and comfortable to work on. I have not experienced any connectivity issues in working on them for about a month, They are light weight and on the smaller side, so that works great for tucking them away when not in use. If you want a basic, dependable wireless keyboard and mouse setup, this set should not disappoint.

Decent Keyboard and Mouse Combo
For a basic keyboard and mouse, this is a good set. They connect fine once the USB dongle is connected. Both the Keyboard and the mouse have power buttons in case only one of them is to be used.
Keyboard: The keys have a lot of travel for the type of keyboard, so if a lot of response is desired then this is the keyboard to get. If you want minimal travel, look elsewhere. There are feet on the back to adjust the angle. One thing I didn't like about the keyboard is that the keys to the right of the enter button are close, so I found I had to look at the keyboard when hitting the delete button, to make sure I was hitting the right key. I have been used to a bit of a space there.
Mouse: The mouse works really well- I tried it on my glass table, and it worked fine, as opposed to other mice from major manufacturers where it wouldn't track as well on that surface. It's also very light, which I appreciate in a mouse.

I switched from a corded mouse and keyboard and I now know what I was missing. This opens up a USB port and reduces clutter on my desk. It’s also a bit smaller than my other Keyboard so it really gives me more usable desk space without compromising for anything. My favorite part is the way the keyboard buttons press and click, it may sound funny but it’s a sensory factor that I appreciate.

Solid productivity that checks all the boxes.
Thr keys have great travel. The botrom out is confident with a satisfying actuation which gives a great ttping experoence. I just wish that they keyboard was backlight with souble injected keycaps to give that all around experience. There is a bit of deck flex but not to the point where it feels cheap. The plastic case is stiff enough to allow for a great typing experience. The mouse is comfortable and the switches are satisfying. Checks all thd blxes

Two things
Two things that stand out with this set.
One, it’s all super light without being cheaply made. This is nice because a lot of things that are light weight are normally of poor quality. These still feel strong.
Second is that the mouse is only one AA battery instead of two. This may not seem like much but it means you buy less batteries. When you’re using it all day for work it makes a big difference.

I chose this wireless keyboard because I like the low profile design. The wireless mouse has a problem when I try to highlight to cut and past large areas. The signal cuts out before I can highlight the entire text I need to paste into another program.

The mouse clicks are noisier than I'm accustomed to hearing. The mouse buttons themselves extend slightly over the sides of the mouse resulting in unintended mouse clicks. No issues with the keyboard except the Delete key could be larger.

Dongle Bungle
I find this keyboard and mouse good in all respects except ability to respond when the external HDD is activated say, during a backup. This seems due to the dongle being plugged into an adjacent USB port to XHDD. Separating them, XHDD in the rear and the dongle on the front face of the PC, solves the problem. However, I prefer to keep all front face USB ports clear of permanent plugs and always fully available for use by flash drives. If this is a problem for you, too, I might try for a combo with a better wireless dongle or maybe see if there is one with Bluetooth that works better. Otherwise this combo keep the desk free of wires and does the job most of the time.

This keyboard set didn't work at all for me. Both keyboard and mouse frequently lost connection, the keys got stuck while typing, and the mouse batteries needed replacing 2x in 1 week. I returned it.

Great product!
I love both the keyboard and the mouse. I have used another wireless mouse brand before, but they felt like I was using a toy. This mouse feels sturdy and well built. I also love the basic-ness of the keyboard. No frills to have to figure out.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This Dell Pro Wireless Keyboard and Mouse set is very convenient to use. It came with only one USB connector so it won't occupied many slots so I have extra USB ports to use for other needs. The size of the Keyboard is compact so it does not occupied so much space on the table at the same time the mouse size is decent which is not small so it is very suitable for me as my work require mouse work all the time.

The keyboard and mouse are great until you put the caps lock on. The cap lock stays on no matter how many times you try to change it. And of course there is no one to ask about the problem because going to contact us directs to the knowledge base not an actual email or telephone number

Mouse works erratically- curser freezes foe several seconds at intermittent times. Problem might last for a minute or two, or all day. Unpredictable and close to useless.

The mouse came with a little USB transmitter to plug into the computer. The keyboard did not. The keyboard does not work. The mouse is not very ergonomic.

Disappointing combo
Not a good device to have on a Dell PC. Instead of instant on to use, it takes time for it to wake up then it's functional. However, the response on the mouse is delayed and adjusting on the mouse app does not help. Same with the keyboard. Overall, it's very disappointing to see the performance issues on this Dell KB/mouse combo.

Basic, slim-profile wireless keyboard.
Great, slim-profile wireless keyboard. Connected effortlessly to my computer. I already had an alternate bluetooth mouse that i preferred, so i have only used the keyboard portion of this order. Note: keyboard does not have back-lighting on keys, and the CapsLock key does not have an on-key indicator of activation. 4 stars only because battery life is questionable: the keyboard shipped with 2 AAA batteries provided by Dell, and I started getting a "low battery" indication within the first week of use. TBD whether this short lifespan was due to the batteries, or to the keyboard. Replacement batteries seem OK two weeks in.

Battery Life is Subpar
I like the idea of both. However, I keep getting notifications on my monitor that both batteries are low. I have been using them for 1 week and have replaced the batteries in both, but still receive the message.

just what I needed
I got the wireless keyboard and mouse to go with my new Dell laptop because I didn't realize how much I used the numeric keys on the right side of my old keyboard of my desktop and the new laptop only has numeric keys at the top of the keyboard. I could have used my old Dell keyboard and mouse, but they are both wired and that was one of the reasons for getting a new computer, was to do away with so many wires.

A very basic keyboard and mouse. If you are used to a keyboard that is of better quality this is not for you, but it gets the job done. I find the keys sit higher causing my fingers to catch on the adjacent key and therefore I am fumbling trying to reposition my hand. the mouse just feels cheap to me.

Faulty mouse
When I first unboxed these, I noticed that the mouse seemed really cheaply made. But now as I try to use it, something in my mouse seems to be faulty. It keeps "clicking" on anything it passes over, even if I remove the cover that presses on the mouse right and left buttons. The problem comes and goes, but it is basically useless and I will have to replace it. I have been using it for 2 weeks.

Wireless keyboard and mouse work well. My wife prefers using a smaller mouse so we are not really using that part of the product. My only complaint about the keyboard is the lack of, or minimal size of, the visual designations of "on" and "off" for the on/off switch. That could be made easier, especially for "old" eyes. In addition, for the mouse, which works well, whether the + or - end of the battery goes in first is not clear.
