I always have to have these large picture command strips for all my hanging needs. Once in a while the humidity causes them the sticky to detach from the wall.But I always have more on hand!

Avoid at all cost
This does not do what Command promises and it will end up costing you more in the long run. I placed these birds on my wall on 5/16/19 and on 5/23/19 the 1st 1 fell and shattered. No serious damage to the wall at that point and only a small ding to my floor where it fell and broke. On 7/20/19 another 1 fell, this time it damaged the wall and it will cost me more to repair the damage wall. I followed the instruction on the package exactly before attaching. Just save yourself the time, energy, and money this will cost you in the long run.

Bought this twice, both times were failures. The maximum weight that it claims to be able to hold is false advertisement! Very annoyed that it didn’t work, overall a waste of money.

I have used them a lot, but have had mixed luck with heavy items even when I used many strips. Orange peel texturing is involved a lot on the southwest so maybe a little thicker strip would be helpful if available?

Amazing Useful Tool

No messy Nails in walls!
After finishing renovations on our home we hated the idea of knocking in nails and screws so decided to try command strips, so simple to use we've hung all our art work, it sits flat to the wall and looks fantastic, we also decided to use the strips and hooks in our laundry room and ensuite to keep the toothbrush holder and soap off the small space around the sink. I'll never knock a nail in the wall again!

Large pic hanging strips are AMAZING!
I use all command product because they make it so simple to hang anything. I never used the large strips for pictures before and was truly amazed when I hung these 3 canvas paintings over my bed. Not only do the hold fantastic but it was so easy for me to get them uniformed, I am always putting extra holes when I nailed anything & ruining my walls because I couldn't judge correctly. NOT anymore :-) Thanks Command, a woman's job done easier than ever!

worthless product
wanted to give it zero stars but the system would not let me. I can't ever remember using a product that failed so instantly. It's shocking that you continue to sell these worthless strips. I am a skilled homeowner and follow directions. Having plaster walls in my new "old" house forced me to try these. Walls were freshly painted two months ago. Waited 24 hrs before hanging pictures. All 3 fell off the wall before we left the room.

I hanged a frame using the command tapes of a textile canvas that I got as a gift. It fell within 5 mins, the glass shattered and it was all over the carpet. Highly not recommended.

A New Use for Picture Hanging Strips
These strips are wonderful for hanging quilts. I use several of the strips on the back of the quilt, depending on how big it is. I don't remove the strip over the glue. Instead, I whip stitch by hand the strip to the quilt since I'm not sure how the glue would hold on fabric or if it would cause damage to the quilt. For the other side of the strip, I mount it to the wall in the usual fashion, i.e., using the glue strip. When I snap the strips on the quilt to the strips on the wall, I can make minor adjustments to make it hang level. The quilt hangs absolutely flat against the wall and looks great.

Could the installation instructions be any smaller? I had to gone online looking for instructions that I could actually read but then couldn't find the product number on the package which I think is 17206-C. I foolowed the ones for a different product that looked similar.
This is for a treasured print of me dirt-biking with my father, son and brother-in-law many years ago in Revelstoke, BC. It's in a plastic frame with a glass pane so I sure hope it doesn't drop and smash.It had a very tough to remove wire with clips into the frame that I had to remove first.
Highly recommend you use a level to place it on the wall because you can't move it after it sticks. I was looking for the Command product that has a hook instead but couldn't find it.

Of course, I use the Command(TM) Large Picture Hanging Strips to mount frames on the wall, but I also used them to hide my Wi-Fi equipment behind and under pieces of furniture. Instead of having a router sitting on top of something, I can use the hanging strips to mount it on the underside of a table or behind a cabinet. I just need to leave lots of ventilation space around equipment that's mounted behind something.

Awful! Damaged our new sheetrock and paint!
Hung up very lightweight baskets on our wall, not even 1lb! And these left tears in our sheetrock! So unimpressed! I now have to speckle and repaint! I would have preferred a tiny nail hole vs these huge marks!

Flawless hanging without causing damage
I have been using command strips damage free hanging strips for roughly 5 years. Loved them until I didn’t
I used these a few years ago to hang my pictures for my gallery wall because I hate putting holes in the wall. I followed the directions to a T. A few months ago, two pictures fell down a few days apart. Then tonight, another picture fell right where I usually sit. I am not excited about the possibility of replacing this product because it was so much work to hang my pictures the first time.

I bought these to hang some new canvas prints. First, I couldn't get the strips to stick to the wood frame. When I finally did, I followed directions and held the frame against the wall. When I tried to separate the strips (per instructions), the strips stuck together on the frame and pulled a big chunk of paint off the wall.

Product FAILED!
Installed hangers according to instructions provided, prepped the walls, pressed into place and let sit for over 30 minutes. Hung my 4 oil painting done by a late aunt, in just 4 months 3 of the 4 paintings fell off the wall, slightly damaging one of them. That said, I’ve gone back to brass hangings with nails. Adhesive not strong enough to hold painting that weight 4 lbs. they should hold up to 5 lbs. To me these paintings were priceless, heirlooms to me!

I bought a brand new frame and these command strips. Super excited I got home hung it up. It lasted long enough for me to take a picture to show my sister my new addition and then crash! It fell breaking the frame I just purchsed. Sadly I do not recommend this product even though I had such high hopes for it.

AWESOME Product - Weights are confusing!!
Have used command for some time now, prefer the clear plastic hooks. However I have a huge amount of hooks, and no one sells the refills for them, at least here in MI. So I went to the picture hanging strips of which I have used most all sizes. As is stated, if you follow the directions exactly as written, they will work the way they should! NO SHORTCUTS, using window cleaner, or other household cleaners...these leave an oily residue on your surface. Rubbing alcohol does a great job and it is inexpensive! I am using the strips now, due to the fact that I cannot drill holes or pound nails into these walls, renting!
These products are great except for the price! I am on a fixed income, and $7.88 for two medium plastic/metal hooks is a bit pricey as are the strips. The Value pack is your best bet if you have an extra $13.00 to spend!
Also, the weights on your site do not match the packaging weights listed. On your site you go to 8 lbs, but I have packages that stipulate 9lbs, 12lbs and 16 lbs; and the higher you go in weight, the more expensive they are!
However, all in all, they are a great product and will continue to purchase as I need them!!

I used these to hang a wooden antique small produce box on the wall. It stayed for 11 years and one side came loose from the box. I see it as my mistake because the strips weren't aligned in that one area. I am impressed so much so I am going to place a 72 unit ink pad box because I have that much confidence. I will use 8 of the largest strips.

Still Hanging After All These Years!
I initially bought them to hang a heavy wooden wide framed 24x36 picture in my classroom. (Didn’t want to catch flack for putting holes in the walls) It’s been three years and its still hanging. It’s been touched, dusted, tapped on and hit. Love the product that it is now my go to hanging tool for pictures at home. Easy on, easy off. The walls look like new. So much better than patching nail holes!

Does not work, everything falls down.
I purchased this and some smaller ones to hang some pictures and I tried using these larger ones for a smaller size white board. Every single thing I hung fell down, including a painting my dad painted for me, which broke the glass (thank goodness it didn't destroy the painting. I have been very unimpressed by this brand and will not be purchasing them again.

I used this to hang two pictures and both of them, even though I followed instructions, fell and not only damaged the frame but also ripped the paint off my newly sheetrocked, freshly painted walls. I absolutely do not recommend. It does not do what it claims to AT ALL!

Damaged the wall
This review is for the 12lb medium picture hanging strips. Did exactly as per the directions and ended up with 2 big holes in wall that I now have to repair. Directions at step #4 tell you to temporarily remove frame from wall to reinforce strips (letting adhesive set before reattaching pic after an hour). Peel frame as shown. Pic shows pulling upwards from bottom with intent to separate the two velcro pieces adhered to wall and back of frame. Well, the velcro didn't let go and you can't see what's happening until the damage is done. Instead of the velcro breaking free, the paint, and a chunk of dry wall was removed where each strip was attached. Now I need to spackle, sand, and re-paint. Should have just used a trusted molly screw as always. Some of these products work well as intended. This ope was an aweful failure.

These have worked for me about 85% of the time.However, if you have nice frames that you would not want to see broken, you're taking a risk. I found that out the hard way, and around $100 later, and I didn't do anything differently than I did with the strips that were successful. Not sure, but they may be fudging their weight allowances. Might continue to use them for cheap frames, but will not trust my good stuff to them again.

I purchased this product from walmart a couple weeks ago to hang up two pictures that are both around 10lbs. After applying the adhesive strips to the frames, the walls, and waiting 24 hours as recommended on the packaging I hung up both paintings on my drywall only for the strips hanging on the wall to promptly fall not even 20 minutes later. Apparently the wall strips did not have adhesive build up after the 24 hour period. Both paintings had 8 sets of strips on them spread through the frame.

Difficult to use
I bought this to hang three framed artworks. The instructions say to 'click' them together. They don't 'click' it's like velcro. Step 4 on the instructions say to temporarily remove frame but you can't if you've meshed the 'velcro' tightly together from step one. The first picture I tried to hang wasn't able to 'follow' instruction to remove the frame to let the wall strips build their adhesive before putting up the frame and so hope it doesn't come down. So on the next two pics I only lightly meshed the 'velcro' together (step 1). But then when tried to remove frame (step 4) and leave the wall strips - the wall strips kept coming off w/ frame!. Got them apart and stuck adhesives to wall. Left on for an hour (step 5). Step 6 -when tried to put frame on couldn't get the 'velcro' to 'click' (really meshed together is correct concept). This was a waste of money! But I love their picture hanging hooks - going to go back to store and buy the picture hanging hooks. Don't waste you time or money on this product- stick w/ hooks.

