The ComNet 2 Fiber Multimode Media Converter is a one-channel Ethernet electrical to optical media converter. This auto-negotiating device accepts a 100 Mb/s electrical input and converts it to a 100 Mb/s optical output. It uses multimode and single-mode optical fiber and one and two fiber SC and ST optical connectors. The LED indicators confirm operational status. It is environmentally hardened with no electrical or optical adjustments and comes packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing.
