It was RAM. You plug it in and it works. It's hard to review RAM unless you're a serious benchmark geek. If it fits in the slot and is recognized by the OS, you're done.

Really improved speed in my old HP desktop. Which I especially needed for video editing. It wasn't a day to night difference in speed but defiantly noticeable. When compared to buying a new computer its a win.

Incompatible memory module to Synology RS2418+
This memory module is not compatible with Synology RS2418+. We have purchased two Synology RS2418+ units for our company. After installed the memory module to the Synology NAS, the system is not boot up and the LED is flashing with blue light for a long time. We will need to get the original memory to setup the NAS first and upgrade the memory to this memory module. After boot up the NAS, we got the message in the log that stated this memory is not compatible with the system. Please purchase the Synology memory. I found the Synology manufacture recommended module is ECC memory but this model is not. I am not sure if ECC is the issue. When I tried to contact the support in Crucial, they just stated this memory is compatible. They don't try to solve the issue appeared on the logs in the NAS. The support is so bad.

I DID buy this product again to fix a screw up.
I upgraded my RAM to assist with running two screens and multiple programs at once including 3D architectural software. I am experiencing great results and love the product for that.
