This intuitive counterbalance monitor arm gives laptop users both superlative positioning options – and cooling functionality. It's ideal for use in uncooled warehouses, warm-climate outdoor sites, lobbies, conference rooms, classrooms, or any place that requires a laptop with a fan. The arm clamps to any table or countertop up to 3.34-inches thick with the included hardware kit. This mount also includes a grommet mount for permanent attachment. The fan sits beneath a laptop and blows cool air into the bottom device vents. It easily attaches to the mount via standard VESA plate. To fit the laptop, place front edge along the 2 front brackets, and turn the grey knobs until side brackets grip the sides of the laptop. Then rotate rear bracket arms to clamp laptop in place. Rubber grip pads beneath the fan unit prevent sliding. This fan case has plenty of space to store and route USB cable from the fan unit into laptops. A flexible hinge allows for tilting and 360-degree rotation of the laptop. Arm positions are easily adjusted via the included Allen keys. Rated for 7 – 15-inch laptops from 4.4 - 15.4 lbs.
