Cord that saved us money
We had an opportunity to buy an out of the box Dell computer for half price but it did not have a plug. The correct plug was not easy to find, in fact we originally purchased one that was not compatible. We contacted Dell and they directed us to this one and it works like a charm.

Perfect Power Adaptor for Vostro Laptop
Original power cord for Vostro 7500 split, preventing the laptop from taking a charge. This adapter fits the smaller-than typical power port for the Vostro perfectly, and got me back to work. Comes with the peace of mind that it is directly from Dell.
Tip - check to see what size connector you need to make sure you buy the right power adapter.

Quality product, easy return
The package arrived and the cord looked like a very heavy duty cord. I would have been very pleased with it but apparently I ordered the wrong one. The end that came on my cord would not fit in my laptop. It was very easy for me to do a return. And now i'm going to actually talk to a person when I order a cord again. So I make sure I get the right one.

Should have come with this adapter
This is the power adapter that should have shipped with my new Dell laptop. I am not happy that I had to spend more money to purchase it. The included USB power adapter took up the only Thunderbolt port--which is located toward the front of the laptop. Power cords should be at the back of the computer where they are out of the way.,

Doesn't fit XPS.
Web description says it goes with XPS, but it does not. The XPS doesn't have the right port for the cord to go in.

Laptop Charger
Works as advertised. I bought a cheaper off-brand version that would not charge my laptop. Stick with the Dell.

Nice and small and bright light.
Works great. Plus feature is the LED light in the connector to the computer, downside is the same LED light as it is a very bright night light.

Power pack works fine but shouldn't be needed.
DELL supplied a 130 watt power pack with my Inspiron laptop which uses a usb-c connector to plug into the Thunderbolt 4.0 port. That makes the Thunderbolt port unusable for anything else. I bought the 130 watt power pack with a 4.5 mm barrel plug to utilize the power jack and open up the Thunderbolt port. The power pack works fine but I shouldn't have had to spend the extra money to purchase an additional power pack. After all, what's the point of having a power jack if you're going to use one (of only three) of the usb ports to power the laptop.

Works, But Warm
It works fine, but if you ask me, it still seems to get too warm. Though not as ridiculously hot as the older 45 watt charger I had been using.

Great product, works as advertised
Works as advertised with my Dell XPS 9560. The original that came with my laptop got really worn down and the wires were exposed and started to break (as it's been 7 years of heavy use and moving around) so it was time to get a new one. No complaints thus far. Has been about a month since I got it.

OK but overpriced
Item was fine, but it's twice as expensive from Dell than from any online retailers. Only purchased because I needed it ASAP and Dell was the fastest option.

AC Adapter
I would have liked to have the option to just replace the cord attached to the computer connector, but (as far as I could tell) Dell affixed that cord permanently to the adapter. So, that wasn't an option. With the consistent use the Dell 130W 4.5mm AC adapter gets, it was still only the cord that needed replacement. Instead, I had to spend quite a bit more for the whole unit.

AC adaptor remedy
I've been having issues with my computer for months now. the issue was diagnosed as being my AC adaptor cord. I ordered this adaptor, hooked it up to my computer and now feel as though I have a new one. This cord was great and solved all of my issues.

Bad to Good
I tried to help Dale out by ordering my power cord myself, but I ended up ordering one with the wrong end. I got a barrel by mistake. But the gentleman who helped me get it all straight was very kind. I haven’t checked to see if I got my money back, but I’m sure it went through.

Would be much better if the connector to the laptop was at a right angle.
There is no doubt that this adapter is well made. HOWEVER, most other brands use power cords where the plug is at a right angle as it enters the laptop's power port. With this adapter, the cord sticks straight out, which prevents easily tucking the cord behind the laptop. This battery is an replacement, because the where the cord goes into the plug, the covering separated the plug, exposing the wires and shortly after that, one of the wires broke inside the covering. I was very disappointed that the new adapter still sticks straight out.
