This works with a Dell G7 15 7590 , using it for basic work, it more than doubled the battery life. Mine works great!

compatibility page "incompatible" with expectations
This compatibility page is useless. It doesn't list any but one Latitude laptop compatible with my new Dell Power Companion 6.

The battery requires a power adapter which is not written in the description.
I purchased it a week ago and just opened it up now I need to find the power adapter for it and dell is no help at all.

Wrong power supply/battery replacement for Alienw
The dell agent I spoke with sent the wrong power supply. It barley has enough power if at all to run and never charges fast enough.

Power Companion PW7015L & power supply
Verify you have the latest BIOS version installed on your laptop and it should work.
I cannot say per specific model of inspiron but it works for my old vostro 1520 (the large round connector) and with my inspiron 3500 (small round connector) everything is included to charge the battery and to connect to laptops with both the large and small round connectors. The charger can be used as a standalone power brick for the large round connector. I have a USB type C cable from a different dell battery, no the cable at this time cannot be purchased separately, and it works with my lattitude 7390 2in1.
If all 3 output to laptop cables were included this would be a perfect combination.
(USB C is not included)
I tried to use it on my HP laptop and it was not recognized as a power supply.
It can also be used as a recharge battery for most USB devices thru 2 USB ports

Web store incorrect information
Not the correct wattage. The web store shows it as correct but it is 65W and the laptop requires 90W. When connected shows an error message.

Needs separate power cable
I just bought the 18000mah unit - upon opening the box it said the power charging cable isn't included. What a joke - who would sell an external battery that didn't come with a charging cable. Do not buy this product without knowing or having the additional power charging cable.

So much better than the 12000mAh version
The 12000 version of this overheated, didn't charge the laptop and didn't seem to extend battery life significantly.
These devices aren't intended to charge a laptop from empty, but this one will give me 14+ hours of operation on my XPS13 (non-touch) and adds about two hours of runtime to my Precision 5530 (touch - similar to the XPS15). Pass on the 12000 version and buy this one.

Powerful and Versatile!
I bought this power bank to use with my Precision 5520 and 5530 mobile workstations. It comes with dual interchangeable output adapters which allow it to charge both legacy Dell Latitude laptops and the newer XPS and Precision models. Similarly, it can also receive power from the older 7.4mm barrel and the newer 4.5mm barrel AC adapters.
Battery life is about what you'd expect from an 18,000 mAh pack, I was able to fully charge my laptop, iPhone, and iPad with power to spare.
Form factor is excellent, as it fits perfectly in a nook next to the laptop sleeve in my backpack. Doesn't add much weight, either. Very easily portable!
All in all a GREAT addition to your mobile workstation loadout!

A Very Reliable Adaptor
I did not know such a device existed. I purchased it to charge a laptop at an old library service desk with no power. Has worked quickly and efficiently each time. Love it!

Dell Power Companion (18000mAh PW7015L& Slim Power Adapter
The above item works very well with my XPSL702X laptop. While the computer recognizes the power and adapter, it says it will run slower than the original one, I do notice a slight difference (original was 90, new one is 65) but at least this will allow me to continue using my laptop for now.