Picture fell less than 12 hours later
I just hung my picture up last night with 2 pairs of these strips. The picture weighs exactly 3 lbs and the box says 2 strips should manage up to 8 lbs. I can assure you that is not the case. The picture fell in the middle of the night and *somehow* didn't break. Now it won't stick again and go back up. Please do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

Initially a good product but ...
Initially, they work great if you add more than recommended, even for lighter picture frames.
The problem i ran into was using them in an enclosed 3 season room. i had several pictures proudly hung, but extreme temperatures resulted in a few pictures falling.
i have since removed all frames and will resort to what i didnt want to do .. metal fasteners (screws, nail hangers etc)
It began during winter and very cold weather that i lost a few frames. But then i began losing more this summer.
The concept is good, but the R&D team should be testing the adhesive properties to accommodate extreme weather conditions.

The worst
This is the 4th time I'm reporting that pictures have fallen from the strips after 4 years. I suggested that quality and control be sent the information. I have lost numerous frames/pictures and plaques have broken.Do not depend on this product. Use nails.

Best Product Ever!!
My favorite home project to date! I loved it so much I started the adjoining wall across the hall. I used the large picture hanging strips on the second wall. They were not readily available when I did the larger wall, but I sure wish they had been!! That wall was done with nails and took me 3 long afternoons to get everything just right. When I started the second wall, all I had to do was stick the strips together, peel and stick it to the picture and press it on the wall. Not measuring, no trying to get it to hang straight. It was perfectly spaced every time! I was finished with the pictures and plaques I had for the second wall in an hour. As you can see the second wall is far from finished. Waiting for a family wedding to take place to finish off more of the wall.....Everyone that walks into my house loves these walls. They are filled with family, friends, cute sayings, and you can just feel the love and sense of family in that room. It has definite WOW factor!!

These picture hanging strips are awesome. We just repaired and painted our living room and dining room and did not want holes in the walls to hang things. We bought the picture hanging strips to try out and we're glad we did. They really hold the pictures on the wall with great stick. Only issue is after putting the wall side on and removing the picture you have to wait 1 hour to rehang the picture. Has to do with the adhesive. Lining the strips up again is a bit of a challenge but its worth the time.I highly recommend these for hanging stuff without putting tons of holes in your walls.

Heartbroken Result...
I bought the large capacity (up to 16 lbs) picture hanging Command Strips. I attempted to hang a framed Navaho sand art piece I purchased more than 20 years ago...a piece purchased on a trip with my Mother who has since passed away. I removed the picture hanging hardware, cleaned the area correctly and waited an hour to allow the adhesive to bond strongly to the wall. After hanging my piece... which was above my front door... about an hour later I was in my kitchen and heard a loud crash and glass shattering. Much to my dismay, my art had fallen off the wall and crashed onto the floor. Thankfully, the frame didn't break... but the glass shattered...everywhere...even into the living room! The art itself doesn't appear to be damaged... but it's no longer protected as it should be and the cost of having the glass replaced isn't cheap.

They work well until they don't!
Had a large frame hanging on my wall for 3 years using your heaviest duty strips. 3 years! Thirty minutes ago, and for no apparent reason as the frame in question was located in a low traffic area, a loud crash and now a broken $50 frame and a small dent in the wood floor. These were not the only casualties, as my trust in your product took a significant hit. Now I'm thinking that I should avoid more unpleasant replace all the other Command Strip hangers around my house with old fashioned nails and wire. If the adhesive on you strips has a shelf life, you really should make that clear. Will not be throwing any more $$ your way for Command Strips.

Waste of money/too much damage to walls & pictures
I have hung 3 pictures using the heavy duty command strips whether the picture was light in weight or if they were a bit heavier, I always used several strips ( 2 on top, 2 on the bottom and 2 on each side), I followed the directions to a tee and ended up with damage to my walls, broken picture frames and broken glass!
If you cherish what you hang on the walls, use regular nails and a hammer.

Dangerous!!!
I bought 2x 7,2kg strips to hang a 60x90cm ligh weight canvas ( no more than 5kg). After couple of days as I was sitting on the floor and watching tv the picture fell on top of my head not only leaving me with huge bruise on my forehead but also damaging the wall ( I am renting), breaking my brand new birds of paradise plant and breaking the fame of the picture. My walls are clean, smooth and I followed the instructions on the packaging as I was putting it on the wall. I am extremely disappointed and definitely do not recommend them to anyone. I have used cheaper versions before and never had any issues. Waste of money!

Seemed great to start with
Was really easy to hang up. I hung my large picture on the wall in February, and it’s now November, when I came home I noticed the picture was lying broken on the floor. Luckily it was a cheap frame and it wasn’t glass, but still disappointing I didn’t even get a year out of the strips

What a joke!
I bought this to hang a picture in my brand new 18k remodeled bathroom. The picture was a canvas frameless picture that weighed less than one pound. Followed direction and 3 days later the picture fell off the wall. I tried to remove the strips as indicted. When the strips came off so did the paint along with the dry wall paper. Purchased this as I did not to put holes in brand new walls. No holes in the wall, but a ruined wall from these strips. I would never recommend this to anyone.

I bought this pack last week and all 3 pictures I hung on my walls have now fallen down. These same pictures were hung before using the hanging strips without any issues. This new package I just bought seems to be old. The strips aren't sticky at all.

I bought three packs for my small paintings to put up for my new house, then when my boyfriend and I went to sleep so we heard a big boom. We thought someone broke in but we just saw my paintings on the floor with glass everywhere. Then my boss told me that she had the same problem with this items.

Terrible Product - 3M, you owe me a camera!
These strips broke my camera. A camera weighing less than 5 pounds, we used 2 x 16lb strips. It fell once luckily on soft mat and was okay. A week or so later, with 2 new 16lb strips, the camera fell again and is now broken.
3M where should I send the bill for the new camera?

Quality over time has decreased
My friends jokingly call me the command queen.I have been using command strips since they came out...Lately every time I use them it results in a broken frame! I just used 7 sets of large strips to hang a frame that was under the required rate. I followed the wait time and hanging recommendations and it fell... So disappointed :( Especially since I removed the hanging hardware to use the strips

I bought the large strips and used more than needed for a picture. I hung it up on a clean wall and within 45 mins, it came off the wall. Good thing my dog heard it and moved and good thing my sofa stopped it from breaking. UNFORTUNATELY, I spent money on a large pack of these. The medium and small size works fine, or at least so far. Oh, and picture I used the large strips for is under 6 pounds! I wanted to make sure it was secure. Sill me!

They hold very well

After few months all your pictures start falling down!!! I had 4 that fall down and two of them are broken!!! I am removing all of these stickers this weekend. What a waste of money and time! I do not recomend them. They seem fine when you hang them, but horrible when your pictures start crashing to the floor!!

I bought these command strips to use to decorate my home office. I hung 3 frames on my wall and even weighed them before using to make sure they were within the 16lb limit. They were 12lbs. I followed the instructions to a T! Not even 2 hours after hanging them up one of them has fallen and the glass has now broke. I am furious! These frames were not cheap and I use command products all the time and thought I could trust these. NOPE. I do not recommend and will no longer purchase command.

No Holes in the Walls!!!
I made a cork board bulletin board and it is big and heavy. I knew the large picture hanging strips would be the ticket. They were!!! I placed four strips on the picture frame and wallah. No holes in the wall and now I have my bulletin board up and being used!!!

I always use the strips that are meant to hold the heaviest frame even on the lightest frame. I follow the instructions but after a few weeks the frames fall breaking not only the frame but damaging the wall and trim in the entire process. Very disappointing!

Love Command strips. Use them all the time.
These always worked for me but the last few weeks, a picture and a jewelry holder fell off the wall. It wasn't the sticky parts, it was the Velcro that didn't hold.

Big power in a small thing
I have these holding so many frames in my house. It allows me to move things around easily for different seasons. They do a great job! Just be careful to when removing. Follow the instructions. And they will come off fine.

Damaged my walls
Bought these at Meijer and, as you can see from the image, they damages my walls. I followed the mounting instructions and removed the frame as directed. As I was pulling it.off, the sides stuck to the wall came off instead of the Velcro separating. This peeled the paint in some places.

The Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strips work great to re-hang some of my pictures in the library I work in. I had 2 canvas type pictures of Dr Seuss that were falling down and I put these on the top corners and it held them great!

After three years things started falling off the strips. Frames broke, pictures broke, a small ceramic sign broke because the hook came off the wall. . All around the three year time. Also when I tried to remove the tape, paint came off. Will not use command anymore.

Can't wait to use these again this year!
I used these exact strips last year to put up an expanding wooden Christmas tree frame on the wall since I couldn't nail it directly or use nails to hang it. It was so successful that I can't wait to do the same this year. Since I didn't know how heavy the ornament would be, I used too many strips so this year I'll be using less.

The Command Large Picture Hanging Strips worked just perfectly to put the large welcome sign I had above the front closet. Very easy to hang with the Command Strips. Large picture hanging strips are AWESOME
I received a sample of this product in exchange for this review.
When you want to hang a picture, but DON'T want to put a hole in the wall (renters, take note!), these are PERFECT for the job! The photo I've included with this review is of the retirement certificate I received and framed, and put up in my apartment. That place was OLD, and had lath & plaster walls. Putting a nail in, you were lucky to find a lath piece of wood that would hold it. And being plaster, you couldn't use anchors, as they'd just tear out half the time!
That's when my 3M picture hanging strips came to the rescue! Both larger frames here were hung with just TWO of the strips, and I never had an issue with them falling. AWESOME!!

