Not what I expected this time
We have been using Otterbox phone cases for years & have always been happy with the protection. We recently got new phones and immediately ordered our Otterbox cases before we even picked up our phones. Sadly, we only had two color choices, black and ugly green. Then, upon receipt, we discovered that there was no screen cover. I called Otterbox to tell them they were forgotten and learned that it no longer comes with one. NO screen protection. This is our last Otterbox.

Prevent damage
Protected my iPhone 6S with an Otterbox. It saved me many potential problems and damages to my phone. When I upgraded to an iPhone 15, I instantly ordered a new Otterbox for it. An Otterbox is the best protection you can have for your phone. It prevents damaged and broken phones, rather than trying to fix the phone once it is damaged.

old design limits functionality
Case is fine but I wish you'd made a new case for the 16e. hiding the multi-function button behind a flap was fine when it was a switch, but now that it's a programmable button I'd like to be able to hit it any time to pull up the camera or whatever, but instead its a process to get to it which makes it a lot less useful.

Bring back life proof case please
Please bring back the life proof cases, this is not durable enough for my line of work. I know I’ll be needing a new one in less than a year. Not waterproof and not a fan of separate screen protectors.

Two Opposite Problems
The case fits and looks amazing. There are two main issues. The first is probably an obvious one: because the iPhone 16e has only one camera lens, the hole cut out of the case for the lenses present in other phones is too large for the 16e, and it ends up looking awkward.
The second is that the cover over the side button prevents using that feature as much as would be useful.

Good product! I’ve owned many Otterbox cases and this one has buttons that are slightly off so that when I try to decrease the volume, it shuts off my phone….just a minor annoyance.

Fits perfect ! I buy nothing but Otter box defender in every new phone I get. Flew off the back of my motorcycle and someone picked it up and followed me and gave it to me unharmed. It’s a very strong case ! Wouldn’t buy anything else!

Great case, but…….
Overall, a very solid feel to it, installation was easy, the outer surface feel is very secure and grip feel is great. The only negative is the cover over the USB-C port, a bit difficult to grip the charging cable to remove it due to the port cover. Contemplating to just cut it off, as it is a bit cumbersome. Otherwise, the case does what I got it for, a very secure and protective case for my phone.

The best case
This is the only case I have ever and will ever use. I spaz out and throw my phone across the room more often than I’d like to admit, and almost immediately after putting this case on my phone, I stood up from the car with it in my lap, singing it careening across the parking lot. Not a scratch on the phone.

Great Case for Construction
This is a great case. I work in the construction industry and having a rugged case like this and the dust guards over the charge port helps keep my phone clean. The MAG SAFE magnet is super strong and reliable.

Apps are open... forever

Worth it!
As a teacher with behavioral students who like to throw my phone on multiple occasions, an OtterBox case is an ESSENTIAL for me. This Defender Series Pro gives me the confidence that if my phone is grabbed off the table and chucked into the ceiling or wall, my phone is safe from damage. Literally, it has been thrown multiple times without any issues. The only thing I've needed to replace is the separate screen protector that I have. This case gives me peace of mind.

Like the 3 piece design. The 2 plastic pieces forms a secure fit around phone. The outer rubber piece offers great grip and a cushioning effect for accidents. The holster need improvement, great clip for belt and stand, but the fastening snap easily breaks.

Frustrating customer service
I didn't get the case I needed. Despite repeated emails with customer service, the replies were generic and I suspect, AI generated. I said I needed a textured case for grip because I have arthritic hands. The one that was recommended had that but also had tiny flaps over the silencing button and plug-in, that are impossible for me to manipulate. Had I been able to have a real conversation with a human, perhaps this detail wouldn't have been overlooked and I would have been directed to the right one. I had an Otterbox case on my old phone that worked fine, but this one is over-designed.

Otterbox was recommended to me in Los Angeles long ago. The Defender Series is my go-to and my wife demanded I buy her one, too. Be sure to order what you want from the website rather than risk what’s available in store. My wife wanted purple but Otterbox only had a cool pink on hand, shame on them.

one drop and a cracked screen
It did not protect my new iphone14!!.I purchased this thinking it would keep my phone from getting damaged but unfortunately it just took one drop from about 2 feet on to a wooden floor to cause a crack right down the middle of the screen ..Im so sorry I gave up my Kyocera dura force that never got damaged no matter how many times it was dropped thru the years or whatever it was dropped on.. I rated this one star for its comfortable feel and grip.
