Check Point - SFP+ Transceiver Module - 10 GigE

The SFP+ Transceiver Module provides fast communication between network switches and other components. Because of its small size, SFP is one of the most common interfaces in Gigabit Ethernet, fiber channels and other network types. The SFP+ transceiver module is hot-pluggable for easy and fast configuration without network downtime. It works with 10GBase-LR cables and supports a data transfer speed of 10 GBps. The data link protocol is 10 GigE. The Check Point® transceiver module has four ports and a female RJ-45 connector, so you can integrate it into your existing network configuration. In comparison with SFP, SFP+ supports high data transfer speeds. SFP+ connectors are backward compatible with SFP ports. The plug-in module is compatible with the 16200, 26000, 28000, 6400, 6500, 6700, 6800, 6900 and 7000 appliance models from Check Point. The maximum transfer distance is 98 feet. It works with both copper and fiber Gigabit Ethernet cables.