This Comand Picture Habging Strips were moderately easy todo. I tried it on a light weight frame to see how it holds up. Seems tobe okay. Don't think I would do it on a heavy framed pic. I can see this for certain areas where hanging with hooks would not work.

Easy to use with secure hold
I love how you can adjust the number of pairs of strips to the weight of the object you hang. The clock I hung weighed less than 7.5 lbs, so only two pairs were required. The pairs securely click together to hold the clock to the wall. I was able to hang my clock without putting a hole in the wall, and when I want to move it, I can remove the sticky side of the strips without damaging the wall or the back of the clock. I was skeptical that the strips would hold securely, but they really did. I received these large picture hanging strips for free in exchange for my honest review.

Absolutely horrible product
Spent 2 hours in sticking 3M Mini hooks for my certificate. Cleaned up the wall thoroughly with rubbing alcohol before sticking the tape. It didn’t stick and the certificate frame kept falling. Horrendous waste of time and money.

Great strips!
I got this as a free sample. These large picture frame Command Strips have been a big upgrade for us. They’re rated to hold up to 15 pounds, but we’re only using them for lightweight painted canvases—probably around 8–10 ounces each. Even though we’re nowhere near the weight limit, the strips have held up extremely well, which is especially impressive given how humid our house is.
To give you an idea: our home is so humid that we use dehumidifying devices in reptile enclosures, and when it rains with the windows open, our floors actually get a light sheen of moisture. Other strips we’ve tried in the past just couldn’t handle that—they would literally peel off and drop the artwork. Usually in the middle of the night, so it would scare the socks off us lol. These, though, have stayed put with zero issues!
I like that they’re easy to remove when you need to, but not so easy that they just let go on their own. They’ve stood up well to us repositioning frames a few times, and the adhesive hasn’t lost its grip. I’m still cautious about reusing them too often, but so far they’ve performed solidly…
The size is perfect too—big enough to hold a canvas with a strip on each side, but also strong enough to center one strip for a smaller piece. And the way they attach is neat: instead of Velcro, they kind of click together like puzzle pieces, giving you a satisfying and secure connection. They call it zipper technology, but it still feels like puzzle pieces to me:)
Overall, these are reliable, sturdy, and surprisingly resilient, even in tough conditions like ours. If you’ve had issues with other strips giving up in humidity, these are absolutely worth trying. I think you’ll be happy.

Great for the classroom or renters
As a teacher these are great for use in the classroom to easily hang frames around the classroom. The painted cinder blocks make it impossible to hang things with a nail. The strips can easily be taken down at the end of the year yet hold strong all year long. I especially love that I can easily take down the framed picture/poster from the wall and bring it to the front to take it around the room when teaching. Then easily it "snaps" back in place when we move to the next chapter. There is also no worry about it being crooked and shifting if a student brushes past, the poster is very secure. I was given this product exchange for an honest review from 3M.

These were great for a larger framed degree. Just moved offices and can't use nails (not great for drywall anyway) and these were perfect to securely hang the piece on textured drywall. Much better than wire.

Very Great New Product
These Picture Hanging Strips are my new best friend. I'm in love with them! We have a new house and i didn't want to put a bunch of wholes everyone hanging things up. These are the perfect solution for decorating. I can hang decently large wall art/picture frames and use these without any worry. The Velcro aspect is genius. It really comes in handy if you happen to have the item be a little off center or you just need to readjust. You don't need to hammer in yet another hole. I really love that they can hold a lot of weight. These are awesome.

These were well packed and came undamaged and ready to use. they were easy to figure out how to apply to the object to be hung up and the application was extremely easy. Great for hanging that picture in a questionable area. "I wonder what is behind there?" No drilling, no glue. I have exceded the weight limit for these and they are doing well so far. Easy to move ans the mood inspires too.

Holds up strong with heavy picture frames
You know, you don't really consider picture frames "heavy," but whenever I hang pictures, I usually prefer to do it without wall damage. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. The hardest part sometimes is finding something to hang! So far, years of command strips haven't let me down, and this particular one has been holding for days now and will probably last me for as long as I need.

Easy to install and remove and holds well
The Command picture hanging strips work well no matter what size you choose. I recently remodeled and couldn't bring myself to put a nail hole in the wall, now I don't need to. I can change the items on the wall easily as the strips install and remove easily. They hold very well, nothing I've hung has fallen off the wall.

Perfect solution for pictures
These are great for medium sized pictures or whatever you have to hang. They hold a lot of weight and really allow pictures to hang flush to the wall. I've never had anything fall. They hold really well and make it super simple if you ever want to change the location or remove them.

Strong Hanging Strips!
I received the Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strips for free in order to review them. These strips hold up to 15 pounds of weight and work on smooth walls and tiles. Hang pictures so easy without messing up your wall
I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Command large picture hanging strips to evaluate for them. The command strips are so easy to use. These particular strips can be used for pictures up to 15 pounds so I was able to hang some of my larger pictures without nails. You just peel and stick and you are done. I would highly recommend them to everybody. For anyone who doesn’t want to put holes in their wall, they are great because they peel right off the wall when you take your picture down.

Very disappointed in Supposed Damage free hanging hooks. Trying different pictures and paid extra to use these hooks rather than nails. Pulled the paint and some drywall off the wall, now I have to patch and paint. Please don’t waste your money. It will cost you more in the long run. Very disappointed.

No wall damage for photos
I never did like putting nails in the wall to hang pictures due to damage, lack of being able to move easily, etc. These hanging strips are perfect for hanging pictures on the walls without damaging the walls, and are easy to move or adjust as needed. I did receive these as a free sample to review, and put them to work hanging a series of photos in our rec room. You can't see the strips, they don't damage the wall, and if I need to make small adjustment, that's easy to do too. There are SO many uses for these strips!

Command 15lb White Picture Hanging Strips
I received this product free from 3M in exchange for my honest review.
I was intrigued by the "click together" hanging strips instead of hooks and such ... but they are pretty cool. These large (15lb) strips seem to adhere very well to surfaces I have tried (wood, painted sheetrock) but come free with no damage if necessary. Keep in mind that you need to use four pair in order to achieve the maximum 15lb weight rating. The white strips blend in better with lighter frames. Do ensure to follow the directions and be aware that the strips will not adhere well to textured or rough surfaces.

Directions easy to follow. Strips were easy to use. Not only is it important to follow the directions bu make sure that the picture you are going to hang has enough space/wide enough supports on the back to hold the strips. My first attempt didn't work so well. 2nd attempt is doing better.

Good way to hang things up without damage to walls
I really don’t like poking holes in my walls unless it’s absolutely necessary even though it’s my own home. And in my office, I have a lot of collectibles and sentimental things to my family and instead of putting up shelves I’m just gonna try to use these picture hanging strips even on non-picture items.

Avid Command Strip User
I have been an avid command strip user for years, and there are so many things in my house held up with them, from pictures to mirrors and everything in between. I love that I can adjust the positioning of the pictures if I hang them up a little crooked, and given that I rent, I haven’t had any issues with the adhesive pulling paint off the walls either. I recommend these to anyone looking for an easy way to hang home decor.

A solid stick and so secure without bulk
I am so impressed with this product. The oak from made this print just about 12 pounds, so I was apprehensive. I feels so secure and solid, I feel there could be a small tremor and it would stay up. Will definitely look for this product when I need more.

I like this product because when you need a bigger strip for heavier things this comes in handy. These strips are great because they don't put holes in the wall. The are real easy to apply by sticking, but easy to take off if you decide you don't want that item hanging up anymore

Command picture hanging strips are a go-to for me and I use them around my house in many places. They provide a strong hold. I find that when I use them on my walls, which are textured, it is harder to get a solid hold. When used on smooth textured surfaces, that has not been an issue at all. They are great for things that may be changed out like seasonal decor.

Handy for many purposes
I used this to hang a power strip to the wall. They stick well to the wall and the power strip but they loses their grip to each other pretty easily. It’s suppose to hold 15 lbs. but just the weight of the power strip causes it to fall after a bit of time or if touched. But I find it very handy. I also used them to attach my adjustable bed remote to my bed. It works really well for this because the remote is very light.

Failed to hold 2lbs
Frame hanging strips didn’t hold up! Used 4 longer/larger Velcro strips and 1 month later they fell off the wall still stuck to the frame. The whole thing came crashing down and Ruined new $20 frame and $20 poster that was a gift. Can’t be more than 2 lbs. all together. What a bummer and waste of money! I usually love 3M products.

It is not hardware, only adhesive
I love command strips and find many useful applications for which they fill a unique niche. However, I had a framed picture (hung with proper procedures and with probably double the number of strips required for the weight) which had been hanging securely for a number of years and just dropped off the wall in the middle of the night without provocation. I still love command strips but I have adjusted my expectations; the harsh physical reality is that adhesive is not as reliable as metal hardware attached to the wall.

Used these for framed picture. Frame fell and broke and I now have 2 large spots on my wall where strips pulled paint off! Product does not wotk well (wish I would have seen the bad reviews 1st)!! Ryined my wall and the frame!! Unhappy customer

I received this product from 3M for free. Firstly, I is so easy to use! Literally, like 1,2,3 steps and done! No need for a hammer or nails anymore, stick one to the picture, one to the wall, attach and done. Secondly, they are strong and durable! The photo hasn’t shifted or fallen once! Thirdly, the white color strip goes with any color wall. No need to worry but it clashing. Also, once attached they are like “invisible”!

