Perfect for my Lenovo C940 14"
Works perfectly in my Lenovo C940 14" laptop. Old SSD kept causing computer to crash multiple times a day. Cloned that SSD onto this new one and haven't had a crash since (that's 10 days and counting).

Must-have upgrade for old laptop
Replacing my HDD hard drive with SSD brings my laptop back to live. I no longer need to wait 30+ minutes for my laptop to start up and load everything. It comes up in a few minutes.

The hardware is very good
The hardware is very good. However, when I contacted phone support, the technician never sent me the instructions and files he promised. Once I figured out the problem ON MY OWN, it turns out the tech misdiagnosed the issue anyway.

It was good. The only thing is that I wish there were instructions for how to put it in. They have general instructions, but that's not always helpful since each computer is different.

Pleasantly Satisfied With The Speed

This product does not work in a Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF
This product was sold as compatible with a Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF. It is not. I tried it in 2 different machines and neither computer would even boot up. Tech support said I needed to put it in the 2.5" SATA connector, which makes no sense at all. Very disappointing

Direct replacement for slower memory
Was easy to exchange this for the much slower memory even though I didn't see a great deal of performance in the laptop after changing it, testing shows that it is much faster.

Love it
I upgraded from an HDD. Boot time went from over a minute to a few seconds for ubuntu 10.04. I love it so much I bought and installed a second one to dedicate to win 10. I've been running it for nearly a year and no problems whatsoever. The price point is very good.

Used in my sole laptop. Nothing seems to overstretch it. It would have been useful for the packet to contain instructions for the situation where this was replacing an SATA drive.

A very worthwhile update
Software programs are getting bigger and faster all the time, and my 5 year old laptop was running out of space on drive C, so i needed more program space and faster processing. This new, latest, card has excelled on both counts. It's like having a new car and efficient laptop. Brilliant. Thank you Crucial.

contacted tech support still no offer of a refund they insist i havnt installed it correctly i have installed 1000's of drives before ordered a wd hdd and it works fine avoid this m2 ssd

I would love to buy again Crucial product.
I'm using it on my Alienware 15r3 for System & Networking purposes. Crucial's system scanning tool is amazing and I've been using it for quite some time.
