Rated 5 out of 5 byJoel from Great M.2 SSDI bought this M.2 SSD to replace the SanDisk that failed in my HP Envy laptop. When trying to research which brand of M.2 would work with this laptop, I found that the answer wasn't cut and dry. Crucial won my business because they are able to clearly show what products are compatible with my particular device. I tried to shop other brands, but couldn't find what would specifically work. My Crucial arrived, installed it in the laptop and was immediately able to begin installing my operating system. Add to that, the nice tools that came with this purchase, and I'm a happy camper. And the price is really competitive. With the 5 year warranty, I'm hopeful this SSD lives up to my expectations of an SSD (not happy the OEM SanDisk completely failed in 2 years with low use).

Rated 5 out of 5 byTom from I would recommend this productI installed this SSD onto my Acer e575-33bm laptop and the performance improvement has been noticeable. Although to get the most out of the SSD I recommend installing the Crucial Storage Executive program. That really made the drive run much better. Windows boots up almost instantaneously and there is a dramatic improvement in launching apps and programs. Worth the minor cost for the substantial performance improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJim from Crucial saved me money againMy son's Acer Swift3's hard drive died so I ordered the Crucial MX500 250GB M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSD to replace it. I had to do a little research to properly format the drive using the Acronis utilities that Crucial provided with the drive, but after that it was a snap. I re-installed Windows on the new drive from a USB and my son's laptop was back up and running like new - in fact better than new with a clean Windows installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJimbo from PerfectCompatible with my computer like the site said it would be. Just plug and play more or less if the computer didn't have issues beforehand. Will use the site again to buy more memory and hard drives if I need them. Showed up fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRob from Love it! Works perfectly and faster than my stock driveI bought this for my Acer Aspire R7-572 I use for work. I know that that sounds awkward, but I AM an IT guy. This machine has given me zero problems in the last 3 years I've had it at work and is much faster with this drive in it than what I had in their before. This machine is much faster with it than most of the computers we have at work that include Dell, HP, Lenovo and Mac brands...so don't go thinking one brand is better than the other. Sometimes they are and sometimes they're not. This drive has been the difference between me loving this computer and a coworker using the same computer with a slower drive hating theirs.

Rated 5 out of 5 bykwattage from Crucial MX500 250GB M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSDThis module is listed as being compatible for a Dell Inspiron 15 (5575). That is partially true - it is compatible if you plan on using it for a storage drive - but you will need an adapter to make it work in place of the the 2.5 inch drive. If however, you plan on using it for a boot drive and want to use the M2 slot on the motherboard - this type of device will not work. You need to have a drive that is PCIe and NVMe capable.