Command products are the best! The only product that stays in place without damaging walls, cabinets, etc. These are amazing because instead of using hooks or nails, you can use these so pictures lay flat on the wall without a gap. Unsure of ability to remove without damage .
Received picture hanging strips to try for a survey. Wasn't impressed with them. I found them hard to line up from wall to back of frame. When removing the picture, I was leary of pulling the picture off the wall,, afraid the drywall would come off with the strip. I didn't like the fact that the strips were like Velcro and you had to press hard to get them to stick together.

I received these free in exchange for my opinion. I recommend reading the directions a couple of times before using. I found it slightly tricky to hang one picture on my painted wall. It would be easier if 2 people work together. Pay attention to weight limit and weigh picture before attempting to hang. This product removes easily from painted walls and does not damage the paint.

Holds Frame Securely
These were used to hang a 12x36 wooden frame on my wall. It’s a sturdy frame and the strips used secured the frame on the wall. It does not move like before when only a nail was holding it in place.

Great for photos!
We just recently moved and when I got these in the mail I was so excited. In our old house we hung lightweight photos up with these, and since moving had to peel them off. Let me tell you, they came off easy, didn’t ruin the wall even after 6 years.
When I got these I was excited to use them since I know they work so well and I don’t have to go around putting nail holes into our new house walls.

Easy hanging option
I have purchased these on my own and also have received some from 3M. These are a great option for hanging pictures and other things as well. I have used them to hang photos in my shop, large and small. I like that they come with different weight classes. They're great for easy haninging where you can place them without damage to your walls.
I do think, though, that they may not work well on all surfaces. I placed on on my door to hang a garage door opener; which is fairly light weight. I think because the door is susceptible to the temperature outside, it may impact the adhesive because I've already had to replace it twice.
Other than that, my pictures are secure. I've used them for both light weight framed pictures and more substantially weighted framed pictures. So I think they are best suited for drywall.

My wife wanted our picture wall redesigned, so I took all of our different-sized pictures off of the wall, painted it, and patched all of the holes up. Starting with a clean palette, she got to place the pictures where she wanted them. I used different Command picture hanging strips that I chose by how much weight they held. There are a few larger ones that have stayed up. These are great.

I received the product in exchange for this review. Like the title says, so far.... it's holding. I bought this picture frame from Goodwill and I have been challenged to hang things without making horrible holes in the wall, especially with heavier frames. One of the worst things is having it crash to the floor, which usually happens at 3am scaring me out of my wits (yes, it's happened before, like the smoke detector battery never chirps during the day...) I like the heavy duty Velcro that connects together, what concerns me is the wall glue and the glue that attaches the picture both removable so hopefully it'll only come down when I decide to remove it, not from time. That's why I have preferred holes in the wall. Time will tell...

I like to these these for hanging wreaths on my front door or other small photos. I try not to put too much weight on it and then work better on glass or vinyl. We had gotten several command strip products to review at the same time. We were able to try them in similar applications. These strips with their greater weight limit worked well, we had one area where the paint pulled off the wall when we tried changing the strip, but that was rare.

Something changed
I have been a lover of Command products since they came onto the market years ago. Recently, I purchased new picture strips after moving into a new house. These newest strips have been nothing but a nightmare resulting in broken wall art and tears of frustration. I prepped the walls, used the strips as recommended, and within hours to a couple of days, all of the wall art I hung began to fall off the walls. The strips failed in various ways - some came entirely off the wall, others pulled apart from itself with each adhesive side of the strip firmly attached to the wall/object, while others had the adhesive pull apart from the plastic strip. I have NEVER had this problem in the past and have always advocated for the use of Command strips. Unfortunately I will have to resume using traditional wall hanging methods. Please go back to whatever 3M used to do because I would LOVE to have my favorite product back!

I bought these to hang a few pictures on a wall that was going to be renovated soon but still didn’t want them laying around the house. But wasn’t quite sure if they were going to stay there either. Never used these before so I wasn’t sure how good they were going to work. They are now my go to. I love love love these. I will be using them to hang everything. I’m they are super easy to hang. Just snaps in. Not like normal Velcro. They kinda of snap together Velcro. They are just awesome. Although they are a little expensive. That I would change. They are too expensive for my likings. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. So 4 stars for price.

Works on Cars to lol
I tried this since my cars ground effect was coming off it kept hitting the door and pulling it off more the clips and to redo it was almost 100. I found these and gave it a shot it’s been on there for 8 months now and has not moved so yea these things are great. I got the black ones but their the same as these. They actually hold and the tape unless you peel the tab it’s not coming off. I’ll use these on everything not just pictured

I love this product!
My husband hates it when I put holes in the walls, since he will have to patch and repaint them at some point in the future.
When I use the large picture hanging strips, both of us are happy. I have hung several pictures and a bulletin board with these strips. They hold well, and I don't have to worry about the picture falling off the wall.

Ok, I didn't use the picture hook to hang a picture. I put it on my bathroom door to hang my bathrobe. That was 6 months ago. The hook is still securely holding up. My bathrobe is thick, long & heavy. I had my doubts the hook would hold up. But it has!

Truly are damage free...

I weighed my display cases on a scale and then purchased the Command Picture Hanging strips that would hold an even heavier frame because I didn't want to take the chance of this falling off the wall. It contained all my handmade earrings. I followed the instructions carefully. Luckily only one pair of earrings broke, BUT the frame broke and it damaged the baseboard when it fell—not to mention the crash scaring my son, who was home alone! While the strips are a great idea to make sure pictures stay straight, I'd use a backup!! The one frame is still on the wall, while the other one fell. I hung them the same way and at the same time. ???

I live in a senior citizens HUD apartment complex and we are not supposed to use nails to hang things on the walls. Command strips help me make my home beautiful! And help me keep my deposit when I move out!

HORRIBLE!
I bought these command strips this week to help hang a few small pictures. In the past I used them to hang up a heavy picture frame and that thing hasn't budged from the wall. In this case tho, 6/6 picture frames have fallen off the wall. I cleaned the frames and wall before applying. I have noticed that the stickiness isn't the same as it used to be. Maybe this product needs to be better designed! It broke two of my favorite frames!

I bought these excited to finally hang pictures in our home. When I removed the pictures to allow the tape to sit on the wall for an hour, like it said in the directions, it ripped the paint and plaster. I am so upset this happened. Not the experience I was looking for.

Child proof!
I bought these to hang the family pictures in the hallway. My kids are autistic and always want to touch things even when they shouldn't. I used 4 on each large picture frame and even I can't tug them off! The kids can still look but I don't have to worry about broken glass due to them dropping it.

I had 2 pictures fall down and one hit my head and cut it open. Barely any sticky on the strips. Do not use for anything but very small light frames. First picture with 4 strips lasted only 3 hours and 2nd with 4 strips 7 days. Extremely dangerous!

The worst product to buy
I just bought my new home and of course dont want to put holes in the wall. So I bought a 4 boxes of command for my big pictures, which by the way the frames were more expensive than the pictures. My husband and I followed the steps like explained on the box went to the movies come back home and all of our pictures frames were broken glass all over my house from downstairs to upstairs and I am really mad and want them to reimburse me for my picture frames or have them fix if possible. Would never use again

Keeps falling off
I bought these a few weeks ago. I used them to attach a considerably light (doesn't even weight a kilo), small picture on the wall but it keeps falling down. Absolutely useless and I wouldn't trust them to hold something heavier or larger. I also tried it on a small hook just to hang a few summer scarves and it fell down with just one scarf on.

Bought these that were supposed to 14 lbs. I put 5 strips on a wooden box frame. They sure do stick to the wall great but the adhesive that sticks to the wood let go in only days. We were very disappointed since that weight certainly was not 14 lbs. even with the few things on it. Maybe it just isn’t meant for wood!!

After about 3 years, just fell off the wall
The velcro pieces are still on the wall, but the adhesive to the wood on the frame of the artwork failed. They fell off the wall in the middle of the night last night. Do not hang anything with glass.

I bought this 2 months ago and i was happy I can hang my 2 mirrors without putting a hole in my freshly painted wall. I don't know if it's the temperature change or what, but both my mirrors fell off the wall and broke. The command strip did not hold. It was supposed to be able to hold up to 16lbs and the mirrors were not heavy, but it didn't do that. Now I lost both mirrors. Very angry customer.

Sweepstakes Entry or not, I highly recommend these strips for any sports room or fan cave. This picture is from my first fan cave where I rented. The pictures all stayed in place for a few years until I moved. When I did, and took them off the wall properly, not one mark was left behind. I have done another fan cave without issues. A tip, make sure you are using enough of the strips. The heavier the picture, more strips you'll need. Also make sure you use them in the right direction, see images on back of package. (Very large paintings pictured were hung with nails because of their size and weight.)

Easy on and easy off
For the most part these are awesome to use. You have to be careful on textured walls as they may not stick well. I have had a couple of pictures fall but overall most are holding up fine. When I take down a picture usually no mess. A tiny % of time they will pull some paint off but again, overall easy and no mess. I would recommend using them and make sure you use the correct weight and size.

First time using - WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG???????
WOW - I cannot believe how fabulous these things are. I used them to attach some acrylic shelves on the end of my kitchen island to hold an iPad and speaker. I am blown away. I installed one of the shelves incorrectly and I was nervous about removing the strip - but doggone it - it was a piece of cake! Man o Man - what a super product!

I have a wall in my den that I call my "Wall of Fame". It is covered with pictures of my 2 sons, my grandkids and other members of my family. I used the large hanging strips for all of the framed pictures and even the very large ones stay put.

