The C/Port connects desktop peripherals to a centralized PC Blade over standard Category 5 homerun cabling up to 200m. While only the size of a paperback book, the C/Port gives the user the full functionality of a Pentium dual-core or dual Xeon computer.
The C7130 C/Port uses solid-state electronic components to send and receive signals from the PC blade over Category 5 cable (supports CAT5/5E/6), up to a distance of 660 ft. (200m). It also a reset/power button for remote power management of the PC blade. With no moving parts, heat and noise are greatly reduced.
