Great value!
Very fast backups! I transferred close to 400 Gb from a MacBook Air n less than 20 minutes. It's also able to play movie files right from the Crucial; no need to copy it back to the laptop. And it's a SIGNIFICANTLY better value than ordering a larger built in SSD drive from Apple. I'm very happy with this drive!

Super speedy device, easy to use, my only minor niggle was I needed to buy separately a USB-A adapter to use with my laptop if helpful for anyone non technical like me - ha ha!! Brilliant all round service and tracked delivery too!

Tried to register it several times on several different devices to register it. Support suggested clearing cache, etc but without success. Told not to try again until someone contacted me … but nothing so far

Very pleased with purchase
This was a gift for my husband. I did research for the best product and i believe this was the best in my price range. As i havent used it i cannot say about performance but it is a compact, stylish product that feels good quality.

Great little external drive
The X9 Pro is a bit more expensive than its little brothers (or sisters) but it seems worthy : the transfers are very quick, the size factor is great and it seems reliable (with a 5 years warranty).

Crucial X9 Pro 2TB Portable SSD
I use the external drive to copy folders and files from my Windows 11 hard drive. I want to make sure I have copies of those files if the system should go down. The drive appears to be doing what it is supposed to do.

Bought the Pro 2TB SSD formatted it myself for use on Mac (cheaper than buying a Mac specific SSD) and within minutes it was working!