We have to pay to have a wall repainted in my daughter's college apartment because it's been so damaged by the removal of the command strips. She had about 12 small square photos hung up with the Command strips. At least half caused damage upon removal.

When it’s worked I’ve like these options
We move every couple of years due to our field of work and rehang our artwork everytime with these products. Unfortunately, we have about a 15% rate where prepping the walls then using these, even taking account the weight limitations, that something falls off the wall from the wall side sticky. We have lost one artwork due to this, luckily no more yet. Because of this, we do not use this for our most precious professionally framed items.
When the above doesn’t happen, its great to leave our rentals with clean non-holed walls.
It does however make me nervous every time to see what drops.
So all in all we are happy, with a little reservation. We are about to put up all our artwork in the new place, so here goes another round!

I have bought 3M picture hanging strips for years and used hundreds! My daughter is a professional photographer so I have dozens of family photos to hang. I have my basement stairway lined with family photos hung with these strips as well as pictures in every room of the house. They are easy to use and last.

Keeping it straight
When we moved into a new house, it took many months to decide where to hang all our pictures and artwork. Once we were happy with the final placement of everything, we used Command Hook picture hangers to keep the frames straight on the wall. We cut the strips in half lengthwise and positioned them at the bottom corners of the frames. One hard push and when we heard the "click", we knew the frames would stay perfectly aligned.

My friends and I have collected shot glasses all over the world from our vacations and created this light weight shelf to keep them on. We had these shot glasses for years and kept them on this shelf for a very long time. Moving into a new house we decided to use the heavy duty command strips that claim they hold 4 lbs each to keep our shelf on the wall. We put the shelf up with a command strip in every corner, in between each corner and in the middle just to be safe. Again this was all very light weight and didn’t even come close to 16 lbs. But if we had 9 command strips on the shelf and they each hold 4 lbs then it should hold about 36 lbs. We followed instructions to mount the shelf properly and let us sit a week without any of the shot glasses on it. Since it stayed up a week we slowly added the shot glasses over a few days until they were all on it. A month later we heard a huge crash in the night to find all the shot glasses destroyed and the shelf destroyed from the fall. We should have never trusted command strips. They do not hold what they say. We lost so many memories that we will never be able to get back. We are absolutely devastated. Do not trust this product with something you care about.

I followed instructions, broke two frames
Bought the large hangers for 8 lbs pictures. One weighed 5 lbs, one less than 2 lbs. I watched videos and followed instructions exactly. It took me nearly two hours to execute the instructions exactly. Hung the first one, the larger one, and clicked it in. It fell within 3 minutes. The velcro remained intact on walls and picture. It was three connection between the two that failed. Hung the second picture, the light one, and ensured it clicked properly. I assumed the first one fell because I didn't click it well. It fell within 30 minutes. Again, the strips were secured well to the wall and the picture. It was a lack of adhesion between the velcro strips. I'm beyond angry for having wasted a couple of hours and a lot of money on frames. Don't waste your money or time.

Great product for dorms, apartments, or klutzes!
I got these because every time I attempted to hang a picture, my wall usually looked as if they had been through a war! (Due to my “misses” and attempts to line frames up). I have these in every size available. When my kids got the rules for hanging items in dorms (and later apartments), Command is the perfect solution. These can be repositioned and removed without damaging any walls! (Or your security deposit). This is my go to product for projects around my home, as well as gifts for young adults starting out on their own. When kids were little, any toy that I was gifting had the batteries. Now, with any frames, artwork, posters, etc I also include the appropriate Command product!

I love this product. I am constantly buying a package at Costco because I hate putting holes in the wall and this being our first house I want to take care of the home as I plan to be here for years. I like to change my decor and putting nails would look horrible when I change location of things. The most amazing thing is how much it holds. i purchased these a month ago and now 4 of my 8 pictures have fallen off and broke the frames. i think this company is scamming people. i followed the rules and now all my stuff is falling off the walls. they are lucky no one was under one of them or someone could have gotten hurt. i called the customer service hotline, but they told me i can't have spackled walls. NO where did it say i can't have spackled walls, i think its disgusting how this company expects everyone to have uniform, perfectly smooth walls. i hope whoever made these uses them and has all their frames brake due to the poor quality in which they were made. if i could give this zero stars i would, i am very upset at how this company had handled my complaints, not only did they not reimburse me for the strips, but they wouldn't even consider my replacing my broken frames. this company should feel ashamed for the garbage they sell.
also why bother having a "never recommend" if you can't use it. i think they're trying to hide the truth of how poorly made their products are.

I have several of these through out my home, the pictures have fallen off the walls with not only damage to the pictures but to my floors. The adhesive they use isn't as strong. I now have to repair my walls. Not much I can do with floors.

Built in strength and forgiveness
I built a family photo collection feature wall with more 60 photos, all shapes and sizes. It was an involved project deciding which one went where as we laid the frames out on the floor in preparation to hanging the on the wall. And even then, throughout the process last minute adjustments had to be made. Luckily, the Command Large Picture Strips were simple to use, stayed where I wanted them to stay, and were easy to remove where I changed my mind without damaging the walls. Four years and counting.... thanx!

Don't waste your money
I hung up 3 pictures a few nights ago using twice the recommended strips. All 3 pictures stayed on the wall for less than 12 hours. I bought more strips and attempted again this time with 3 times the recommended amount of strips. (Each picture weights less than 2lbs.) This time all 3 pictures did not last even an hour. I have used the exact same product in the past and all those items are still hanging up, most a few years later. Whatever 3M changed was not for the better. This product went from a great one to a horrible one. Done wasting my money on these!!

Not happy-if we had the ability to not mark any stars I would! We have been waiting to hang this wooden frame 13x16 for a very long time and we used the proper 3m size velcro command hanging strips, even added an additional two strips for extra stability and 3hrs later, we heard a crash and it was the picture frame that fell off, broke and all the glass splatter. Not reliable for the price. We've used it before and now, cheaply made!!! Do not buy it, waste of money.

Don't use on drywall
i bought them from warehouse store. thought they would be great. i've used the hooks all over my house with no damage. I dont suggest these hang strips for drywall. I followed the directions. but when i went to lift the picture to straighten it, strip and first layer of drywall lited,

A wonderfule damage free way to decorate!
I absolutely love Command strips. We live in an older home with plaster walls so the more we can avoid drilling or nailing into the walls the better. Command does a great job keeping our valuable artwork in place and secure.

The best way to hang just about anything!
You don't have to get a hammer or damage your walls. Just stick this on, give it a minute and stick whatever painting or picture you want that is less than 16lbs. Pull the tab and it comes right off. Easy, peasy lemon squeezy.

We were given a painting a friend had done to hang in our camper. It was in a rather heavy frame. As wall space over studs is very limited in a camper, I was looking for an alternative way to hang this painting that is very special to us. I found the Command large picture hanging system. It worked great, won't damage the walls, holds the painting firmly in place, and allows us to enjoy this special gift.

Pulled plaster from wall
We live in a building built in 1930. I have used command strips several times to hang daily light things, like my sleep mask. When I went to remove it to re-place it, it pulled plaster off the wall. I’ve used these many times in other homes and this is the first problem I’ve had. I’ve also had two other hooks fail and fell off the wall, taking plaster with them.

Maximum Hold
I have used these strips for a very special picture hanging in our RV when we traveled full time. Many miles and lots of bumps were experienced and not once did my picture move or fall. I used one in each corner and they worked like a dream. When you want to make sure a valuable piece stays where you put it, use these hanging strips.

These are perfect for hanging gallery wall frames. I remember back in the day trying to maneuver tape measures and hammer and nails only to end up with a diagonal line of frames. The best part is they really do come off clean. Great for renters or dorm rooms

I only use command picture strips to hand all my pictures. I just love the way they hold up on my motorhome walls and if I need to move them there is no damage to the wall in fact you’d never even know the was something there. I highly recommend the command large picture hanging strips.

Horrible broke my picture
I bought this 2 days ago I followed the instructions once I put it up my picture fell this product is really bad I feel like everything was said about this product is a lie. I’m very disappointed I lost my picture. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Expect it to fall one day
I bought some last year, so far two pieces of art and a clock have fallen even when using more Command strips than the rated weight tolerance said it could hold. The weight was lighter than the rating but the strips still wouldn't hold even when using more strips.

I have bought several different types of command strips and have been very disappointed. I have plaster walls, so really wanted these to work! I followed all the instructions and my items/pictures all fall — some within an hour and others after a few months. Most recently a picture fell, the glass and the frame broke.

I bought some spice racks that attached with a double side tape. They all fell down. I purchased another stronger ( industrial ) double sided tape they all fell down. When I was going to return a clerk said she had the same ones with the same problems and used these. Went up easily though I had my doubts. Still going strong .

We have a 60 Plus years old desert picture landscape 4' x 2' handed down over the years. It has always been hung on a hook and wire. Moved to a new home and didn't want to put holes in the wall. it has some weight and been hanging for 5 months now with out any problems.

Second time the charm
I’ve been a huge fan of 3m strips for years and used it for various wall art when we moved into our current home 2 years ago. Recently one of my wall art plaques, which were installed using 3m strips above my kitchen sink, came away from the wall and fell down. I gave it a second shot with these new strips and I’m hopeful it will stay up this time. I did notice that the strips had a hard time staying attached to the tile backsplash ( slippery surface) and especially if the tiles weren’t perfectly flat. I spent more time trying to make sure it was better attached this go round, so I’m trying to stay positive that it will stay better this time.

