Original 4 GB was not enough
With the software loaded on my new Dell Inspiron the base 4GB RAM was not enough. The Task Manager indicated the memory usage was typically over 85%. Adding another 4GB has improved the speed on the basic computer.

PC RUNNING SLOW
My PC was taking an inordinate time to start up and then to run software. Was at the point of upgrading the machine, but saw a few reviews on upgrading the memory and, for the relatively small cost, decided to give it a go.
The memory was easy to fit and what a difference. Start up is faster and software loads in an instance. A real noticeable difference and an additional bonus of saving on the cost of a new PC upgrade!!

Dell should not sell low memory equipment.
Following 3 months struggle with my new Inspiron 3470, finally Pratteek Nayak of the Dell Advance Resolution Group diagnosed the problem in minutes and hence I bought and fitted the additional memory. Since then everything is just fine.
Dell should not sell low memory equipment with Windows 10.

Access to slot.
had to remove the hard drive/optical drive assembly to access the slot. After that it was cake. Ran great immediately. Huge difference in start up and surfing.

By adding an additional 4 GB of RAM, it turned my painfully slow computer into a fast one.

New Dell Computer
I'm not technically competent in IT. But, I can say I'm extremely satisfied with my new Dell computer. It's fast, and performs as expected.

Memory Card Does Not Fit as Advertised
The website stated that the card was the right one for my Optiplex 760. However it does not fit the card slot and I returned it over 2 weeks ago and received confirmation. And yet I have not received a refund or a credit to use with Dell on the right card or other product.

No Longer MAX'ing out memory Usage
New PC I bought came with only 4GB of RAM. Performance was OK...but went sluggish when I needed to open and run multiple Apps. simultaneously. Now with 8GB of RAM, multiple Apps. are open and all run very fast. Nice.
