Either incompatible with XPS or defective
After cloning my old drive over to the P3 Plus and installing the P3 Plus, it failed the startup checks, specifically the DST short test. I was unable to find a resolution for this problem. However, I had a SSD enclosure that I'd bought for cloning the old drive over, so basically I ended up using this as an external hard drive. Not the upgrade I was hoping for when I bought it, but still useful in its own way.

It's perfect. Works great.
I bought this 4TB M.2 NVME to upgrade my Lenovo X1 Carbon from 512MB to 8 times more. And it is great. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it took 15 days to arrive.

Cant get my computer to recognize it
I've never had a problem with Crucial memory before. I can't get my Lenovo P1 Gen 5 to recognize the new SSD. I was able to clone my drive to the SSD, but the SSD won't boot.

4TB is the max size M.2 SSD for the asus rog zephyrus G14 (2022 model)
Any higher and the chips won't fit the enclosure.

The SSD is not compatible with DELL XPS13 (9360) as stated in Crucial Website. The customer service told me I can return the SSD. I am not wishing to do it as some sensitive data might be stored in SSD.

Perfect addition to any laptop with an expansion slot.
Added to my new laptop as a secondary drive that I use for mostly running games along with other general use. Might upgrade to a larger size later, but it works perfectly and runs smooth. If you're looking to add space, it's a perfect addition to any laptop (or even desktop) with a PCIe M.2 2280 expansion slot.

Superior every time
My several 100 DVD's are ripped to .mkv files, stored on a 4TB SSD stick. This is housed in a caddy, with a 2nd stick for future growth. It's taken over from my old 8TB hard drive, so the silence & tiny size are fab; plus if I ever drop it it won't break

The cheapest choice for PS5 users
Install almost all the games you want in one space with vast capacity.
The speed immediately after formatting recognized by the ps5 was similar to 4200MB/s.

A great Value for a reliable Drive
This SSD was very easy to install in my Lenovo P17 Gen 1. This was one of the fastest single-sided 4TB SSD in this form factor that would work in my laptop, I have no complaints. It seems to be a great value for the Data transfer speed.

2 separate drives would not work in my ASUS board
It's been over a month dealing with Crucial and ASUS Support and I am still currently in limbo with 2 drives that were brand new and non-functional. Buyer Beware.

Not compatible with G16 laptops..
Device failed to register as soon as it was installed in my asus g16 laptop. Booted in safe mode, turned off bitlocker and even tried swapping places with the boot drive m.2. At first this worked so i could initialize and partition it, then it stopped showing up no matter what. Drivers didnt fix it. No support from crucial because they need a special order password (not provided if you check out as guest) to prove you bought it at all. 10 years of experience and this over engineered bookmark was not willing to cooperate. All i can do is keep leaving reviews about my experience so no one else has to waste their money and risk static shocking their other components by introducing this faulty hardware from crucial.

4TB Used in an OWC 1M2 PCIe card in a 2019 MacPro. Read speeds the similar to Apple's SSD but the write is much faster. Apple: Write:1446 MB/s Read:2757 MB/s Crucial: Write: 2842 MB/s Read: 2615 MB/s

Needed a storage drive for a 3rd vacant M.2 slot.
Most all Nvme's drives will need a heatsink under a load and especially if it is next to a large graphic card. Just found a very economical copper laptop type heatsink to adequately control the temperature.

I bought a docking station for my new MacBook Pro that had a slot for a PCIe M.2 SSD. I immediately thought of Crucial products and ordered up the 4tb model for backups when it's plugged in. It worked flawlessly

Yes, this 4TB M.2 drive works in the HP ZBook 17 G6
Installed this 4TB M.2 drive in my HP ZBook 17 G6 mobile workstation, and it works fine. The factory specs for this ZBook only specify M.2 drives up to 2TB, likely because 4TB M.2 drives were not available at the time. The chipset in the machine recognizes all of the 4TB's just fine. Crucial said the drive would be compatible with my notebook after I plugged in the specs and they were right. Thank you!