A no-tool option for decorating!
I recieved the Command Large Picture Hanging Strips free to evaluate. The Command 15 lb White Picture Hanging Strips provide flexibility in decorating without causing damage to walls. I like to change things up by moving and changing pictures and such that are displayed. The Command Large strips provide me with flexibility to change my mind about what I hang and where. I used the Command Hanging Strips to hang a dry-erase board in my workroom. The hanging instructions were clearly written making it easy to install the board. The velcro holds the board in place firmly. It is easy to remove the board from its hanging position by simply lifting up on the board. The plus with these hanging strips, besides the flexibility of moving items from wall to wall easily, is the weight capacity. I can hang items that weigh up to 15 pounds securely. I highly recommend this product for its ease of installation, the flexibility it provides for changing out home decor, and the weight capacity.

These are the bomb. I've used these for hanging wall art, hanging acrylic boxes outside our office doors for mail, just anything and everything. They are so easy to use! You do have to pay attention--one side is for the wall and one is to attach to the item.
My only complaints are that they don't last forever. I would seriously consider replacing them from time to time as the adhesive does get old and maybe a little stubborn to remove. Think about where you're going to place them, because in my experience, they didn't seem to hold up on my textured walls.

I am reviewing a 3M product that was sent to me at no charge. The Command product family is a wonderful way to hang picture frames without wall damage. I was impressed at the 15 pound holding ability of these large strips. Time will tell if they hold up in the location I chose, but I think they will not be impacted by the heat register.

I received this product as a complimentary sample. The Command Large Picture Hanging Strip is good for hanging pictures without damaging the walls. It is important to be remember the weight limit. I was able to adjust the frame's position without damage to the walls. Will buy again in future.

These large photo mounting strips are great for hanging pictures up. Well priced and includes 12 strips. Easy to use by putting one in each corner of the picture. Easy to remove as well. They do not cause damage to the wall and enables you to hang pictures without having to drill holes in the wall.

I used the hanging strips to hang an wooden art saying. We rent so it is important not to make holes everywhere and this product has been a big help. They are very easy to use. Just follow the steps and clean the area. It held well and I tested the removal steps. It left no damage, not even a mark. I'm very happy with this product and will use it in many spots.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I’ve used these hanging strips for quite a while, and I really like them. It’s a lot easier to hang things with these than using a nail in the wall. You don’t need to line it up or measure, you just put the strips on the back and stick it where you want it to hang. Also very nice that you can take the item down from the wall and put it back up without needing to add new strips. This is helpful if you switch out pictures in your frames often.

My sister’s apartment complex made this rule “command strip hanging only-all nails hangings must be removed and holes repaired”. We replaced and rehung her items with Large Picture Hanging Strips. We realized the visual on the COMMAND Strips hung pictures are nicer looking. We are very pleased with the results.

Great hook for framed photos.
15 lb limit is great. I bought and framed a photo of my husband climbing a mountain on his bike and it’s heavier than I expected. So far, the photo is standing in a living room window… I’ll position these in a couple places and let him decide where to put it, something I would never do with nails. SO simple and easy to remove the one we aren’t going to use. I received the hook in exchange for an honest review and am not monetarily compensated.

The number one thing that I like about Command Strips is how easy they are to use. In the past, I had to get out the hammer, dtywall anchors, hooks, and more in order to hang up a large poster or picture. With these cool, large item Command Strips, I just need to use them, not a number of tools.

I received these picture hooks to try and write and honest review. While the package states that they hold up to 15 pounds I did not use them with such a heavy weight. I hung an alarm pad with them. So far it has been holding tight, and I am very pleased.

Well worth it
I received a sample of these strips from 3m to review and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by how well they work. I was skeptical about strips being strong enough to hold up a picture frame, but they are great. So easy to use and have a strong hold. I will be purchasing more of this product for sure.

Strong hold without the damage!
These Command Large Picture Hanging Strips are a staple when decorating at home and now in my office at work. They are perfect to hang pictures and other material without damaging walls.They're also really easy to remove when necessary.

I received free product in exchange of my honest review
Once you get the hang of these strips they are super fun to use but also can hold a decent size art work. The neat feature is the lock in that doesn’t require any nails or something that would damage the surfaces. You get four pairs of strips that keep a good level if done correctly. You do need to follow the directions and don’t hang anything on them for atleast an hour or more if you can wait. It will just take a firm press and you can feel the click.

Great to hang frames without damaging walls
These Comman 15 lb picture hanging strips are great for hanging larger frames when wanting to avoid holes in the wall. They're easy to use, just peel, stick on your frame, and stick to the wall. Removal is easy and doesn't leave any residue behind on painted surfaces. They're forgiving in allowing slight adjustments after adhering, while remaining strong and study until you're ready to permanently remove them.

We recently moved and having a lot of pictures to hang, we've been using command strips.Command Strips Large Picture Hanging Strips make hanging pictures easy! We plan to use these large, 15 lb strips to hang a large framed picture because the ones we've already used are hanging solid, the pictures are still in place, and I'm sure these will hold solidly also. I purchased the picture hanging strips several times over a 6 month period. I was able to readjust and reposition pictures without damaging the walls a big plus for me. I will definitely purchase more for a collage of pics in another room. Thanks for making it easy

Purchase these to hang four paintings my late aunt did. She past before becoming recognized as an outstanding landscape artist. Proud to display these my my new place. Don't want them damaged (falling off the walls) so that's why I'm using this product.

Love the easy install

Picture Command Strips - DO NOT work
I have purchased over $100 worth of command strips over time. The outdoor light hangers and strips are excellent. The indoor small picture hangers are so-so, just hard to actually disengage back (attached to wall) from front (attached to picture) before allowing the glue to dry. Even when I followed the directions exactly, 3 of my larger frames fell, one in the middle of the night. They seemed to hold for about 4 months, then one by one started to fall. When pulling on the tab to remove the the wall mounted strips, paint and wall texture both came off. I used heavier weighted strips and weighed each picture before hanging. One is an antique oil painting with of course no glass, but a custom frame that now is damaged. The less expensive frame was damaged on the 9x12 when it fell. My walls are painted in flat paint and as 90% homes in the West Coast or Hawaii, have a slight orange peel, which 3M customer service said would be fine. No looking forward to all the replacement of the frames or re-texturing, patching and re-texturing. The ads on TV are very misleading for how easy or well the product works for picture hanging. As I mentioned, the outdoor for lights as well as the hooks for hanging things do work.

after I repainted, I didn't want more nail holes put into my walls, so when it was time to re hang my pictures, I thought of Command. They've never failed me before, and as far as I can see, they never will!

Great holding feature
I bought these large picture hanging strips as I had a large 16x20 oil painting that needed to be displayed in the hall. So glad I got these strips because two weeks later wanted to move the painting to another location. Perfect , no holes in the wall.

A College Dorm room essential!
Just moved my 2nd child into their 1st dorm room. These command strips need to be listed as a "must have" on Dorm Essential packing lists! So far, we've used these in 2 dorm rooms & 2 apartments for both hanging decorations (& other command products for hanging/organizing in kitchen, bath...everywhere!)

This product is a scam
I have been using command products for years successfully. These will rip your drywall apart and cause far more damage than they are meant to avoid. Do yourself a favor and use a simple drywall anchor

Terrible dissapointment.
I bought the 16lb strips recently to hang up a clock, I put the 4 pairs on it, but it ended up falling on me while I slept on my and sofa, the glass on it broke and cut me behind both my arms. Thankfully nothing happened to my kids, who where also there with me. The front and back part of the strips stayed on the wall therefore I'm assuming the glue on the strips was not good. Be careful when buying the strips and setting them up.

Waste of money
I’ve been purchasing command strips and hooks for a while. I use the up to 16 lbs strips for photos not even weighing 2lbs. These strips have peeled paint and the drywall paper and I rent. These are to be non-damaging and renter friendly and are nowhere near.

These are garbage and so will anything you hang.
I have lost a total of $400 worth of art and frames because of these. I followed the instructions and both pictures fell at different times. One even lasted a few months. These are not mention for long term use. I am just glad that no one got hurt. I would never waist my money on any of these products again.

Gotta love it!
They work great. I wish I would have known about them years ago before I put so many nail holes in the wall. I also use them to stick my burglar alarm stations on my windows and door frames. I am sure that there are a plethora of uses for their products. I COMMAND you to buy and use these. LOL
Note: I wish they would make some device that would strongly hold to the wall. When I put one in with other things they eventually come out of the wall.

Fall off in cold temperatures
We live in the desert where days can reach 100 degrees and nights dip down into the 40's. In the morning, we open our windows to cool the house for the day. The pictures we hung a month earlier began to fall off the walls...a contractor told us the cold temps cause the strips to contract and release. We rehung the pictures the old fashioned way...with a nail. They have not moved since. Very annoying as we are in our eighties and had to hang the artwork all over again.

I have never had success with these strip

Ripped the dry wall off the wall
I spent $38 buying strips for multiple pieces to hang since I'm in a rental property that does not allow nails in the walls. I watched every video on the Command website, called and spoke to someone at Command twice to get guidance, and followed the instructions to the letter—from cleaning and prepping the surfaces to securing the strips twice as long as necessary — but on the first picture I attempted to hang, the strips failed; as I lifted the framed art from the bottom (as directed), the strips pulled off the wall bringing bits of dry wall with them. I had already applied the strips to all the other pieces of art I'd planned to hang so can not return them. And frankly, I'm too afraid to attempt hanging anything else. Command has lost a customer for life.

