Under the bar, under the limit
Some might say that ordinary computer speakers take up space on your office desk, which could lead to clutter and interference. With this sound bar, it fits right under the monitor, and it saves space on the desk. Sound is great, just like an ordinary stereo speaker.

Good quality but costly when you add a power cable
Great piece - - but unclear that it didn't come with a power cable. When you add the cost, it no longer is cost effective. But it is convenient with the Dell monitor.

Convenient Location
Location under monitor means it's out of the way, not taking desk space, not constantly being knocked over like regular speakers, and not creating more cable clutter. Sound quality is fine for the size.

Check compatibility before ordering.
Returned. Says its compatible with UltraSharp monitors, but wasn't compatible with my U2415b. Unfortunately, the product page lists compatibility with computers, not monitors, which doesn't make any sense.

Does to work with new Dell Monitors
Product does not work with the Dell monitor that I purchased it for. The product has a power connction that is unavailable my monitor. The product is usely. Dell did not provide enough description to warn of this . Dell offered this product to go with my new monitor and it does not work.

Application on non-Dell monitor
Bought this to enhance low volume sound on Acer monitor with small built in speakers. This Dell bar required an external power supply which sales person didn't know. Mounting method is for Dell monitors only. I will have to make a custom adapter to mount under my monitor. I am able to control volume over a much wider range. Am happy with the performance and size

Did not work with U2415.
This may not be a fair review of the AX510 sound bar but I used the Dell Chat to ask if the sound bar would work with the U2415 monitor and they assured me it would. The U2415 does not have a power connection for the AX510 and no place to mount it. I did like the 24 in monitor I bought 12 years ago and the sound bar with it and was looking forward to the new sound bar with a new monitor.

Easy to install if you watch the videos. Sounds good for a entry level unit. Would be nice if it went to sleep with the computer

Good basic sound bar
The Sound Bar works well with my monitor. I usually connect my headphones to it, but like the fact that I can adjust the volume as needed

BE CAREFUL
Although I asked the rep if this speaker would work with the computer and monitor I selected, it did not. The speaker did not attach to the monitor and could not be plugged into the monitor or the computer. I have to return it and cannot get help.

No Comparision to AC511 with USB
Returned all four of these bars. They require a special monitor that they can plug into for power, or a power adapter that is sold separately. They also require a line in cord that has to run all the way to the PC. Our "old" AC511 Dell soundbars have a simple USB connection that provides power and signal which is a much more elegant solution.

AX510 Sound Bar
The AX510 did not satisfy my requirements with the Dell U2718Q Monitor that I purchased in the same order. They are not compatible. I do not receive any audio from the AX510. I plan to return the AX510 for a refund and have acquired another (non-Dell) speaker system.

I WAS A FIRST-TIME SHOPPER OF DELL . I PURCHASE THE AX510 SOUNDBAR THINKING THAT IT CAME WITH THE ADAPTER FOR THE WALL POWER SUPPLY BUT DIDN'T EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD IT DID NOW I AM STUCK WITH A USELESS SOUNDBAR
