I selected my case and protective glass based on those search parameters only. I wound up with a case and glass for a Pro XT, which is much bigger than the phone I bought and searched for on your site. I didn't find out it didn't fit until I tried to get the glass on. Of course, it didn't fit, and I had to return everything. I'm hoping for a full refund. When someone does a search on your site, your search should return only for the specs asked.

I have yet to determine if it just doesn’t align with my specific charger, that stands the phone up on the nightstand, or if the case itself doesn’t actually work with the mag-safe. Either way, the case does its job and looks good doing it!!

The case just does not fit right at all. I have bought Otter Box cases for all of my phones and this is the only one that hasn’t been of great quality.

It is way too easy for it to hit an edge and crack the screen, which is exactly what happens to my wife’s new phone. If it wasn’t for me purchasing a separate tempered glass protector it would have been a big problem. I’ve owned countless OtterBox cases for my iPhones over the years but this part of the design on this case seems flawed to me.

I purchased two different items with the intention of returning the one that I didnt want. Printed the return label and dropped off at the post office on 09/26. Item tracking shows that it still has not been received and it is 'on the way.' The return has sat in the USPS system for 17 days without any movement. The Customer Service at Otterbox is impossible to reach as I don't have time to wait on hold with 34 callers ahead of me. The one time I did reach an agent, I was put on hold. The agent abandoned the call and never returned to the line. Again the quality of the product is fine. The service is the reason I will not purchase from here again. There are too many other similar products in the market. I am out over $100. Otterbox will also deduct $5 for a return shipping charge. Zero customer support / service.

A fall from less than 1 foot caused a my screen protector to shatter. Right where the case is open. Been buying a case since the iPhone 5 and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Apparently the border around the cameras lifted the phone up and it would not connect properly with the MagSafe charger. I purchased the Symmetry case and that works perfectly. Sorry it didn't work out.

What I don't like is the design on the back of my case, High Desert, already has 2 nicks in it from just carrying the case in the pocket. The durability of the nice design is lacking in quality. I think a person would be better off just buying the case with a clear back, buying a different brand, or understanding that you're case is going to look beat up even if you never drop it.

Nice! My only complaint is that I feel like the case was a slightly more hard material than it used to be. I did get used to it though. But at first it was slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise I would have given it 5 starts easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent case The Defender Series Pro XT Case with Magsafe is a nicely designed, robust case that was easy to install onto my iPhone 16 Pro Max; the case is fairly low profile and does not add too much bulk to my phone overall. All of the my phone's function buttons work with the case installed and the clear back is a thoughtful design consideration to allow appreciation of my phone's distinct color. The MagSafe maintains a solid mount on my various chargers and the charging/data port dust cover offers excellent protection too.

I wanted to love this case as much as I’ve loved my others in the past but I was disappointed that it was just a giant cutout for the camera control button on the iPhone 16 Pro Max case. I buy these cases for every phone for the best all around protection but I didn’t feel like my phone was protected with a big cutout like that :(

The back print is already peeling just 2 weeks in(i work behind a desk too, not any hard labor or anything) the back print also looks very cheap. Unlike the online pictures where the marble or rock art looks very nice and legit. Also, the mag safe circle and line on the back is much more prominent(And dumb looking) in person then it was online. Overall, upset to say the least. Would love to trade it in for a more plain case.

I’ve seen some complaints in other reviews about it getting scratches in it, however I have not seen any scratches on the back of my case. I have the floral pattern that is actually a periwinkle color more than blue. Since periwinkle is my favorite color it was perfect. I thought the cut out for the camera would be a problem but it has not been. You have to press the camera button for the camera to come on, so you are not going to do it by accident in my opinion. This is a very nice case and has been perfect for me. I have put OtterBox cases on every iPhone I have ever owned and will continue to do so.

