Compatibility checker recommended this RAM for the Asus G14 GA401i. The laptop would not boot up after installing the new ram. I tried reseating the RAM multiple times but no luck. I reinstalled the old RAM card and the computer booted up right away, so I know I was installing the RAM correctly. I had to pay for RMA shipping for the new RAM that did not work, which does not make sense when the company guarantees compatibility.

This was used to upgrade a laptop that only came with 8 GB's of RAM. As many already know, the latter versions of Windows, like Windows 10 or 11, eat a lot of horsepower up. So need more RAM to keep up.

Excellent l service and product. Pay more to avoid the post
Consider paying to upgrade delivery as postal service is not what it once was. The UPS shipping actually hands off to the post office for the final delivery leg and then it falls into a black hole.

It was a vast improvement to my laptop.
I used the component to upgrade my RAM capacity on my laptop. It was necessary for me to run the various programs I needed for school and work. It was an easy install into my machine and has vastly improved the performance of my computer. I can run all the programs simultaneously without lag or crashing. An extremely good purchase.

Fauly RAM, made computer crash
After install my computer would crash randomly every few minutes to every few hours. Removing the RAM fixed everything. Bad luck or problem with install? Either way, I'm reluctant to order again.

The Right Part and a Great Price!

I upgraded my laptop from 8 to 16GM RAM as my need for multitasking increased. I went to Crucial's website because it's easy to navigate and order the correct part for the computer. As soon as the package arrived I quickly laid the laptop upside down and changed the RAM. The laptop became very fast - faster than I could have imagined!

Finally got my Laptop speed to 3200MHz. Other Memory RAM I've purchased from other companies advertised 3200MHz but I was only getting 2667MHz. But with Crucial RAM the speeds advertised are legit.