Securely Fits but doesn’t last forever

I wish I had read the reviews before using command strips to hang some pictures. Followed all the directions to be sure the would adhere properly and photos would be secure only to come into my office and find it fell to the floor breaking the frame but what really upset me is it destroyed my internet expander that was plugged into the outlet below. A $90 item which then affected the service in our office space. This was not the first time, after hanging pictures in my office, hung some in another office. Those fell off first and broke as well both the frames and glass. The one with the nail is still hanging.

I've purchased this to hang heavy posters for work and holiday prints for home. I've used command products to hang Christmas lights and garland around my windows and evergreens over doorways. This product is the best thing ever! I bought the picture hanging strips for my daughter’s dorm room so she could hang her canvass artwork. They have stayed on the walls and kept her artwork displayed beautifully :)
I liked them so much that I bought them for myself to display pictures in our new church kitchen. The minister loved that we didn’t put holes in the walls ;)

I have been using Command Picture Hanging Strips for a couple of years now. They have NEVER let me down! I have all of my wall hangings, including heavy, heavy mirrors, all hanging with them! I just love how they grip and come off clean if you ever want to move anything!
One time I forgot to clean both the picture and the surface with alcohol and it didn't grip very well. So I started over! Both surfaces cleaned with alcohol, allowed to dry and up it went perfectly!

Followed Instructions; Ruined Wall
Just bought three packs of these to hang some picture frames we've been meaning to hang. We didn't want to damage our walls, so we thought we'd try command strips. Big mistake.
We followed all the instructions to the letter, cleaned the wall with rubbing alcohol, pressed strips the the back of the frame for 30+ seconds, position the frame and press to the wall for 30+ seconds to secure, but when we reached the step where you gently peel the frame from the Velcro to let the pieces on the wall set it didn't separate and ruined two spots on my wall.

Poor Quality
In less than 2 weeks, I have had 3 framed pictures to fall off the walls that were secured by Command. All 3 were mounted to sheet rock walls. None of the 3 weighed over 2 pounds each. The strips on all 3 pictures pulled off the wall after a short period of time from being installed. I am very disappointed in the quality of the strips and never intend to use them again.

I only wish these existed when I was in college in the early 90’s! I cannot sing the praises of these enough! We probably have 400 of them throughout our home holding up pictures and various other items. I love the ease of removal and that my pictures don’t go wonky on the wall like they would hanging on a nail.

The picture hanging strips did not work for me on all of the pictures I have hung, and some of my frames have been damaged from falling off of the wall, even after following the directions and using the proper strips for the weight of the pictures. I would not recommend this product to others to hang pictures of any significant value.

I purchased these a while ago and finally used them. The picture I used was a very light canvas type picture. It weighed less than a lb. I used these and followed the directions exactly. The picture would not stay up on the wall. It fell down a dozen times. Finally used a nail. Very sad that it would not stay up.

Damaged Walls!
I bought these to hang things on the wall in my private rented property, to avoid damaging the walls with nails, etc.
I have just removed them and each one has taken a strip of paint off the wall. I now risk not getting my security deposit back

The painting won't be falling

Perfect for "No Damage" Decorating
I absolutely love these! They are very easy to use and extremely durable. I was nervous hanging my mirror up that it might not stay and would fall shattering on the tile floor leaving me with 7yrs bad luck. Not the case, my mirror is still on the wall holding strong 5yrs later!

Huge mistake
I bought these to put up all home decor since I was renting and when I to removed them as instructed most of them still pulled off the paint and texture!! Way more noticeable then a nail hole would have been. Now I get to pay for repairs. The spots of missing paint are every noticeable since that are almost the size of the strips themselves. Nails are cheaper and do less damage to walls!

Hard to use and my picture fell and broke
I will never use these things again. They are really hard to use and you essentially have to hang your picture twice if you follow the instructions exactly. Even though I did, my picture fell off the wall and broke, chipping one of our bathroom tiles in the process. These Command strips are an absolute disaster.

I used to swear by these Command Strips, but now I will never use them for decorating again. Seconds after I sat down on the couch with my one year old, an 8x10 picture frame that had been up on the wall for 3 years suddenly came crashing down. The corner of the frame split my eyebrow, hit my eye, and scraped the skin underneath. I’m just thankful my son wanted to sit in my lap instead of next to me or else it would have hit him directly on the top of his little head. As a result I have taken down every frame I used Command Strips on.

I used these heavy duty command strips to hand a mirrored clock. The clock weighed less than two pounds and stayed up for 2 days and fell in the middle of the night. I had to buy a new clock. I then again used 2 of the heavy duty command strips to hand a canvas painting that weighed less than 2 pounds. It hung on the wall for two months just fine, then last night in the middle of the night it fell off the wall ruining my picture and it also smashed into my AC unit and ruined that as well. So thank you for costing my hundreds of dollars in damage when all I wanted to do was prevent damage to my apartment walls.

Complete garbage. They do not hold and multiple pictures have fallen off of the wall causing damage to the wall and the pictures. I will never purchase again. Caused more damage than a traditional picture hanger which ironically it says it causes less.

Ruined my partners Birthday present
I bought this product to attach 3 framed prints to the wall. I had bought the framed prints for my partner for his birthday as he had been wanting this particular artwork for ages and was so excited.
We used 4x 5kg command strips on each frame - each frame weighed approx 6kgs. Less than 24 hours after attaching these to the walls the artwork came crashing down, ruining all 3 frames - my partners entire birthday present had been destroyed!
The strips had not adhered to the backs of the frames, despite having overcompensated for the weights. The frames were made out of wood - a material which this product is recommended for!
To use the word unimpressed would be an understatement - I’m disappointed, extremely angry and frustrated that his present is now ruined and the money spent on his present (and these overpriced products) completely wasted!!

A campers dream
I these these a few months ago. I though it was an awesome new thing to hang pictures or other art on the wall so I told my mom about it for her camper only to find out she’s been using them for years!!!!! Apparently our family has loved them since they came out. No issues. No wall damage moving art around. Very sturdy. A MUST BUY!!! Must keep extra on hand. too many great uses to tell!

Using Command in unual place
We bought an RV & were lookinf for so places to put up temporary shelving to see if it would bear the strength needed for heavier items. We had a lot of ideas of what to put on the shelving but were concerned ifthe Commands would hold! Yhey worked better than we could possibly imagine! Now, do you have any ideas about teaching my husband to learn how to duck down so as not to bang his head on the shelving???

So much easier!
I will never use a hammer and nails again!!! I don’t need to thanks to Commands hanging stripes! Seriously easy to use. Place one on the back of picture, Velcro the other to it, pull off the paper, push it onto the wall where you are hanging it, and wallah- it’s hung! Oh no, a little crooked, detach the picture from the wall strip, reposition, and push it back on to the strip. I have had to do this many times before and the pictures are still hanging with no issue. Now let’s say you decide to put that picture somewhere else, no problem, no holes left, just pull the tab and it’s off the wall! Command strips have changed my decorating world!

Large picture hangers for various items
I purchased these to hang various items on a large rolling bedside table and they’re fantastic. Very happy with their performance. I move this table many times a day(these hangers have been battered around with every movement) and these hangers are just NOW showing distress. They have been on my table for approximately 5 years and SOME are just now beginning to fall off and must be replaced.

A household staple
I have a "Command Strips" drawer in my home office. The large strips can be used to hang picture frames, picture rails, bulletin boards and similar items without damaging walls. Inside the broom closet door, these strips hold a folder with give cards. I can take it down and put it back as needed. They hold a power strip to a wall behind a shelving unit in my sun room. So very handy and effective.

Broke My Clock!
I have new freshly painted walls and do not want to use nails or screws to hang stuff so i opted for command strips. I have heard a lot of good things about them and well, they seem to work great in the commercials! I used them on my “Marine Corner” (see photo) and everything is still hanging perfectly. I am quite cautious about stuff falling off while using these strips but my Military corner has proven, at this point, that I can put some trust in these command strips. THEN, I used them to hang my clock. This clock does not weigh any where near the “up to 16lb” weight limit so I trusted that these were safe and would hold my clock. I used 2 pairs- because I’m not sure (based on description) if that weight limit is for 1 pair or if i have to use 2 pair. If it is 16lb per pair then using to would give added security in my mind and there should be no reason they don’t hold this relatively light clock. Well, 48 hours later, see photos. My hundred dollar clock is BROKE and so is my heart. I LOVE this clock and it took years for me to finally get one. The entire face of this clock broken….

I had used these many years ago to help during earthquakes. They worked great. Two years ago, same everything, new strips because change placement of some pictures, and added some new ones. The new product, done the exact same way, on same surfaces only held for a few months. They no longer stick to my walls, even following the directions exactly. Second time I tried, I noticed the alcohol is leaving “light patches”. Seems my husband was correct, best ways are old ways.
I will add, only use on clean extremely smooth surfaces. I think my very lightly textured walls might be the reason. However, there is one old picture still hanging for I believe over(?) 3 years now on same wall. Going to see how long it lasts. Seems you changed the product, the new strips are not as thick of adhesive which seemed to help them stick so well.
There are slight discoloration where the old strips had been, but not really noticeable unless you are really looking. Once again, think from the alcohol.

Worked perfectly!
I wanted to display some personal photos/art work in my office to personalize my space. We are not allowed to put nails in the wall without asking for special permission - you know the drill. Instead, I used Command Large Picture Hanging Strips. They were easy to use and I was so happy to hang my artwork in my office. However, I recently relocated and removed the art work from the office walls. No mess, no residue, not a hint that anything had been on the wall. I have bought more Command strips for my new office walls!

Love these!
I use these large Velcro strips to hang all my frames and paintings on my walls! I move around a lot, and like to change up my decor when I take new photos or paint something new. These strips don’t peel any paint off the wall and are so easy to take down and put back up. Plus, they are strong!!! I don’t have to worry about anything falling off the wall.