This is the second iPhone generation I’ve purchased the defender XT for. I love that the back is clear to allow the color of the phone to shine through but also 360 free protected from drops, dings, smacks and whacks. Screen is 100% exposed to allow for seemly swiping and scrolling. Camera button cut out is a LITTLE awkward to use just because of the depth of the bumper but I feel it’s more important to have a buffer between the ground and the phone than to be less awkward. Raises numbers around all exposed screens, lenses and openings allow for impact dispersement to be directed through the case instead of your screens or camera lenses and no more worrying about how gentle you are when you put it down on the counter or your desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish & Protective OtterBox Defender cases are always great. USB-C port has dirt and dust protection. And the clear option embraces the design of your device. It’s also thin, stylish, and doesn’t add too much bulk. I appreciate the MagSafe compatibility. However the wide open area for the Camera Control on iPhone can be seen as undesirable. It’s completely open for potential damage. An integrated conductive touch layer in this case would have been much better especially for this price. Much like how Apple has done for their 1st party cases.

I will never buy another case from Otter Box again and here’s why,,, the magnet isn’t half as strong as the no name brand I had. I hit a good bump and it’ll fall off my holder in my 2025 Escalade, and the same holder held my no name case perfectly. And I’ve had this case for 10 days and it’s fallen out of the belt clip at least 8 times , so ,,, I bought a no name brand again I’m gonna try and get my money back ! Absolute ridiculous price for junk !, and I used to LOVE Otter Box, no more !,

This one really disappointed me with the fact that they left part of the screen unprotected because of the new touch pad. I really wish they would change this design and put the trim piece all the way around like it has been to protect the phone beside making it comfortable to hold because this case is not it unfortunately.

Also the rubber on parameter of phone is stained very easy. Case already looks terrible after a week of use and no way to clean off the staining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty But…That Camera Notch Is Awkward I really want to love this case for the IPhone 16 ProMax but I’m struggling. The pros: The floral pattern/color is beautiful. Also, the mag safe charging seems to work well with the case. The cons: The HUGE cutout notch for the camera button makes holding the phone feel very akward. It is hard to type without nearly dropping the phone. I’m sure it was drop-tested but having a huge exposed opening on my case makes me nervous and I question how much protection is really provided. I also don’t like the idea of the button itself not having protection from dust/damage. I have been a huge supporter of the Otterbox Defender series ever since I bought my 1st smartphone many, many years ago. This is the 1st time I’ve ever felt like the Otterbox case might fail me and might actually be the cause of damage to my phone because it is difficult to hold/grip. I hope I’m wrong. Also, when I ordered the case I selected the free clip option because I like to have those on hand. I was disappointed to open my package and see that I have to order that separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed with camera button approach I rely on OtterBox to provide complete protection for my handsets. I’ve been using otter boxes since the iPhone 4s. I am at a loss with their decision not to have the case wrap around the complete perimeter of the phone. Currently, near the camera button, there is an exposed 2” edge where the screen meets with the metal frame. Even with a screen protector, this is a very vulnerable edge that is not protected. I may have to look at other brands for the meantime and hope that OtterBox might revise the case design of the 16pro max.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy but discolors quickly and easily. Quickly became discolored. While it is sturdy, the overall look is very dusty and gross. I'd recommend only going for the darker color. I was excited about the purple and thought it looked nice, but even attempts to clean the rubber aren't making it look any less gross. I haven't even had it for a month and I already don't want to keep carrying it.

It makes it easier to find, and gives you a good resting point for holding the phone. I have not yet dropped my phone (hope not too), but I feel it is protected in this case. I would purchase again.

I'm prone to dropping my phone and felt very protected with this case. No problems fitting it into my cross body purse and it wasn't slippery so didn't go sliding anywhere.

Also the entire clip came off my belt, the phone came out and hit the pavement, the case hit the pavement. Luckily no damage to either one. My wife has dropped her phone several times while riding her horse, but there has never been any damage to the phone because of the great protection of the Max Defender case.

For 25 years I’ve had an Otterbox case protecting every iPhone I’ve ever owned so I know what it feels like to hold an Otterbox. The quality was off in the design and the materials were too lightweight. It lasted one week and the back cover started cracking. Thankfully Otterbox has always had the best warranty coverage of anyone out there and that’s why I’ve been with them for 25 years. They always make it right.
