The CommScope Fiber Optic Power Reducing Build-Out Attenuator is designed to reduce or balance the power in passive optical networks. Insertable between the connector and the adapter, it's suitable for distribution frames, cabinets and boxes. This attenuator with a nominal attenuation of 5 dB, operates at a wavelength of 1430 nm – 1625 nm. It has high system flexibility because of its wave-length independence and polarization insensitivity. This attenuator features an LC/APC interface.
