The SSD memory worked properly.
The SSD memory was easy to install and worked properly. The cloning software partitioned over 1 TB for the Windows Recovery when only 1 GB was needed. I used third party software to fix the problem.

Replaced my HP 840 G6 1TB SSD with this 2TB SSD and Restored Windows 11 from the original SSD. Computer works great and I have plenty of storage to edit 4K videos.
Bought an enclosure and am using the 1TB for USB-C SSD drive. Hoping to use that on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I recommend this drive.
Not much to say other than it works very well. I use it for an external drive for raw video that will be edited directly from the drive. It's fast and with a good enclosure it stays warm, not hot. This is my new go-to NVMe.

Although the cloaning appeared to work, the computer would NOT boot from the new drive. Support only suggested the normal stuf to try and did not help produce the desired results.

The Product Itself is Excellent
As typical of Crucial, the SSD itself is excellent. Easy install using the Crucial-specific Acronis software provided. Fast and running cool. However, one is surprised to find out Crucial still won't offer Fahrenheit as an option within its Crucial Storage Executive software.

Now working in my Dell Desktop satisfactorily
Had some issues to work through to get the SSD working.
I was not aware that I would need an M.2 screw to complete the installation. So I had to order the screw and wait to install.
Found hint on Crucial Forum to turn off RAID in BIOS to get PC to recognize SSD. Was blocked for a while before finding this.
Used clonezilla to clone existing HDD to new SSD. Had some problems attempting to boot Desktop with both drives due to id conflicts. Took a while to sort that out.
SSD working fine now and speedup of desktop PC is very good.

This worked right away and has been reliable
The installation of this drive went smooth and I haven't had any issues with it at all. I don't usually give five stars, but there's no justification for me to not give five stars since it's been working as expected since I installed it a month ago. Even using a third part (AOMEI Partition Assistant) to copy data from my former SSD to the new Crucial SSD went smooth and didn't take any extensive amount of time.

Great drive - don't buy it direct
The drive is great. I was short on space with a 280GB system disk and 1TB secondary SSD. Replaced both with a 2TB drive, and couldn't be happier with the performance. It's also an efficient drive, meaning my motherboard now runs a couple of degrees cooler when the fans are idled down.

After returning the gen5 ssd, this one finally works for my PC. No hiccups so far(after two months).
I guess I should take the compatibility test on the site with a grain of salt. I have the Omen 25L pc(gt15-1000) and it was not compatible with gen5.
