It fits and looks really good. A little bulkier than the symmetry case, but feels safer for a drop. I’ve always purchased OtterBox cases. I would love to have the old mix and match color options. This is a good looking case, but I think a black rubber interior with the green would look really slick. I guess I could buy 2 different colored cases, but I’m probably not going to. Over all a really great case as always.

Excellent Balance of Design and Peace of Mind!
As with all Otterbox cases, this case offers a great balance between protection and slim design. Not as bulky as the Defender series (and there is no attached screen protector as part of the case) but I have been using this series for almost 8 years now and it's great.
The case is very well designed and engineered. Some have note that the side camera focal slide (opposite of the volume buttons) seems to be somewhat exposed. Yet after using this new case (my 16 Pro Max was an upgrade from my 12 Pro Max) for almost two months, I have found no concerns or weaknesses in the design. Keep in mind, no case is foolproof (assuming the user is trying to drop their phone). Yet the slide focal button never comes into contact with any surface unless on purposely attempts to make it touch. This case offers a good balance of slim design, lighter weight, and is much less bulky that other cases purporting to be hyper-rugged.
Remember, it's an Otterbox! This company has been around over 25 years and what they design works! Or protects! I guess the difference depends on whether you are a glass half-empty or a half-full person! Highly recommend!

Almost perfect but…
It’s not bulky. 95% of the case I love. That other 5% I didn’t like was actually a dealbreaker. The cutout for the camera control. Left a lot of the edge of screen exposed. While playing/scrolling on the phone my finger wanted to go there and didn’t feel the best. I would also hit the camera control button when putting it in my pocket

Wish I hadn’t bought it.
I’m usually really happy with Otterbox products but this Commuter case is really disappointing. For some reason the upper left corner of my phone keeps slipping out and the MagSafe magnets aren’t nearly as strong as some other MagSafe compatible products I’ve used.

Durable and reliable products

Great…, except
Like all the Otterbox’s I’ve had before the fit, finish and quality are great. My only complaint is the notch missing around the new action buttons. Holding the case is backward and uncomfortable with the edge of the notch.

Hate the slot
Hate the slot but seems to offer good protection. The apple silicone looks a lot better but seems to be less sturdy than the Ottorbox. Especially since i do not see myself using the camera options anytime soon this seems an unnecessary frill.

Protects phone well

i usually buy my otterbox through amazon.That being said I went threw the otterbox web sight this time it was easier and I was able to find what I wanted so much easier. My case is perfect comfortable and excellent collor as always. just wish there was one with frogs on it lol.

Need to improve a picture of advertised to sell.
Your dept is designed a poor material and case. Not enough to hold iphone strength for impacting if drop. Most men are preferred to hold a strong rubber-material case as shockproof.
also We need to choose our favorite colors for our personals. We are tired to see more and more black rubber material at "Best Buy" store and " T-mobile" store. By the way, my favorite color is Neon bright blue,because it's too easier to notice it where I misplaced it.

Commuter Case for IPhone 16 pro max
Great product. Installed easy. Dropped my new phone a couple of days after install and had no issues. Good protection. I like being able to charge it on a Mag Safe charger and not having to plug in a cord.

The only brand I trust with my phones!
The Otterbox brand has never failed me!! Every phone I buy, I have always purchased an otterbox case because I have never had an issue with the quality and it does just what it says it will do- protect your phone from falls. I have dropped my phone more times than I’d like to admit- sometimes even accidentally smacking it across the room trying to catch it mid-fall- and these cases have always protected my phone. I didn’t have the case for the first couple of days after I bought my new phone so I was being ultra protective of it. The very next day after getting the case in and on my phone, I accidentally hit my hand that was holding the phone on the wall and it dropped/ skidded across the floor. I am SO lucky I had this case on because I just know if I didn’t, the back of my phone would have been messed up. If you are always dropping your phone or just want a case to protect your phone in case you ever drop your phone, the otterbox cases are for you!!

The case is to slick
Let me first say that I have owned Otterbox cases since my first iPhone, and have loved them. But I don’t like that this case is so slick. When I set my phone down on a desk it easily slides away. I miss the rubber case that keeps the phone where I set it. I have ordered the Defender case, I hope that it’s more like what I’m looking for.

Can't get used to case.
Been an Otter Box fan for years but the new case seems very flimsy!! Switched to a different brand! And with the notch for the camera button it's hard to grip my phone with case on!

This case leaves an area of the screen exposed where the camera button is. If the phone was to fall and it hit there the screen is done for. Bad design needs to be redesigned

Shipping is a nightmare
The color in my opinion is much lighter than advertised. OtterBox is always a good, safe option. This time around I was disappointed with the shipping methods and how long it took to receive. Obviously I’d continue to purchase OtterBox products but I would not do it from them directly.

Photo cut out is awkward
Good case but the cut out for the photo button is awkward when holding. It is also awkward to use since the change in height limits the finger movement.

New Otterbox Case Good, Not Great As Usual
I have always used and love Otterbox covers. My new on is good but a just a few disappointing things. The recessed lip to protect the phone, front and on the camera lens areas is not as raised as my earlier cases. Making my phone screen and camera lenses more vulnerable. Also, the new side button on the IPhone 16 Pro Max is not protected by the Otterbox case. I wish it had a soft plastic protective cover.