Best thing since Command hooks!
I have been using Command products for years. When the picture hanging strips came out I used them for multiple picture galleries, and many other things. We recently bought a new home and I just hung a clock in every room using these strips, including the bathrooms. New picture galleries are next on my agenda. TEARS paint off wall! NOT damage free hanging
The short version: these strips tore paint off my wall, despite meticulously following instructions. Do not recommend.
I bought these strips to hang a frame. I followed the instructions and cleaned the wall with rubbing alcohol and then applied the strips and pressed firmly for the recommended amount of time. Step 5 asks you to peel the frame off using the bottom two corners so you can press each strip into the wall firmly. I did so gently, slowly applying more and more pressure over a long period of time, but one of the strips ripped a large section of paint off my wall anyway.
I am very unhappy as I am renting and will have to pay for the damage. This is not damage free hanging as advertised. 3M please take responsibility for the poor performance of your product and make things right.

stays up for about an hour then just falls off the wall. The velcro is strong... but the sticky part isn't very sticky to stay on the wall. I even cleaned the spot I was placing the picture I let it dry for a few hours before placing command strips on the wall. Held great for a few hours then it just randomly fell off the wall. I put new command strip on the wall again few hours later it fell off the wall....

A great product if used correctly. If hanging an item in a non controlled temperature area (example: camper) place the command strip on the wall and your item but do not hang for at least 24 hours and use more than one.

Perfect for remotes!
I have previously lost TV or DVD player remotes. I figured out a new use for these Large Picture Hanging Strips. I put one on the back of the TV or DVD Player and one on the remote. I click them together, and the remote never gets lost again. It easily pulls away when I need it, and quickly snaps back together again when I'm ready to store it.

Did not do well holding small pictures on drywall.
Terrible. I would rather have the nail holes than the chipped paint where the Command strip ripped the finish as the pictures were falling. They were only 4" x 6", so no - they were not too heavy.

Infinite Uses Both In and Outside the Home
From the time I open the pack I cannot help but look for uses. The interlocking of these large picture hanging strips is not only strong on walls. It can be used for car window applications (EZ Pass transponders, cell phones, even window shades and more).

Tore the paint off my wall
Tried to use two of these pairs to hang a very lightweight picture frame in my bathroom which was just remodeled. Instructions say to wait at least 7 days after painting before using these. The paint was over two weeks old. Followed the instructions exactly. When I removed the frame by lifting out from the bottom as instructed, one of the two strip pairs tore a huge chunk of paint off the wall, right down to the drywall. Had to pay the contractor to come back and repair it. "Do No Harm"? That's deceptive marketing. NOT recommended.

Still holding!
I purchased these command strips to hang very large canvas paintings above my 2 fire places and entrance way to my home. The oldest which is in my entrance hallway was put up 3.5 years ago and still holding the original canvas painting as if it were the first day. Great pruduct.

So easy to hang a picture
I have been buying these large picture hangers for a couple years... they make hanging a picture yourself so easy! I live with my kids they normally don’t help me hang picture! No tools required, and no holes in the walls!

Weight limits not actual
I love command strips but I hung a pic frame on the wall using four of the pair that indicated 30 pound limit. It the middle of the night the pic fell leaving strips on pic but not wall. It ruined a thirty dollar frame that I purchased to match others. $30 was 75% off so you can figure the original price of the frame. I assume the finish on the wood was not compatible with the strips. I have hung other frames at more weight and they did fine.

Holds Well!
I bought these on the off chance of using them to hold my pictures to the wall in my office. Once you get them fully set and secured, they hold very well and have held for almost a full year.

Great idea/terrible product
I attached a handful of very light picture frames from Ikea on my wall using your command strips about a year ago. I believe 4 strips are supposed to hold 16 pounds total. My frame is 3 pounds so I used 2 strips thinking that would more than suffice. In recent days I had 2 frames fall off the wall and one of them actually broke. They are light but still have sharper corners so luckily none of my kids was under them at the time. All of these strip products seem like "easy" and clean solutions but the products do not perform. I've had other small strips with hooks etc simply fall off the wall as well. Great ideas terrible execution.

I bought these to hang my work bag on and the atrip wouldnt stay on because apparently if your location has a texture to it as does my wall it wont stick to it. These are now just taking up space in my drawer because the store i bought them at wont take them back.

WORST PRODUCT EVER
We used command strips to hang up three of our pictures. Two of them fell and broke! That's over $300 in pictures. Not only that but it scuffed up our wall on the way down. We want compensation!

THEY DON'T STICK
I don't know why I keep giving command strips a chance. I guess because I don't want holes in my wall. But I have no choice. I don't know how many times I've had stuff fall off the walls and break. I have a picture that weighs 2 lbs. I used the command strips that hold up to 16 lbs. Get up this morning and it is on the floor broken. Put it up 2 weeks ago. Use a nail if you actually want it to stay on the wall!

I used to be a walking advertisement for this product. I swore by them to everyone I knew. I would spend the money on them in bulk even though they are expensive. Something has changed in the way they make them, and they no longer work. Just rehung a picture that fell after a year of holding, and this one just fell and hour after hanging it and broke the frame I just replaced. So so frustrated with this product. It is now worthless. This has happened all over the house in the last six months and has cost me so much! And it used to be so good.

I used four pairs of the large hanging strips for an 8x11 frame. It was not heavy and I followed the directions. It still fell off the wall and broke the frame. You're much better off buying a box of pictures nails. It'll cost 1/100th of the price and will actually work.

Easy to use, no damage to walls!!
I bought these for a wall in my historic home. I was worried about damaging the surface, and to my great surprise- these did amazing! I was shocked at how easily they can be adjusted, and when I was done with my wall, they stayed put! A few months later, they're still on place!

I have had mixed results
I have had pictures fall off the wall many times and I always use more than what is recommended for the weight. Today, I went to remove the part that was stuck to the wall and the part that you pull broke. I had to pull on the part remaining and it ripped the paint off the wall. So sad. I love to move things around and thought this would be a perfect solution. Now if I want to move things, I'll have to paint the whole wall.

I use these all the time to hang pictures, holiday decorations, etc. They don’t damage the walls, but hold as well as a metal picture hanger.

No More Nails for Me !!
I just downsized my home and moved into a great apartment. But I couldn't bear to part with many of my generations of family pictures. When I left my home- all the walls had nail holes. In my new home, everything- and I mean everything is up with Command hooks.Even heavy frames. Command hooks make it easier to attach to the frame, make it level, move it when you get a new picture,and of course take the hook off the wall!. They come in every size you could possibly need. They are wonderful in closets, pantries, bathrooms, etc. I don't ever want to leave my new home. But if I do, I won't ever have to worry about those nail holes.

I have bought several of these double adhesive strips that were intended to hang pictures. I have used these to hold down the mats that I keep in my tool boxes. I have used them to reattach loose automobile trim and to keep my cupholder liner in place.

Trusted didn't come easily...
I was skeptical about this product to be honest. I decided to try to hang a 15 pound mirror from the Command Strip Hanging product. I was concerned it may be too heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed in place, and has stayed in place for 5 years now. I am so glad I am able to save my walls from damage, and hang my precious wall hangings safely.

Not enough
You have to use 1 pack per picture which is to many. I have about 6 pictures that's 6 packs @ 3.50 per pack that's about $20. Although I don't want holes in my wall I will because it's much cheaper to buy pack of nails and hammer and still have gas money left.

Terrible product
Bought these to put up pictures in my Mom's new residence and of 20 or so pictures 3/4 have come off the walks over the course of a few months to a year. Not at all impressed. Broke several precious items when they came down. Garbage product and I would give it less than one star if I could

I had two pictures fall off the wall after using the large command strips. I don’t think it was the strips but the cheap spay on contractor flat wall paint. I prepped the wall as directed.

Horrible strips
Strips are difficult to remove the paper from the adhesive. After following the instructions I have had a picture fall off the wall twice.

Doesn't last forever
I hung up a bunch of pictures with these. I loved it didn't leave holes in the walls but after a year my 3rd picture has fallen off the wall. One broke. So the rest I have hanging up with this product I have taken down because it's only a matter of time they fall off also. I will now be using nails. It's a shame.

MONEY NOT WELL SPENT
I bought this TODAY at the store. I got home and proceeded to apply the whole pack to a dry erase board that wasn’t even close to weighing 16 pounds. However, when I attached it to my wall, it fell off not one but THREE times. And to top it off, I didn’t ask for the receipt at the store because I have never had a problem with these products before so now I can’t even get my money back.

I would review with zero stars if possible
After following instructions carefully and installing 3 pictures using the Command picture hangers, my husband and I were hurt by the flying glass that resulted from the pictures dropping to the floor within 15 minutes of installation. I made 3M aware of this and they advised me that they would not be publishing my review to their site. I’m trying again in hopes of preventing someone else from getting hurt.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought these to hang pictures in my new place instead of putting holes in the walls. I had a large picture that weights about 8 pounds so I used 5 of the "holds up to 16 lb" strips. The picture fell after 5 days breaking the glass and frame.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These strips do not work and will ruin your pictures/art. (didn't hold small canvases that weight less than a pound either)

Sad results
I followed the directions and was shocked when in the middle of the night my 5x7 pociture fell off the wall. Upon calling about this I was told you had no other 'complaints' so that was the end of the call.

Awesome product!
I use these all the time for various projects, not just hanging pictures. They are my go-to if I need to mount just about anything, from curtain rods to paintings. I absolutely love them, and I can't imagine my decorating life without them!
